“Posted up at Parable Coffee to work on some personal projects on a Saturday for a few hours. First got a loose leaf black tea, and then later a sour beer they had on draft. Both were competitively priced. Loved the staff, and the ambiance is everything! Giving off the big city vibes I've been missing from my last city. I will say it was a surprise they had automatic gratuity, and it was a bit loud because it was busy. I just threw in airpods, and all was well. Next time I'll try a bite to eat. Would recommend simply to check out the interior design and music selection.“

And only $4! The cup is compostable, truly, and as a gardener I simply love that. I told the cashier it was my first time and she was so polite and welcoming and helpful when ordering. Lovely plants too. I will be back.“

“Simple interior you order on a tablet and food is done. Fun clean space! FIRST PLACE I've seen anywhere in Ohio/Indiana region serving the trendy Korean Egg Sandwich, so had to try it! I've also never had a tea leaf egg and gave it a go. Both were great, that egg sandwich is AMAZING with a thick slab of creamy perfect egg, great toasted bread.“

“Accessibility Review: As a frequent coffee shop studier, I enjoyed my time getting work done at Gata Magica Cafe and Lounge. As I worked and evaluated the accessibility of the establishment, I noticed upon entering that the tables and chairs on the first floor level are placed tightly together which may be difficult to maneuver around with a wheelchair or walker, especially when the walkway areas are crowded with customers. The upper level is more spread out and spacious, however, it is only accessible by stairs.

As for sensory elements, this coffee shop had a very relaxing atmosphere with a quiet noise level besides the occasional coffee machine sounds and low level of chatter. The lighting was also very relaxed and dim without any fluorescent lighting which helps to create a less stimulating atmosphere for those with sensory sensitivities.

While the menu display itself did not have braille or text reading abilities for the blind or visually impaired, the baristas were very helpful and I’m sure would happily assist a customer by reading the menu aloud if needed. They could make this even more accessible to people with vision impairments by adding an electronic menu option that is screen reader compliant. The pay station was a touch screen tablet and did not have screen reading capabilities that I was aware of, so this may also be difficult for those who are blind or visually impaired to process their payment and pick a tip option independently.

The bathroom had a door with a code lock which may be difficult for individuals who have difficulty with fine motor skills. However, once in the bathroom, there is plenty of space for maneuverability with support railings around the toilet. The sink is at a low enough height to be accessed by wheelchair, however, the soap and paper towels are much higher and would be difficult to reach from a sitting position. The toilet is a manual flush, helping to reduce unexpected sensory input of a loud, unexpected flush.

Overall, I understand that there are limitations on building structures on High Street, but this accessibility is important to consider and for potential disabled customers to be aware of.“

“Great community place for coffee. I got a latte with pumpkin flavoring and it was good - it was more on the gingerbread smell profile and the coffee itself was good. I also get a bag of cat treats when I'm there because my kids like the brand they offer.

Shop itself is a cool little shop with plenty of seating. They sell books, art, bagged coffee and tea.

“It's so wonderful to finally have a non-starbucks coffee joint in my neighborhood. Service is wonderful and Deaf friendly - one of the staff knew a little bit of the manual alphabet. I love the fact there are soft chairs and a soft couch to sit on. With fibromyalgia,it's important I sit on soft furniture. Plenty of tables with chairs to sit to read, type on a laptop, have meetings, etc. The iced latte was delicious - I wished there were more gluten-free baked goods/meals. Plenty of natural light from large windows. FREE parking across the street.“

“We were looking for a last minute cake for the 2 year old in our life. This bakery was recommended a while ago on a Facebook page so I thought we’d give it a try after looking at what they offered. The staff was amazing and made sure they asked if it was for a birthday. They put a chocolate ‘Happy Birthday’ candy on top and gave us candles, a cake cutter and matches. Really a thoughtful gift to help celebrate her birthday. She LOVED the chocolate cloud cake since it mixed her favorites both berries and chocolate. We can’t wait to go back and try the other yummy options.“

The customer service is above and beyond, like nothing you’ve ever seen before, they are super friendly and treat you like you’re a guest in their home. They have a question of the day you answer it and the answer and table number is called out and that’s when you know your order is ready. They make it fun! Their cinnamon biscuits are out of this world. I’m from NJ so biscuits to me are not my thing until I had these and the Manager Mike is super cool, humble and awesome! “From the time you walk up this place is stunning! The flowers outside are stunning. The entry way is clean. Everyone greets you when you enter. Everything is well organized and clearly labeled. The prices are VERY reasonable for the quality of food you get. This is not Walmart lol this is incredibly well made pastries..

This level of pastry takes a lot of technical skill and training. We’ve lived all over the world and these are very rare. This was my first visit and I cannot wait to come back.“

“This neighborhood establishment and renovated church, is located on the corner of W 6th and Thurber in Columbus. A wonderful addition that offers a friendly staff and options. I loved my coffee and cute design on top. Par take at the patio seating out front or sit and relax inside. The woodwork and aesthetics inside is beautiful. Make it your favorite spot.“

“It was my first time here and it was amazing! After I got my cookies and tried them for the first time I had to run in right before closing to get more there just that good. I have celiac disease and I need gluten free food that had not be cross contaminated and this place was just that and the people there were amazing and so kind to me, I will drive the 3 hours from massillon just for this place.“
