“We had a delightful lunch today at Gallo's, from the moment entering, we were greeted by a Fine Gentleman that discussed our seating options ( Yeah, I'm a bit picky) to the time we departed with full bellies that was topped off with the Belgium Chocolate Mussee cake that was Outstanding!! “Creole and Cajun food fanatic here. I spend a LOT of time in New Orleans and Montréal (a great Creole food city as well.) The gumbo was as good as I've had in a long time- the secret is getting that smoke in there and you did it. My girlfriend had the vegan chili-phenomenal. Nice people and location. “Visited the new 3 Brothers Diner in Powell on Thursday and it was fantastic. Staff was over the top nice and the worst part of the visit was deciding what to order because EVERYTHING looked delicious from the huevos rancheros (which I got and highly recommend) to a plate of nachos that could feed a small army to the breakfast burritos our group ordered they were all fantastic. Topped my huevos off with the best cantarita I've ever had. This is going to become a new regular place to come for sure. Such a varied menu --will take us a long time to try everything. Make sure to try out this new gem in Powell.“

“Stopped in after volleyball at Backyard. I asked if I could get the Reds game on one of the TVs and the bartender, Colton said yes. Some regulars were watching the soccer matches but we found a tv that worked for everyone. I noticed the $4 draft Monday special and asked Colton who confirmed that included Bodhi. I ordered a Bodhi and Colton changed out the keg and let me know that the closer, Ian was coming in soon. Ian came in with a great attitude and kept a welcoming atmosphere in the bar. 5 out of 5 stars. Will be back.“

As some tables emptied, the noise wasn't too bad.“

“Stopped at the market on the way home. Many options available. Prestons burger was good. Very fresh beef. Those cheese frys..... on another level. Just a but of kick in that cheese sauce. Just chicken tenders were also nice. Very large. 2 tenders for 4.50 was not a bad deal. The #8 Bulgogi Bowl - Beef from Seoul on the go was delicious. Huge bar in the middle of the market to grab a drink if you are so inclined. Will be back again to try a few more vendors.“
