“We came here for dinner one mid-week evening before taking a stroll through Summit Park. You can definitely show up dressed comfortably/casually, but they have pretty decent ambiance, suitable for some weekend fun. We weren't super intrigued by the menu; it was a little less extensive than I'd hope from a place like this, mostly heavier options, and maybe not a ton of things I'd order next time. For me, the mussels far exceeded my expectations. That broth was heavenly, the bread was soft and perfect for soaking up the great flavors, the mussels themselves were very abundant, and had okay freshness. My lady said her burger was mediocre. She tried both the truffle fries and duck fat fries and was disappointed by both. I've never seen her not eat fries before, so that says a lot! Service was good overall. I'd come back for those mussels any day, but not quite as excited to dig deeper into the menu. I wouldn't deter anybody from giving them a try, especially if out enjoying the park on a nice day.“

“It doesn't look like much from the outside or the inside, but damn is that burger good. Hand made patties that definitely seem like it's more than 8 ounces. And then the topping choices are insane. I love manchego cheese and have never put it on a burger. I will be from here on out. The fried manchego with peppers and the orange/pineapple/whatever sauce was delicious.

“Last night our family unexpectedly stopped in while a large group (20ish people. The staff was quick to make space for us and our waitress was amazing. She got all of our orders correct and even helped me order safely w food allergies. The chefs also did a wonderful job. “I’ve been here a couple times and absolutely loved it. It’s a good place to get a hearty breakfast and a good cup of coffee. The food is good, the service is outstanding and despite the place being a bit cramped at time it’s cozy. I particularly recommend this one thing I had that I think was called the Flying Pig. It was ham and swiss on french toast, and while that sounds weird it was absolutely delicious. Definitely check this place out if you can.“

“Last time we came here we had a gift card for Oakley kitchen, and the man working at the time (April 16th 2024 actually) did sketches and drawings and was super nice, (also the burgers are phenomenal) he figured out how to use the gift card perfectly fine and even rung us up a second time for another order. We came again today and they suddenly can’t take the gift card, it’s a 100 dollar gift card and there’s only four places even open here with fat Al’s being one of the two places we’re interested in. Really dissapointing as it was used perfectly fine the last time TWICE and we drove half an hour to get here specifically for their burgers. The manager was on the phone and said they were one of the last people to switch to using a card (or something like that??) but again it worked last time we came so that doesn’t make any sense :/ our visit today was on 4/30/24.“

“A little biased at the moment because it's early and not crowded which is my favorite flavor. Taylor did wonderful and Austin definitely did his job promoting the joint. “I just went through the drive-through off of Ridge in Oakley and ordered a bacon BBQ steak burger. The gentleman who took my order could not have been more sweet and kind. Today I had a really bad day and the gentleman who took my order showed me an act of kindness that really lifted my spirits. Not to mention when I got home the sandwich was hot, and tasted really good! I hardly ever go to Steak And Shake but I am a huge fan now. “Last Fall, we had Ron's Roost cater a family wedding celebration at our home. When we picked up the food, it was tediously prepared and organized for transporting. Their service was outstanding! The portions were abundant! Nobody beats their chicken for a large crowd. Everyone raved about it! And we were able to send lots of food home with our guests. I HIGHLY recommend both their restaurant and this take out catering service. They are reasonably priced, a Westside favorite and owned by a lovely family. Thank you!“

“I've been a fan of Local Post since they first opened, and they never disappoint. My most recent visit was on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon, where I enjoyed the patio and the rare treat of a weekday brunch. As someone with a nontraditional schedule, I love that they offer brunch during the week! Though I didn’t see a Bloody Mary on the menu, the bartender went above and beyond to make me one, and it was hands down one of the best I've ever had. I also ordered the brunch fries, which were spot-on. The service was outstanding—friendly, accommodating, and they really made me feel at home. The laid-back atmosphere and great vibes make Local Post a go-to spot for me.“

This Loveland location has been bad, but has improved a lot over the last few years. Love the afternoon crew - they've always been in a pretty good mood on the occasions I've been through the drive through. The dining area looks pretty fresh and clean.

Watch out for the construction next to the parking lot. It's messed up traffic and access to parking. One way in and out currently.“

“El Barril is a really awesome Mexican joint we found in Mount Adam's in Cincinnati. It had both indoor and outdoor seating but on this day we decided on the inside. The restaurant looks really super fun with lots of tremendous decor with even the chairs being unique (and comfortable too.) They had a lot of unique takes on Mexican dishes (lots of unique burgers on the menu for one) as well as some classic favourites. We started with an appetizer of Buffalo Chicken Dip which was a straightforward take on it. It had lot's of chicken, a very flavourful but not too spicy Buffalo sauce, and some blue cheese mixed in. It was served with chips. This was as good of take as I've had on a Buffalo Dip that I've had from anyplace. For my main course I tried the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos which was 3 hard tacos served with grilled shrimp topped with spicy Bang Bang sauce as well as cilantro. This was very unique but very delicious all the same. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and that sauce I would describe as zesty with a slight punch but not too much. Really liked them a lot. My wife enjoyed her Margarita as well as her food (I believe it was a pork dish but I forgot to take a picture). This was a super fantastic lunch and I for one can't wait to come back.“

I didn't have a server; the bartender from the front took care of me and she did her best but the bar was almost full so it was only so much she could do. No refill or another drink.
