“Went at 4-4:30 to beat the crowd. Hubby and I have tried 3 times to go, but it's been next to impossible to park or they were closed. They now have a stop light on the top of the building to show if there are open table (green) or no seats (red); pretty cool! We had the reuben and the hawaiian swine (shaved ham, Swiss and pineapple). The reuben was average. The ham sandwich was really good, but could have used a condiment/sauce. It wasnt dry or anything, just a thought. I like it though. There are 2 sandwiches on the plate. And they arent slider size, so I had a spare for the next day. Portion sizes are good. Onion rings were good, but mine seemed a big greasy, which is contrary to what I've heard about them, so maybe a flukeParking: It's a strange layout and the entrance is close to the corner, look ahead before turning in and check the Stop light to make sure there are tables or expect to wait“
“The Local is by far one of the best Pubs in the Heath and Newark area Mitch and staff are friendly and welcoming.the beer is cold and plentiful...be sure to mention me ... probably won't do you any good but hey you tried....but be sure to stop by if you are in the neighborhood.“
“This place is an experience in itself. It's feels like you're back in the 50's and. 60's. It's so cute. You get a daily Newark newsletter. There is a large menu with lots of yum to choose from. Their French Onion soup was amazing! My friend got the steak and loved it. The service is excellent, the food is affordable and delicious.“
“We stopped in on a Sunday evening after 8:30 pm. We passed several restaurants that were already closed so we were hoping Champs was open. We were relieved as we approached and saw a couple dozen cars in the parking lot. We've always ordered pizza and we love their pizza, but tonight we were in the mood for something different.We ordered the Fish & Chips and the Asian pecan salad. We split both meals and had plenty of food. Service was really fast and friendly. We were very impressed with the Fish & Chips, it was hot, perfect amount of batter and very crispy. The fries were also crispy, just the way I like them. We were very impressed with the Asian pecan salad, huge portion with the perfect amount of toppings, very tasty. We now have a reason to go to Champs when we're in the mood for something other than their fabulous pizza.“
“I really enjoy visiting Copper Penny..But on the last visit, which was on annual GDO (girls day out on the lake), the staff did not seem very organized. I ordered the bone-in wings; they tasted good but were a little overdone.Parking: Boat parking too!“
“Want to relax and enjoy your night with no riffraff and just good friendly people then you should stop by here. Cold brew and shots with a pool table. Cant really ask for more but this place offers more. This upcoming Saturday 7/31/21 they will be hosting a 90s party with 90s music. The staff themselves are wonderful people. I had the pleasure of meeting Allie(1st vist) and Dovie(2nd visit) and both of these women are a joy to be around. Very personable and fun. The cleanliness of this establishment is beyond what u expected. No cigarette butts all over or trash. Very clean and professional place but also able to relax and feel like you're at a buddies place for beers. Kudos to Dovie and Allie who really make the experience worth while. “Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere in a small town in Ohio! The boneless wings I had for lunch were good without any sauce. Our server was nice and served our drinks in an efficient manner. The server who delivered our food was kind and handed it to us and we enjoyed it.“
“Menu is "eh". My husband loves it but everything is fried. I know it's bar food but I'm left feeling like sh*t usually lol. Their beer selection is huge which was awesome and they had some hard-to-find-beers which we thought was cool. There is a jukebox and lots of TVs making this a great game-day spot.“
