“A most excellent casual, yet fine dining experience at Sara's Place in quiet and secluded Gates Mills. My wife and I had a much needed date night and we're very pleased with our visit. We sat in the upper lounge & bar area which is moody and atmospheric. The food was also amazing. I highly recommend the regular menu Pork Chop item - get the BBQ sauce on the side as the chop itself it phenomenal without it and I went back and forth using the sauce or not. Highly recommend for a casual night out 👌“

“We got a last minute reservation on a Friday night after a recommendation. We weren’t sure what to expect, and we were VERY happy! I had a delicious classic Paper Plane cocktail and hubby ordered a bottle of red wine. We started with frog legs as an appetizer…lightly fried, and so much garlic and lemon…perfection! I had the chicken pitta, my husband had veal parm (our server Tony suggested it as it would go great with the wine he chose). Both dishes were so plentiful we each took half home. The amount of artichokes and red peppers on my piccata was very generous, they don’t skimp on anything! We ended the night with Affogato and it was also wonderful. Bottom line is the whole experience was great! We can’t wait to be back in Cleveland and come back…don’t miss out.“

“My wife and I drove from Wadsworth, Ohio for a 1st time dining experience Guarino’s today 5/30/26. . It will definitely not be the last. Being a pleasant sunny day, we were seated in their tastefully decorated & tree shaded patio. The freshly baked bread, Chicken Marsala & Braciola with pasta/marinara sauce sides were all excellent. Layla, our waitress, provided outstanding service.“

“Very low key but if you know you know. I caught the chicken parmesean special. The chicken was crispy and help up against the sauce. You also get a salad and bread. Everything was ok but the atmosphere wasn't really welcoming. It kinda reminded me of a scene in Goodfellows and the Sopranos. It looks like you could have easily ran into John Gotti!!“

“First visit this evening with a small group of friends, had 14 different menu items, drinks, apps, pizzas and desserts The staff was attentive and swift, a nice back room to sit and relax with friends. Everything we tried was wonderful, the staff was flexible bring the hot honey for the pizza on the side. All five of us left comfortably stuffed . “I have dined at Alfredo's many times and have always been very happy with the food and the service. Restaurants in hotels are not always wonderful, but Alfredo's is. I came with a group of four ladies one of whom had never been there before. We were all pleased with our meals and with the service. We all had Italian entree and they were delicious.“

“I was visiting Ohio on a church convocation. I was told they was the best so I went. From first entrance felt very much welcome. The owener made spaghetti for me with no hesitation just like I like it witch was off his menu. He didn't have to do that, and might I say it was delicious. I got a small but it was definitely enough for 2 people. On our last night Sunday my dad and l went it wanting to try the pizza and wings. We found that they closed at 8 we
got there around 8:20. But the owner again did his big one. He told the staff to turn the ovens back on and made our order for us. The pizza and wings was a 10/10 for sure. I pray all blessing and love to this establishment cause they went above and beyond twice for my family and I this week. You guys rock“

“Our server, who was also the sommelier, was so knowledgeable and friendly and made our dining experience so much better that we anticipated. We had a wonderful last-minute date night in the bar area at 8:15 on a Saturday. While a bit noisy when we arrived, it quieted down a bit and we enjoyed the atmosphere, our food, and our wine. Very enjoyable experience!“
