“Great service absolutely!!!! It could be much more sanitize and clean. It wasn't horribly dirty but with covid an flu season there should be just a little more precautions taken. The service was wonderful and received my food quickly. That wasn't the best either not bad but not good not due to the worker's they made it as great as they could with what they're given.“
“See Gina (Woodmere location) if you want great service. My husband and I (from MD) and my brother and his wife (OH) came here to celebrate my birthday. We had an awesome time! Gina was very informative about the restaurant and the menu choices. She was fantastic! Thank you Gina! We’ll be back!“
“Everyone there was supper nice and I enjoyed all my food! This was my first time coming and the margaritas are really good too! You have to try the frozen raspberry one!Vegetarian options: They have a section for vegetarian options!Parking: The parking lot is a little on the smaller side, but you should always be able to find a spot!Kid-friendliness: My daughter loved the taco and they gave her a kids menu to color while we waited for the food!“
“Blue Agave Cleveland, an amazing place that you should absolutely try. Great food and the margaritas were terrific. Try street tacos and Mezcal-Rita. Decor looked great and service was amazing. Our server Kristela was amazing, patient and sweet. Thank you blue agave! Definitely a great experience.“
“The first 3 times I came in and had dinner, I'll be honest, I hated it. Food wasn't hot, it was eh boring. I came again recently and it was probably the 2nd best Mexican meal I've had anywhere. One thing that has been amazing each time is the salsa' phenomenal. The guac is so good as well. Being that we live 2 minutes away and it was so good this last time, we are going to come again. So good!Just wiah the service was better, not so friendly for a neighborhood restaurant.“
“One of our favorite places to eat. Drinks and food are always amazing, and they always offer unique specials. Our favorites are the Colorado Burrito and the seasonal Chorizo dog.Parking: They provide free parking in the lot next door after 4pm.“
“New favorite Mexican spot— the food is top notch & service is great! We’ve been here two time in the past two months and both times have been amazing! Fantastic and quick service, great cocktails and an awesome happy hour. Love the ambience, music and vibes here!!! Can’t go wrong with their entrees & tacos are great— recommend the chicken chipotle!“
“Very cool atmosphere! Very vibrant and colorful. I've been wanting to try them out, but it wasn't what i was expecting. Little disappointed in the tacos. I tried the asada Street tacos, and it was slices of steak with not much flavor. To me, that's not asada. But It was ok. Nothing special. I also tried a flight of margaritas!! Now I will say I never had a banana flavored margarita, but it was good! Overall, the service was good, but I don't think I'll go back because they automatically add 15% gratuity to your bill plus a convenience fee if you use your card!!! I was like, what the heck!!!“
“Yummmmm. So fun little fact, this hidden gem is attached to a supermarket! The place was virtually empty when we came in for dinner and that's how we knew it was gonna be good! Food came out quick and hot. The burrito was so big, I only ate half and am pleased to save the rest for later.“
“The place was pretty busy and it seems like it has a good atmosphere. I had a takeout order which was missing part of it. It must have just been a miscommunication because I only was charged for one of the things that I preferred two of. The receipt didn't have what I ordered listed out so I didn't notice until I got home. The food was good I just would have preferred getting what I had planned on.“
“First time we visited the place, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was very quiet (it was early), the service was excellent, the waitress was very attentive, everyone who was in the restaurant at that time was very friendly. I recommend it ?“
“It's never a breeze going out to dinner with a 5 and a 3 year old but the whole staff at El Carnicero did an amazing job and made sure the experience was smooth sailing from the start! The guacamole was delicious and fresh and they made sure there was never a shortage of chips for both the guacamole and the girls. The Floutas and the Barbacoa were both indescribable outside the word delightful. We finished with the fried ice cream. I could go on and on about the food but the short and sweet of it is its on another level from any restaurants nearby. The most important part of the meal to highlight was the staff though. The server was very helpful and made sure the meal was timed perfectly for us and the kids. The supporting staff was very friendly and even gave us some tips on other restaurants they recommend in other areas of Cleveland. The hosts upfront were super friendly to the kids and left them with all smiles. No matter what aspect of a restaurant you care about, it's a guarantee El Carnicero will check that box and leave you with only one regret... that you didn't come here sooner!“
“Been to this location many times and it is always good for a hot tasty Mexican meal. Servers have always been good, although sometimes the accent is a bit difficult, but that only adds to the Mex experience. I will always come back.Parking: Limited parking at the building but they have an adjacent extra lot.“
“We stop here on Thursday 2/15/2024 for the first time and am not to into Mexican food except I could get regular tacos… any time either though they does have food that look beautiful I’m just a picky eater..but let me tell your, the food that we order was delicious I know I did order something from the appetizers menu but it was delicious and the drinks OMG are so freaking good seriously, if yall really like Mexican food this spot is the one and I been and some Mexican restaurants and next to this food they’re a joke… food is not only delicious but it comes well represented and hot… and the waiter are so friendly and so polite very nice atmosphere…so it didn’t stop there we just went back today 2/17/ 2024 and we came with another family member that she actually love Mexican food and she really would tell yall if the food is good or not.. she really love everything even her beautiful drink the right amount of alcohol but am pretty sure if you would like to add more they would be happy to do it seems to me they are so nice .. they even sing happy birthday to us sense we were celebrating birthday’s .. I’m telling yall people stop here I’m sure if anyone like or love this type of food… you will agree with me..I got few pictures but not from our food I guess we’re to hungry..my apologies for that..and do not forget the delicious dessert.. and most importantly the prices.. are freaking awesome..it’s worth every penny I ..can’t remember no one’s name but they were all super awesome and give it to the chef…please great job cooking.. thanks all of your… we did have a great time.Parking: Not to sure we’re dropped off..“
“The food is excellent! Always very tasty. They have taken care of our large group a few times now and handle it smoothly. Manager says name is changing to El Orito, but the great service and food will stay the same.even the little things like salsa and guacamole are outstanding. Highly recommend!!“
“Crazy it took me this long to stop in!My bros wife was raving about the spare rib tacos, rightfully so. They are fantastically scrumptious.Fajita taco salad was not bad, made with a flour tortilla bowl, which also serves as your dipping nachos.Carnitas was tasty. Thats how I judge new Mexican spots, this passed the test l.Atmosphere: May as well have been in Mexico! Cozy.I shall return“
“This is the ideal backup location if you have nowhere to go for dinner. Food is good, never burnt, nor ever cold upon arrival. The wait staff are friendly and have never caused any problems. The place is nice with it's mood lighting and makes you feel comfortable. Wait time to enter is usually low, during a rush I've never seen a table empty.Parking: The lot is usually pretty full but you can find room as it is a shared lot“
“Went last night and quite honestly, my only complaint was that the music was too loud and made it difficult to have a conversation. The Food on the other hand was amazing! My Spicy burrito was huge and I ended up brining half of it home. The friend I went with ordered the street tacos and presentation for both was superb! Sorry, didn't get pics of those dishes.I tend to judge Mexican restaurants on their salsa and this one was on point! Will definitely return!“
“Food was great. Our server was very nice and checked on us often. I ordered an Agua Fresca and it tasted great but was heavy on the ice. Carne asada is excellent. Cooked exactly as requested. They have the same menu as El Carniceria in Lakewood which seems bigger and more open.“
“The food was good, so why give five stars you ask? Because, look at my photo - the tacos cost $4 instead of the $3 I pay at most places, but you get an incredible amount of steak!!! They FILL your tacos with steak. And the other reason is the condiments bar - you put what you want! From onions, cilantro and tasty salsa to guacamole and cream, plus, all the pickled jalapeños you want!If you like steak tacos, then this is a "must try" destination. It's located inside of a Mexican grocery store.Staff is friendly, service is FAST!No complaints really.“
“This is a nice restaurant that exceeded my expectations. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. I walked into here and was seated in a booth, which came with complimentary tortilla chips and salsa, which tasted good. I ordered the burrito de la diabla, which is a spicy burrito with chorizo and beef inside with a side of rice. The burrito wasn’t very spicy, but it tasted quite good nonetheless. My booth had a bottle of hot sauce with it, which was much spicier and added a lot of flavor to my meal. After having this hot sauce with my meal, I left, satisfied with my experience. I gave this Mexican restaurant five stars because it has tasty food.Parking: There’s free parking around the restaurant.“
“I can’t visit CLE airport without getting the Health Nut smoothie here. Every time it’s delicious and consistent because they measure the ingredients. I’ve also had bowls and smoothies that have all been great. The ingredients are fresh and sauces are full of flavor. The place is very clean and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend it. I wish there was a location outside of the airport!“
“Good food, been here few times and will keep going. Only thing is the service/waitress/waiter are so busy they never come around to see if you need anything, you literally have to wave them down!Parking: They have good parking but because it's so busy on weekends and during dinner time it's hard to find parking spot and always a wait time to be seated.“
“Consistently churning out Mexican favorites. Arroz con Pollo, Carnitas, Enchiladas, Tamales… if you’re in the mood for a Fiesta or stopping by to pickup carry out, including Margaritas to go, this place should be on everyone’s list of ‘go to’ Mexican restaurants.“
“First time ordering from this place and I have no regrets. The tacos were amazing, the rice and beans were on point, the strawberry banana frozen margaritas were phenomenal and did there job, the girl who took My order over the phone had great customer service am sorry i didnt catch her name but whoever worked on Monday night and took an order around 8 great job u answered all my questions without an attitude n didn't mind me having so many questions.“
“It's not a bad place to eat TexMex. The flavors in the vegetarian options are weak and need some work. Tables are a bit tightly packed in making conversations less private.Vegetarian options: Lots of options, but they are on the bland side.“
“We did a pick up order for a birthday family gathering. The food was so favorable, fresh and was enjoyed by everyone…including the kids! What a great way to have a delicious mealwithout all the fuss. Highly recommend this authentic Mexican restaurant!“
“Food was great my only prob I don't think my server spoke the best English therefore he misunderstood alot of what I was requesting or asking about my order which in return made it annoying trying to.order but he managed to get it corrected and tasted ?? great so all was “
“I am giving the 5 ? for the excitement that we have to try this place ? ? ?.The surrounding area is something that you have to experience, new drivers beware.Especially if you are driving north. The easiest looking way seems to be when you are driving ? south on West 130th towards 480.Otherwise, it is street tacos ? ? ,you gotta get em.“
“It's worth a shot to come here, but understand it's on the nitty gritty side of build your own burrito or salad bowl. Prices are suitable for the quality. There are a few different options, but nothing will blow your tastebuds away. Mind the atmosphere and don't expect anything to impress or make you feel anything but "it's clean, right?"I still choose Chipotle.Vegetarian options: Customizable burritos and bowls. Be sure to ask if anything has been cooked with meat broths.“
“This place is incredible! My mom and I came here a few weeks ago to try it since it had changed to a new Mexican restaurant. I’m a vegetarian and they had plenty of options and the food was delicious. Everything is made fresh to order so we were even able to order guacamole without any onions in it. Service was fast, restaurant was extremely clean and the drinks were great. This restaurant is a fantastic addition to the North Royalton! We can’t wait to go back!“
“Quick kitchen with take out food and cute colorful mexican decor inside.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian dishes. Big vegetarian section in the menuDietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegetarian optionsParking: Parking all around the building, lots of spacesKid-friendliness: Color kids menu and high chairsWheelchair accessibility: Parking close by and ramp up to the door“
“Came here twice with my bestie and the whole experience was great both times. Staff are super friendly and the food is so yummy! When I order a small queso, it is so big compared to other restaurants! I love it! I definitely will be coming back and bringing more people to introduce to this place!“
“Drinks are always so good and the food is out of this world with so many choices and your plate is well full. The price is very affordable for the amount of food you good plus really good services! They also have some of the best French fries and Queso ever! Ambiance is great we always sit at the bar or a booth.“
“Stopped here for lunch with some co-workers. This was my first time here, and I would go back to again. Something happened with the restaurants POS machines and we had to wait a while for any orders to be taken until they were connected. We had to speed up service with our waiter, but she was respectful and accommodating about it. Sorry I don’t remember name for a shoutout. This was different from any other Tex-Mex I’ve had before, but it was all surprisingly tasty. The menu items are unique, so you just have to be willing to try something new. I had the Lomo Saltado tacos, and they were delicious! Would definitely eat them again. Beautiful atmosphere here. Would be a nice spot to eat outside at when the weather is nice.“
“If you're looking for real authentic Mexican food this is the best place in Cleveland. The restaurant itself makes you feel like you're in Mexico unless you look out the window. Very generous portions. The mood is very light and festive.“
“So have you ever been to a Mexican restaurant anywhere in Northeast Ohio? Then this is exactly what you're looking for because I feel like it's the same as any other of the dozens of Mexican restaurants... but the food is good the price is reasonable and the service is “
“La Casa Tequila brings the authentic flavors of Mexican street food and culture to the city in a lively yet rustic setting. Stepping through the oak doors is like walking into a traditional cantina in a small Mexican pueblo, with arched doorways, colorful ceramic tiles, and decor paying homage to Mexican folk art and traditions. The menu features classic Mexican fare made with high-quality, fresh ingredients. We started with guacamole made tableside, bursting with flavor from chunks of ripe avocado, lime juice and chili. For our mains, we ordered tacos al pastor topped with grilled pineapple salsa and chicken fajitas served with warm flour tortillas, homemade pico de gallo and sour cream. The tacos were charred just right and packed full of flavor, and the fajitas came sizzling on a skillet loaded with grilled onions, peppers and tender chicken. The restaurant offers a wide selection of well-crafted margaritas made with premium tequilas, as well as Mexican beers on draft. Live mariachi bands perform on weekends, filling the dining room with upbeat ranchera music and getting patrons up dancing between courses.Overall, La Casa Tequila transports you to the colorful streets and vibrant culture of Mexico through welcoming service, authentic cuisine and lively atmosphere. It's a great place to head for an evening of authentic Mexican food, margaritas and mariachi music. I will definitely be returning for more tastes of Mexican street cuisine and festive evenings.“
“Had lunch from Tropical Flame today and it was very tasty. I ordered a chicken and rice bowl. It came with a creamy curry sauce that I loved. It had a hint of spice and a great overall flavor. The chicken was very good - it was moist, tender, and tasted good. The dish also had pears and potatoes, but I couldn't taste the pear. The basmati rice was dry and yellow, but tasty. He added corn, which I loved. It made the dish that much more filling. He also overloaded my bowl. Plus, he threw in a free can of pop for a total of $10. I can see that this truck doesn't attract of lot of customers, but I can tell you, the rice bowls are tasty. I believe this is one of the few, if not the only Indian-influenced food truck around. Give it a try!“
“It was actually pretty good for what you can get up north. A mix of cali and tex mex styles, the food might not make your top 10, but still makes for an enjoyable meal. The décor is both colorful and rustic. Almost made me nostalgic for a place my family took us to in the 90s.Parking: Parking was a bit cramped at the time for our SUV“
“Enchilada with veggies and mole was superb. Also, the chicken enchilada with green sauce was excellent. Dessert was fried ice cream which was tasty. Appropriate Spanish music playing in the background added to the atmosphere. We will return.Parking: Park in back and enter through the backdoor.“
“New addition to the Tower City food court. Definitely get some bang for your buck here...got 2 empanadas and a arepa for about $10. Food was OK, didn't wow but wasn't bad. Service was nice. Food was cooked to order and took 5-10 mins to come out. Happy to see unique restaurants filling the sleepy tower city...hope to see more soon.“
“Perhaps one of the most delicious tacos I have had in a while. Got the make your own bowl with pork and the flavors were amazing. Paired that with a chorizo soft taco with aioli which was also delicious. Great food and great service!! Can't wait to roll back into town and check this place out again.“
“Okay so I’ll start off by saying me and my boyfriend had a ENTIRE debate about this place. I was bias . I talked down on this place and said no don’t order bc I’ve never heard of it. Soooo he ordered anyway! So i ordered Mexican off door dash (being a spoiled brat and TRYING to prove a point) am needless to say the Mexican food is sitting on the counter UNOPENED i swear i can’t make this up. This pizza is was literally the BEST UNDERRATED pizza places I’ve EVER had.the quality, the taste of the pizza itself was GOOD! Sauce was good and didn’t give me instant heart burn ??. Just order it. Promise you won’t regret. The wings, were ordinary “wings” nothing to brag about tbh! But the pizza?. Different story ???.“
“Recently found this gem and holy moly flavor town is what I'm talking about!! This place is absolutely hands down best place to eat in n tower city.. I've had the chicken and the bbq Korean short ribs bowls, the guacamole ? ?, if you haven't tried it, get there asap..“
“Here for a conference and wanted to walk to a local place for lunch. I think I found the best place in town. My burrito was huge and delicious (and I’d say I’m a connoisseur of burritos). The employees were very friendly, the space inside is small with only a few tables but one was available and clean for me. Best of all, the giant burrito and fountain drink was very reasonably priced. Winner, winner, burrito lunch (and dinner). ?“
“Camino is a great spot to have some tasty tacos and drinks! I've always been able to find seating and it's a fun atmosphere with neat decor. The food is great! There are so many options of tacos. My personal favorites were the Backyard BBQ chicken and the Taco Durado. The margaritas are good too! Overall, it is a very solid taco spot that I'd recommend to anyone.“
“Waiter was excellent and attentive and the tacos were amazing. My new favorite taco place. The meat had a great taste and I love their taco topping bar. We didn’t expect to get dessert, but once we heard they had Tres Leches cake, we couldn’t resist and it was so good.“
“The food was amazing, as was the atmosphere, but the cook is also the waiter and everything. You have to be willing to wait forever for your food, have the wrong food to you, and maybe get forgotten. There was another guy helping him out, but I was told that was not normal, and the young male disappeared shortly after taking our order and never came back.I was told by the friend who invited us that "the old cowboy" is usually the only employee, and there's only one customer. Tonight, he had a stream of customers and ran out of supplies. We didn't get our third drink for quite awhile. He brought the wrong food to the table next to us. We waited 2 hours for our food and he brought us an extra taco. I assumed it belonged to a different table and suggested as much. I said we'd accept it if it didn't belong to a different table. He left it with us.It was all absolutely delicious, but it was $45 for four tacos -- one of which we didn't order, 2 pieces of delicious Key lime pie, one $2 bottle of water, 2 $3 bottles of Jarritos, and he tried to charge us for chips and guac that we neither ordered nor received. My husband absolutely refuses to go again, but we had a good time chatting with our friend and the food and atmosphere were wonderful. I'd go again. Just don't expect professional service. And make sure you bring cash.Parking: There were a number of free spots available when we arrived, though I don't know if that's always true. Some of the other parking spots had parking meters.“
“Ok so the place needs a little updating and that's kept me from trying it but I recently looked at their menu and it looked very good so I went for it... WOW! The conquistador did not disappoint it was stuffed with meat and cheese! I tried the chili dog and it was great, but the cap't dog had a great meaty consistency and spicy flavor that I love! I will go back!“
