Her recommendation to try dessert was so convincing that I decided to indulge, even though I typically skip dessert when dining out. Her suggestion was truly delightful.“

“OMG! Best dinner we had so far on our cross country RV trip (week 7 of 9)!! I had salmon & hubby had pork tenderloin. The brussel sprouts were the best! Emma served us & was exceptional! I wish I could have tried yer mojito but the humidity has limited my alcohol consumption. If we lived here we would eat there every week! Thx again for an excellent meal!!“

“Ashley was a wonderful server, extremely accommodating! Her suggestions helped me pair the right drink with my mood and my meal! The food was phenomenal. We shared deviled eggs and steak egg rolls. The eggs were top -tier, and the egg rolls basically melted in our mouths. We ordered the prime rib with mashed potatoes, and our friend had the grilled salmon with orzo. We need boxes. We took home dessert. Coming here was the best decision we made last weekend.“

“We really enjoyed our meals here. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly, tender and great flavor. The wood fired chicken was equally good. We would've preferred the roasted vegetables be a bit more cooked. They were hot but basically still raw. The desserts that came with the 3 course meal were all tasty and generous in size. Would definitely recommend the creme brulee cheesecake... outstanding. The only thing that kept this from 5 stars is the ridiculously cold air conditioning. Our server said she'd talk to the manager about it, but nothing ever changed. The food cooled off very quickly, and we were frozen by the end of the meal.“

(Shout out to Jig for being so attentive and awesome! We returned this weekend for the $19.95 Rib Special they were running for Labor Day Weekend and the food and service were top notch! Firebirds New Albany is a great addition to New Albany and we look forward to being regulars!“

“We are regulars here. The staff are friendly and hard working. Not afraid to have a conversation with you and they will make your order right without issue. They have other locations but we prefer this location based upon the employees we encounter and the food being so on point.“

“Coffee was great. Biscuit and gravy was different. Took a few bites before I determined that I liked it. Atmosphere was fine, a little loud but nice decor. I think I would prefer their lunch menu to breakfast. The salads looked amazing. I hear dinner is great too.“

“I decided to try the kielbasa and pierogies, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The dish came with sauerkraut and sour cream, and all the flavors worked really well together. Everything tasted fresh, filling, and homemade. While we were eating, I noticed several burgers being served to nearby tables, and they looked absolutely delicious too. I'll definitely be back because there are still a few menu items I'd love to try.“

“Have been wanting to try this place forever and finally made it in today with my best friend, what a disappointment. Their posted hours show open till 2:30 pm, we arrived at 1:50 (plenty of time for some pancakes and coffee.) The weight staff was in full on cleanup mode and made it Very obvious they were done working for the day with the way we were greeted. I ordered decaf coffee and was told there was none left so decided to have regular and then didn't even get a full cup of that. At $4.99 a pop I need a full cup. I looked at my friend and said "they don't want to wait on us they are annoyed that they are already cleaning up and we came in" she agreed so when the server came back I politely said "we will just elsewhere we can tell you're cleaning up for the day" There was no "oh you are fine, you still have 40 minutes" or anything like that there just " are you sure?" We left and headed down the street to Delaney's Diner who would also be closing in about an hour at 3 PM but a TOTALLY different vibe. Greeted with a smile from the person at the hostess stand and 2 of the chefs even looked over and smiled and said welcome come on in! We looked at each other and said much better, we are definitely in the right place now. I've heard nothing but good things about the pancakes at the Pancake House I only wish I would have got to experience them But being treated well is more important to me than food. I understand wanting to be done work for the day believe me but it wasn't like we walked in with 3 minutes till closing. Oh well 🤷‍♀️“

“So filling and service with a smile! I love the morning meditation drink. I had thw power wrap and my partner had the Chipotle Steak and Queso Hash both were very flavorful. I substituted, the mixed green salad, with my power wrap, instead of the bowl of fruit and put that in the wrap, and it was amazing.“

“Really enjoyed our Saturday night dinner celebration for 9 of us celebrating my grandson’s UC graduation. From the appetizers to the desserts, the food was outstanding! The short ribs special was very good and we all agreed that the bay scallops and shrimp risotto is an outstanding dish! The entire staff is very friendly and for a busy Saturday night, we enjoyed excellent service! Highly recommend this lovely restaurant in downtown.
