The Ginseng Chicken is hearty and warming. Wagyu Xiao Chao Beef and Lazi Chicken are both crowd favorites for good reason. Turns out my 11yo daughter likes Lamb Shank. Who knew? The space is so warm and inviting, there can’t be too many 1940s train car diners living as top shelf Chinese Restaurants. Abundance Culinary is truly in a class of its own.“

“This is our local go to spot for Chinese. We've tried a handful of other places but China Wok is head and shoulders better than anything within a 15 min drive. The girl behind the counter is always super friendly and sweet. The food is always delicious and the portions are always overflowing. The food here is exactly how Chinese American food should be, no need to try anywhere else.“

“I am not from Cleveland. This place is spectacular. There are not enough chinese food places with a full bar, and every time I find one I am so happy. I wandered in, they had a modern jukebox machine playing music (which i enjoyed, people were enjoying themselves). I could order chinese food and order a cocktail. I went on a Saturday night, and it was busy so I waited for maybe 5ish minutes before being attended to. It was loud in here but again people were using the jukebox and having a good time. Worth it. I will absolutely come back here. I was able to eat chinese food at the restaurant counter, have a strong cocktail, and watch my favorite show on my phone all at the same time. What else could I possibly ask for?“

“Haven’t been here in a long time. The taste of the food has improved dramatically. The general tso was fantastic with a good flavor. The chicken fried rice was excellent but hardly any chicken in it. The Kung pao has a fantastic flavor but it is almost all just carrots. There were only three small pieces of green pepper in the whole dish, but loaded with carrots. The chicken lo mein was the only low point. Flavor was kind of bland. The other dishes all had fantastic flavors.“

“I have lived in this area for quite some time and was not aware of this Chinese Restaurant; however, I am glad that I now know of them. I bought two Shrimp Egg Rolls, thinking they would be like the place I used to go to on Libby and Warrensville. To my surprise, I could only eat one and the shrimp were so large and delicious. The sweet and sour chicken is good. This has now become my favorite Chinese restaurant.“

I have the receipt proving I paid for 3 meals and the store - Brandon wouldn’t make it right. He basically said “oh well”, he trusted his employees, I get that but they are human and make mistakes. “This cute little restaurant in Asia Town offers malatang hot pots. The menu is a little confusing at first if you’re new to the dish, but our waiter was incredibly patient and explained everything. I ordered the seafood dry pot and it was amazing. Delicious chunks of fish/fish balls and squid with fresh bok choy, and a choice of noodles (I got the sweet potato noodles), with a slightly spicy and peanuty sauce. I will definitely be back to try some of the other options like tripe or tofu. Great service too and huge portions. Highly recommend!“

“Never knew this place existed but clearly I was in the minority. Was quite busy with people ordering and picking up. Basic Chinese takeout place but the food was very good. Nice variety on the menu with some items you don't usually see. Staff was friendly, prices were competitive. Portions were about what you'd expect. The only real down is the parking. It's a very slim 1-way, 1 lane lot in front of the store front. There does look to be a small open lot to the left of the strip of stores that could be used. When I visited there were mounds of snow and uneven snow in the lot. Very treacherous for someone who isn't sure of foot. Will definitely be visiting again... When the weather is better!“

“I am normally not a quick stop Chinese restaurant place. Typically I like sit down traditional Chinese restaurants. I was coming home from work the other night and I was very hungry and China Gate is right around the corner from me and I figured hey I'll stop I'll order something safe and get my belly full. I have to say I was so pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. I had the a drop wonton soup , potstickers, and their combination chow mein. I was so impressed 2 Days Later after I ate my leftovers LOL. I ordered egg foo young which is a huge test for me because I'm in egg foo young fanatic. Also very delicious. And tonight my new favorite dish from them is Singapore noodles. And their crab rangoon to the side is just amazing. Good job China Gate! I will be a returning customer for years. If I had one piece of feedback it would be a little bit more flavor in your soup broth but other than that everything was fantastic. Also helps that it was extremely affordable versus a traditional sit-down Chinese restaurant.“

“We used to go to Dragon Garden as it was close and really good. Since they closed, we were looking for legit standard Chinese takeout and think we've found it. The Pork Fried Rice and Shrimp Fried Rice were fantastic. They were not stingy at all with the pork or shrimp. The Pork was not fatty either. The Lo Mein noodles were a little overdone, but they loaded it with chicken, so good there too. The Wonton Soup was also great, huge dumplings and had great flavor. The Orange Chicken was also great, and you could actually taste the orange. Egg Rolls were pretty good, same as the Crab Rangoon. Service was great; they were really fast and really kind.

Overall, if you liked Dragon Garden in Northfield Center and are looking for replacement Chinese takeout, please consider this place. We will definitely be going back and they have earned 5/5.“

“China Bay is amazing! Ive ordered lunch and dinner at least 100 times and have never been disappointed. A great menu items is the bone in ribs the sauce is exceptional and they are broiled for a nice smoky flavor. The General Tso meal is good and can order extra spicy if you want, the fried chicken has a nice crunch under the sauce. Also try the donuts they are so fresh and soft. They are open pretty late so its a convenient option for a late meal. Prices are decent you can get a good amount of food and have leftovers and the leftovers freeze well.“
