“The weather was beautiful so we sat outside on the patio. We were greeted by a friendly and warm waitress named Brooke, and had cocktails and appetizers served to us shortly after arriving. “My husband & I went to Otherworld today & my husband loves hot dogs so we had to try Bowzers out! We ordered a coney dog, junkyard dog & a chicago style dog. All three dogs were delicious, generous portions of toppings on each one. The buns were soft & held up through the wetness from the chili & relish. Though the hot dogs come with forks, knives & a nicely wrapped thick napkin, in case the bun decides to cave in! Bowzers was a quick 3 minute drive from Otherworld & there were plenty of parking spaces & places to sit & enjoy our lunch on this nice day! Service was quick & the owner working was very nice. “We had a rehearsal dinner at El Parian Steaks & Tequila. They have a back room that seats up to 60 people. They were absolutely wonderful to work with, reasonable in price, and very accommodating. They gave us the option to pick 4 menu items off the menu for our guests to choose from or the options of - taco, fajita, or nacho bar. We chose the fajita and nacho bar. The food was hot and ready when we arrived. The guacamole here tastes so good! They even packed up the leftover food for us! Their staff were very attentive and kind. We will definitely recommend them to others. Wonderful job! 👏👏👏“

I was eating my dessert and was dissatisfied at the taste and just from her looking at my face she saw an offer to exchange it with something that was more pleasant. Not only did she offer me a new dessert that I had not tried but gave me different ideas to try different things on the menu. She took the time to make me and my daughter feel special on her birthday and I would love to hear a follow up that she receives some sort of recognition because this type of customer service is rare these days.“

“Roosters in Lancaster is exactly what it looks like: bar food, lots of TVs, plenty of beer and drinks, and a fun, energetic atmosphere. We went with five adults and two kids, and it worked well for the group.

Food allergies and sensitivities are always part of the adventure for us. My wife deals with gluten and dairy, while I bring tree nuts and Alpha-Gal to the party, plus the diabetes kicker just to keep things interesting. Roosters actually made this easier than a lot of restaurants. They have a separate allergen menu, and the staff was helpful working through our choices. Roosters also recommends letting the manager on duty know about allergies before ordering.

I had the fried chicken salad, which was exactly what I was looking for: straightforward bar food disguised as responsible eating because technically there was lettuce involved. The Lancaster menu offers both full and half versions of the fried chicken salad.

Anjelina had the potato skins without cheese, and the kitchen was able to make that modification for her. The standard version comes with mozzarella, cheddar, bacon bits and sour cream, so this was definitely a customized order.

The atmosphere is definitely bar first, restaurant second, but in a good way. I counted 10 TVs in a relatively small space, so if there is a sporting event happening somewhere on planet Earth, there is a reasonable chance you can watch it here. Good selection of beers and drinks as you would expect from a place that clearly embraces its bar identity.

Kids are absolutely fine here. I probably wouldn’t choose it for a serious business meal because of the noise and TVs, and I wouldn’t recommend it for a first date where you’re actually hoping to hear each other’s life stories.

But a casual date after you’ve already established that you like each other? Absolutely. Families, friends, kids, sports and casual meals all fit right in.

Roosters isn’t trying to be something it’s not. It’s a lively sports bar with solid food, lots of TVs and enough attention to food allergies to make our complicated little dining circus considerably easier.“

“I have celiac disease and have hard a time finding food that isn’t contaminated, especially pizza. The staff reassured me that they checked with kitchen multiple times to make sure nothing was being contaminated. It was by far the most delicious gluten free pizza I’ve had so far !“

“Had a family Christmas get together (party of 8) Tuesday Dec 23 at Max and Ermas Lancaster. I want to say my food was great as were the kids meals and my wife seemed to enjoy her Great American Burger! The complaints I had were less about the food but rather the attentiveness in the service. We left what was over $20 tip on a $102 ticket so the waitress was more than compensated. My mom was a waitress most of her life and so our family has always tipped. Service would have to be nonexistent for us to no tip but many would have said the kind of service received during this visit was no where near a $20 tip. At no point were we ever preemptively asked for drink refills. Max and Ermas now has fry refills much like Red Robin but again at no time were we ever asked for such. We did get asked when the food was brought out if we needed anything else but at NO point did a manager or staff member ask how the food was or check in from a customer service perspective. The ticket could have easily earned another $15-$20 higher even with suggestions of ice cream for the kids or appetizers. I wanted to share this because as stated while from a food taste perspective most of our food was terrific (The Larado Steak was way too tough) the quality of service would probably make me think about a visit again soon!“

“The quality of our local steak and shakes have significantly improved along with the staff. Much cleaner, tastes better, and even seems more filling than it used to. On top of that the new company policies like banning microwaves, beef tallow for their fried goods, and grass fed beef for the burgers. It went downhill a while ago but I can definitely say it has done a complete 360 and has honestly been one of our families favorite quick fast food locations now. Definitely better than McDonald's.“
