“I got the Tony and it was excellent. The menu is limited, might want to expand sandwich choices even just using different combinations of the same meats / cheeses and toppings. Sides and salads are limited, again might want to look at expanding. The grocery concept, I get it biggest complaint of downtown residents is lack of a grocery store. There selection is limited and didnt look like they covered the basics. I would either get in or out of thar business and maybe focus on being a sandwich shop.“

“I would like to share a public review of Vegan It IZ Eats, LLC. Where do I begin? I ordered a Scratch-Made Mushroom and Black Bean Patty, Spring Mix, Smoked Coconut, Signature Sauce, Onion Crunch, Pickles, Tomatoes w/House Chips, and it was exceptionally delicious. Everything was fresh, and it was evident that it was made with love. As someone who rarely eats out due to a preference for preparing fresh meals, Ms. Rhea has undoubtedly changed my perspective. I intend to order from her establishment once a month. That sandwich certainly deserves recognition. If you’re in Dayton Ohio or surrounding areas please support this black owner business, you will definitely do the happy dance while eating .“

“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.“

“Sueño is now easily our favorite Mexican restaurant in Dayton. The atmosphere is vibrant, with great energy and stylish decor. The service is impeccable, complete with complimentary valet parking! Their cocktails are a highlight, especially 'The Guy,' and the food is out of this world. We tried the chips and salsa, (Salsa del Día), Tacos de Cochinita, and the smoked chicken enchiladas — all were absolutely delicious. The smoked chicken enchiladas were so good that we had to order a second serving. I could eat their chips and salsa every day; the salsa, possibly a fermented pineapple and jalapeño blend, is one of the best I’ve ever tasted. If you're looking for upscale Mexican cuisine, Sueño will not disappoint!“

“I don’t review on here unless something is great or terrible, and Lily’s is firmly in the first category. I’ve visited since they opened and felt it was a great brunch spot, but the menu was a bit static for date night dinner. I’m happy to say, they’ve knocked it out of the park with their new menu and Tiki Bar theme.
Cocktails were well-crafted and deserving of the price point, food was excellent and the portions were incredible! Best of all was the service. I’ve always enjoyed the waitstaff at Lily’s, but the team they have now truly love their jobs and their customers, and it shows! They collectively serve the customers as a team and work very cohesively. The result was prompt service and getting to interact with multiple wonderful humans. 10/10 will be back again soon!“

It was awkward on Valentine's weekend as the tables were so close in the area I was sat that it felt like we were sitting at a table with strangers. One side was a single long bench and I was maybe two feet from someone else. It was impossible not to overhear all the conversations. Not the atmosphere you want for this occasion.“

“My friend lives off 3rd Street and said she had fabulous food here. When I pulled up I wasn't sure what I was walking into but have been there almost every week since my first time a few months ago. My dining companion and I were offered our choice of indoor or patio seating (it was a lovely evening, we chose the patio) and our server, Rosette (Rosie) appeared immediately. We were looked after with great attention and our total satisfaction. I had two different wines - both excellent. The starter menu is varied and our choice (Fired Brie) was excellent. We chose two different entrees - MDC had the "surf", I had the "turf" -- both expertly prepared and precisely what we expected, superbly plated. Cannot praise the kitchen staff and our server enough! We both would recommend Coco's to anyone who loves good food, a white-tablecloth experience without excessive formality, and a meal that you'll talk about with friends & family for weeks.“

The only thing I might suggest is a light icing or no icing option on the donuts and cupcakes. While it’s VERY good- at times it is a little much. But give this place a try. “Overall, this is a great place to have a robust breakfast. Be aware that several of the meals take a while to prepare, even the oven-baked omelettes. But, the wait is worth it! The only downsides for me were that my water (my drink of choice) had food floating in it, and that there was an exhausted waitress complaining loudly to the greeter about how they were seating patrons. I’m sure these were anomalies (I haven’t had the chance to return to confirm if these are typical or just one-offs), so we should just assume it was just busy and that my two negative experiences weren’t the norm. The food was delicious and the portions were big, definitely worth the price. I would return if I was in the area again.“
