“It was Valentine's Day, and City Barbecue was about to close because they didn't have enough food. Wow!My daughter wanted to go there but that wasn't happening. I mentioned Hibachi Express, and she was fine with it.We ordered the food, and it took a while, but it was ok because it gave me and my daughter time to talk.They are usually prompt with the food.My daughter was very pleased with her shrimp and salmon ? and I was good with my chicken and shrimp.“

“Good habachi at great prices. You get great food portions too. There are low wait times and you can call ahead. Wait time is about 10 minutes. I usually just order when I get there as I've had difficulty ordering with the lady that answers the phone, but the young guy is good at taking orders on the phone. Ordering in person seems to work better for me.I've had chicken hibachi and chicken and steak hibachi. Both dishes were good. I order from here about every 10 days, and each time, my food is consistently good. Parking is not an issue as it sits in a small plaza of about 4 units.

“Wow! Some of the best freshest sushi I’ve ever had and I’ve been all over the world so I know fresh sushi when I eat it! Beautiful decor and cozy inside. Great for a date night or dinner with friends as you are right in the heart of the Short North. I dined on a Wednesday night and it was busy! But our server did a fantastic job of checking in with us and updating us on any food or drink delays which is fantastic customer service!! Sushi fans of Akai Hana..You gotta try DOMO.. “This isn't a place I would choose to eat unless I want noise and no tables. The food, however, is better than Gengigo. The meat is fresh tasting, cut against the grain, and not filled with grissel. Served with an egg fried rice, side of cabbage, and 2 sides of sauces. *Please comment for any allergies. They might be able to make suggestions. You can opt not to get the cabbage too. There's a lot of customized choices available. It's a large portion that is filling, flavorful, and healthy. Would highly recommend to most.

There is only one server, though he is superb. Food takes a long time to prepare. So overall you would have to wait a bit longer than in other places.

The place is a bit away from the main street so it's not at the most convenient place. The lighting is a bit dark. On the other hand, it's very quiet, unlike some high-end restaurants nearby.

With all of the above, the most important thing is the food: it's too good so we used this place as our cafeteria during our week-long stay in Columbus!!!
