“The Firehouse Tavern is a local place in Copley and we went for dinner on a recent Friday evening. In terms of personality - it's a tavern and sports bar with lots of drink specials and screens in a room with a fairly low ceiling. They have classic tavern foods like burgers and flatbreads, but with a surprising number of lobster options - a Mac and Cheese that was delicious and satisfying, a Lobster Chowder and a Lobster flatbread. I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Wrap and it was not the best. It was filled with a generous portion of chicken but too light on the sauce and not mixed together very well. The steamed broccoli side and waffle fries were excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive. They had a live musician on Friday - a very talented guy playing blues, which was a plus, but also kind of loud for the space and maybe not the best choice of music during the dreary winter months. Overall, really good value and we will try this place again.“

“Great coffee concoctions, along with Gelato, that has extreme flavors. Besure to get your desserts before sitting at the bar. If you don't, you will have to wait in line since the bar will not serve edibles (hence 4 stars). “Michele and Jess are amazing!! The drinks are always top shelf… they don’t have a bottom shelf and that’s a good thing. The creativity is unmatched. If you’re in the area, DO NOT miss out on this place!! “My son took me here for my 65th birthday. Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. The atmosphere was pleasant and the food and beverages were yummy. After finishing our meals and sitting there conversing with each other, our waitress brought us 2 complimentary glasses of champagne. I had a great birthday and would definitely return.“

“Stopped in Arnie's for brunch this past Sunday and it was amazing! The breakfast burger was the best burger we've ever had, seriously. The croissant sandwich and potatoes were amazing and the kids loved their fruit loop pancakes. If you haven't been to Arnie's lately, I highly recommend giving it a try. “I can’t recommend Baxter’s Speakeasy enough. It’s the best spot in Akron for a uniquely boutique vibe and the most wonderfully crafted cocktails created by mixology magicians. The vibe is just *right* and it’s exactly what you would want from a speakeasy. The private parties are a charcuterie paradise of sheer meat and cheese wizardry so I definitely recommend inquiring within for your next party.“

“I love this place. I've been searching for that classic jazz ambiance for so long and I finally found it here. The drinks are nice and there's a small food menu, nothing for vegans though except the fries I believe. However, that's not the reason to come right? Lol. The bands that play here are all over the place when it comes to the different sub genres of jazz, so I'd definitely do a little research before coming if you're picky or seeking a certain something. The parking is the only annoying thing.“

“This place was very good overall. The server was very kind, but he seemed to not want to work very quickly. We had to wait quite a while every time that we needed something. I will be back, as I want to try more of their menu, a lot of what I saw on neighboring takes looked good too. Perhaps the servers will be more efficient next time.“

“I dined here for the first time Friday night with a friend of mine. The food, drinks and the young man playing the piano were excellent. We thought the service would be great as the waiter seemed friendly. However, the service was average. Not once did our waiter (his first name has been mentioned in other reviews recently on your page) come back to check on us to see if we were enjoying our meal, nor did he ask if we needed our drinks refilled (including water) until it was time for us to leave. We noticed that he went to other tables multiple times that were seated after us. We were very disappointed. If I return in the future, I will ask to be seated in another section.“

The service was impeccable, Lauren was amazing and took great care of us. The food was creative and delicious. If you haven’t done this we highly recommend Screen Suites. “I'm a bartender so I stopped in here I stop into area r bars to see what's going on just to see if there's anything I could do to help business in our canteen. this place is pretty awesome bartender was great the people were great there's a pinball Jenga ...how many people have Jenga I think everybody needs to stop in here at least once decide for yourself“

“Truly one of the best kept secrets around PLX. I suggest the pork chops. Nothing in the area comes close. Chef Dino is amazing with every meal. Truly our favorite restaurant to go to and it’s always consistent. The drinks from Preston are amazing!“
