“The food is very good- we have eaten here several times since they opened. We have tried several things but really love the kale Caesar salad and the pizzas. They may have the best food in Granville and it is a lovely remodel and atmosphere. The service is very slow though and we often see the wait staff just standing around in the back.So just be sure to give yourself extra time and bring your patience. The only other drawback was last night when we were in we had 2 larger parties that were seated before my party of 2 ( even though we were there and on the waitlist first). This caused us to have to wait an extra 10 min and I didn’t really agree with the staff’s reasoning but we still had a very good meal. Just needed a little more patience.Overall I look forward to eating here as it is much better than most any place in town.“
“I really enjoyed the pizza. I was there working out of town so I had no clue what to expect. It is thin crispy crust with a nice crunch. Sauce was really good and tasted great. I was impressed for sure because I'm from Pittsburgh and in my opinion after a lot of travelling Pittsburgh has some of the best pizza places around.I'm in no way a pizza expert but I do love pizza and try local places any time I travel. It's not the best pizza I have ever had but I would stop there again next time I'm in the area for sure.“
“Only thing missing from Pizza Nerds is dine in. The atmosphere, people and PIZZA are out of this world amazing! If you think Pizza Nerds isn’t the pizza spot, you’re “killing me Smalls!” And if you don’t get the reference, you don’t deserve Pizza Nerds pizza. We get the same pizza every time, and sometimes add cookies to our order, because those are also INCREDIBLE, too!!Wheelchair accessibility: The space is wheelchair accessible for pickup. The entrance is zero threshold, but the counter is a little high. There is no space for someone in a wheelchair to sit and wait, as it’s a small pizza spot without a dine in option….as of yet! But you could definitely, without much issue or frustration roll in and pickup your pizza. Honestly, they’re so nice if you let them know you needed accommodations, they’d probably bring it out to your vehicle.“
“Hot fresh and delicious. Always a great experience start to finish. From the ordering (always polite and efficient on the phone and online ordering super easy and convenient) to the pick-up (hot and ready when I'm told it will be and always greeted with smile) to the finished product being totally satisfying. If you want a tasty pizza, a good sub or a fresh salad, Plaza is def one I'd recommend. 100%“
“Pretzel bites seemed a bit bland. Deep fried pepperoni could've cooked a bit longer, was not very crunchy. Bologna sandwich was fantastic with the caramelized onions, tomatoe, lettuce, cheese and mayo. White Cheddar Mac'N'Cheese very flavorful and hot to the last bite. Pizza sub was not horrible, but also seemed bland. Fries were good. First time here, overall a great experience, will be back to test the vast menu!“
“We quite enjoy Elliot’s. The tacos are great but the thing that has always been missing is a hamburger. This time they had a hamburger offering it was called a slab burger and actually very very good. We tried to keep it light and shared one of the burgers and got a portobello appetizer, the portobello appetizer is excellent as always.“
“A fantastic place to enjoy more than just pizza! However I must admit I'm partial to the chicken quesadilla pizza with the addition of pepperoni and Sriracha drizzle. I went today with my son and the waitress was spectacular! I'm saddened I didn't remember her name but she spent more than enough time making him feel special during the meal. Including jokes, special handshakes, individual conversation about his favorite Nintendo games - she was fantastic. That aside Elliot's has a fantastic menu beyond pizza - subs, smash burgers, even a fried rice option! If you're a fan of beer they always rotate their selection so the choices never stagnate. Give it a try I promise you won't be disappointed.Kid-friendliness: Wonderful staff and kids options. I will advise chicken tenders are 'off' the menu but still available to order.Wheelchair accessibility: There's several ramps leading onto the sidewalk to accomodations wheelchairs but the inside of the restaurant has higher than average tables for the majority of it's seating options. However. In the back are 2 or 3 regular height tables that can accommodate wheelchairs.“
“Delicious, consistent pizza. They use a sweet pizza sauce and the cheese is always perfect. I'm not a fan of their sausage but that's ok. Also their bread sticks without cheese are craveable!Parking: The location is downtown Newark. Depending on whether there is a show at the Midland or not you may be walking a few blocks to get to the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is super friendly and clean with a table of simple kid toys as well.“
“Excellent. Such a breath of fresh air to still have non-chain options for pizza. The value here is off the charts. I recommend Carmen's!We need to make it a priority to support these types of places... In this case, their good pizza makes it easy. They earn the support!“
“I walked in and noticed the full bar. So, I decided to settle down and take a seat at a four-top. I was acknowledged by a server who asked if what I would like to drink. After giving he a beer order, she came back a few minutes later with a draft beer on a 24oz glass. The place was busy, so I distracted myself with other things while waiting for the server. About five minutes after, she came up and asked for my order (Crossroads Burger, single, with fresh cut fries). While waiting for my burger she checked for a refill. It was evident there is a strong local atmosphere here, with people greeting each other with hugs. There are a decent number of groups here with families and kids, so that gives me the impression this is a friendly place. I was brought my second beer about eight minutes after placing my order, and also not either the owner or a manager walking around picking up some stray napkins on the floor. After about 20 minutes my order came to the table. I figured if they were going to put their name on a burger, it should be good. It did not disappoint: the burger was smashed, well-reasoned, and juicy (medium), the jalapenos and pepper jack brought the right amount of heat, and the brioche bun was a good base to build on. I had pretty much finished my burger before the server checked in with me about ten minutes later. She was busy and I no complaints, so it's all good. The bar had completely cleared out about thirty minutes from my arrival, but my server asked if I'd like another beer, which I sure did, and I'm going to leave my review at that. Crossroads seems to be a good local place to grab a burger and a beer, and is community-based enough to make it family friendly.I'm going to relax with another beer and suggest you come here to do the same.Parking: Parking was available at the establishment and at tht gravel lot across the street.Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available for the little kids, and there seems to be quite a number of families here with their little ones.“
“So I just moved back to Columbus from Miami, FL after 3.5 years. My husband has been craving the BLT pizza since we moved. We have been back in Ohio 6 days and have had pizza cottage 4 of those nights for dinner from the Powell location. We just stopped in to the Buckeye Lake location to have lunch with my mother in law, everything was great just like at the other location. They were busy, as expected on a Sunday, but still very attentive and the food is TOP TIER.“
“Massey’s is one of my favorite pizzas. I’ve visited many locations around Columbus over the years and the pizza is always the same. It’s not my go to pizza place, but one of my regular stops. Sometimes I just craze a Massey pizza. My favorite part is the corn meal under the crust. It helps the crust cook and adds another texture to the experience. Definitely worth a try if you haven’t already.“
“During our weekend getaway to Newark, from Columbus, we wanted to try a local pizza spot. Bavellies is a small establishment with great customer service. We decided to eat in their dining room. Ordered a small veggie pizza, steak sub, and small salad. The sub was delicious as the bread was really fresh. I enjoyed the thi. crust of the pizza and toppings were fresh. I would visit again if in the area.“
“Definitely not for the donatos crowd. This pizza is saucy and has an incredible thicker buttery crust. It honestly reminds me of how pizza hut pan pizza used to taste in the 80s. It's a very distinctive style and none of the places around newark make a pizza like this.“
“Best pizza in town! I highly recommend the 8 square. I think I could eat this everyday! Employees are always friendly and truly make you feel like they are glad to have you as a customer. I find this rare and very refreshing.Jamison is always so happy and friendly. It is contagious. I can tell he loves his job.“
“They had board games and we definitely played. I lost, of course. :) Amazing food! Delicious potato soup. Amazing salad! Coney dogs were different with a spaghetti style sauce, but we loved them! Rachel was super sweet! Thank you for an amazing little date day for us!“
“This is probably the cleanest food place I have ever walked into! Somehow I missed that they have been in that location almost 6 yrs. Because my first question was did you just get this location it’s so clean! The 2 ladies working were absolutely wonderful very pleasant, I was greeted at my entry and they both were very kind “good cs skills”“
“A promising local pizza joint. Will definitely go back and looking for perfection.1) the pizza had beautiful and plenty of the distribution of and toppings. Crust was a little well done for personal taste. Very delicious pizza and hardy!2) got the 12" meatball sub, I was surprised about a couple things with it, a) the presentation of the sub inside the foil was bad. b) the sub was extremely delicious and filling! The bread was fresh! c) I like picking burnt cheese off the foil and eating it there was a lot that melted off the sub but it stuck to the foil and looked burned, the sub stuck to the foil too on the edges.3) the small side salad was packed full, fresh, and delicious, but no soda crackers which would have made that perfect.Everyone was working very hard, the dining room was clean with picnic tables and a TV to watch game, no ice offered for soda cans. Overall I loved it and will go back and hope for no burnt bread edges or crust. Leftovers were excellent too.The name threw me, I don't know a lake near Alexandria, Ohio?I gave it 5 stars because I'm hopeful!“
“Tried a larg b.l.t. pizza and it was good and had a very fair share of toppings...... So the next day decided to try some wings bone in and bone out the garlic Parm sauce was fire. Potato wedges and cheese bread was fire to..... Oh and got delivered in like 40 minutes food was plenty hot when it arrived!“
“I've been enjoying pizza for decades, and I've encountered some impressive pies along the way. However, Domino's Pizza on 21st Street in Newark, Ohio, takes the cake—or rather, the crust. Their pan, crispy crust sets the stage for an exceptional pizza experience. The tangy and flavorful sauce, combined with gooey, delicious cheese, creates a symphony of taste in every bite. Toppings are consistently fresh and abundant, elevating the overall flavor profile to new heights. While the mushroom pizza holds a special place in my heart, the sausage and mushroom pizza is a close contender. If you're on the hunt for the pinnacle of pizza perfection in town, look no further. Domino's on 21st Street delivers an experience that will leave you craving more with each bite.“
“Sweet guy who helped me out with wings, I was nailing him with questions and after giving in and buying them he came out to tell me he gave me 14 instead of 12 since some were on the small side! He even brought it out and put it in my car. Awesome service and great food. The wings were fantastic I got hot! Awesome pizza and breadsticks. Will be going back!“
“Past 30 yrs I've lived in Pataskala and Glenford , and I'll drive here without any regret. Won't find better prices . The best Italian sub I've ever had . Dressing absolutely amazing. Good variety of ice cold beverages. Have always treated me wonderfully .“
“Wow for a Friday night I can’t believe the incredible service I received tonight. I had 3 pizza delivered to my home that showed up hot like it just came out of the oven the delivery guy showed up 5 min before expected delivery time. He showed up very professional and was super kind and polite. Don and sues the food was amazingly good thank you so much.“
“Love this hole-in-the-wall pizza joint. Consistent quality & friendly. Tried the Stromboli last time we got carryout & have a new favorite thing to order now. One of my favorite flavorful marinaras/dipping sauce I’ve had. Big fan of the homemade slices of pie too. Prices are really inexpensive for what you get. They’re are always busy but worth the wait times they quote (usually 45minutes or so) Small dining area with old school vinyl booths. Have only had carryout a few times, but always consistent & delicious & will keep coming back!“
“Nice place to share a meal with friends/family and catch up with each other. The only thing was that one of their pieces of cooking equipment was broken this night, and it limited the menu. The food we did get was excellent, though. My favorite, the Cheesy Pig, could not be made that night, so I had to branch out and try something new.Parking: Plenty of parking available, including handicap parking.“
“Love dans family pizza subs but they closed down sadly...but found Debbie's pizza and there subs are just like dans...amazing...out with Dan and in with debbie!...update..just had there pizza and it's not bad...thin crust is best in my opinion“
“New restrooms r awsome.Service guy was great!Bring back your other cheese garlic bread. The "new " one is no flavor. Hated the pickle fries. Out ot 8 people..no one atethem. The chicken strips wereembarrassing. So thin and small Not sure we'll eat there again. I'm a big fan of this place..dont change!“
“Creno's Pizza Company is a longtime old-school pizzeria chain. The pepperoni pizza is so good! his is the best spot near SPI Spot. You can always try nicely cooked Pepperoni, pizza salads and blt - a special offer of this pizzeria. Creno's provides food delivery for the convenience of its clients. Classic crust with sweet sauce and toppings that go edge to edge.“
“I've ordered from Slingin' Pizza several times and have never been disappointed! The pies are baked to the perfect crispness and they certainly don't skimp on the toppings. Stop ordering overpriced pizzas from chains and support this place!“
“First time we had their pizza. We were looking for a replacement for Dan's Family Pizza BLT that my wife loves. Everyone has one but not like theirs. I told them when I picked up the pizza, if we like the BLT you have a regular customer. DELICIOUS!!! As good as or better than Dan's. Bummys ruined Dan's BLT pizza. Even the pepperoni pizza was good. Try it. You'll like it. My new favorite!! The girls that were working were nice, engaged, and desired to make you a new regular customer. Great job.“
“Been going here my whole life (40 yrs) my dad used to take me here as a kid and he came here as a kid. Pizza is consistently great and never changes! Thank you Bob for all the years of amazing pies! Brought my kids in today for their first visit and experience and they love it as I knew they would! Please pass this down to your kids when you're ready to hang it up! It's SO good we drive 2 hrs to get it!“
“My family loves the food, but I recently ordered a 16” white pizza ($23), 16” pepperoni pizza ($20) and a stuffed cheesy bread ($12). $55 for two pies and a side. Just can’t do it again. It’s way too expensive for pizza. We decided to make our own from now on. I love to cook anyway.“
