“We had no idea what this place was like, I googled a place with good Tiramisu and Jimmy's showed up. They were incredibly friendly on the phone when i ordered. When we arrived to pick it up, my husband and i stopped in our tracks. This place is huge, with display cases FULL of every Italian dessert, cookie, pastry, biscotti, i could go on and on. Then you arrive at the displays of meat, cheese, pasta, etc. All the staff was so welcoming and friendly especially the young lady who waited on us.In the car we immediately tried a bite of one of the 6 extra desserts we purchased! Magical. Delicious. Period.“

“This is the second time was charged tax on take out orders. After first time it was with meal. Was told they didn’t want to make 2 separate bills. Second time it was only call in take out order. No explanation given. Might not seem like much but being on limited income every cent counts.“
“i’ve never had a bad meal at Station Square!!!! this trip we got the filet a la oscar and the twin king filet. we started with the calamari, 10/10, both the marinara and thai chili sauce were delicious and the calamari cooked perfectly. he rated his wedding soup a 10/10 and said it might be the best he’s ever had. our steaks were cooked perfectly and we loved the béchamel sauce. our server Sydney was so nice and attentive. we are already looking forward to our next visit!“
“Stopped here for dinner with a friend on the way back from a road trip. It was a very pleasant surprise. The waiter and hostess were very friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, and most importantly the food was great. We had the olives and the mussels as an appetizer and the linguini with clams and carbonara for entrees. The carbonara was exceptional, full of flavor but not the usual goopiness you find at many places. Also the tiramisu for dessert was great. Everything was also very reasonably priced, including a decent bottle of wine. Highly recommend!“

“I am so in love with Uptown, for lunch! I work in Boardman & this place is an great go to for lunch. We usually order from Uptown because the food is delicious, convenient & quick. Now, let me speak on the one who's been taking my orders, as of late... Timeaka is phenomenal! She's friendly, repeats everything back for no mistakes & ALWAYS has a great smile on her face.My only issue is the menu change; they no longer carry just fried mushrooms. It's now a fried veggie basket. (The fried mushrooms were what first had me come here.) It's fine, though. The fried veggies are okay.“

I have only been there about 6 times but each time I have I have not been disappointed. “The stuffed jalapeno shrimp appetizer is delicious with a kick and the dipping sauce has a sweetness that brings it all together. The bruschetta is yummy as well, so much topping, it's almost too much! I enjoyed the sausage gnocchi. The sausage was full of flavor and their traditional red sauce is fantastic. The sauce is thick and flavorful and combined the whole dish. My date had the penne with meat sauce and sausage link and enjoyed it as well.Our server was fun, energetic and helpful! “We live within 5 minutes of this restaurant but never think of going here, that won't be the case any longer! This place is a true family owned, family ran restaurant. The place is small, probably holds 40 people but it is nicely decorated and clean. The portions are huge, so big that I only ate half of my meal which rarely happens. So let's start from the beginning....The bread was very fresh and delicious. The salads were fresh and crisp while the dressings were flavorful. I ate my son's coleslaw, it was delicious, crisp and had a little sweetness to it. I ordered the Nonni's Chicken, spaghetti topped with sauce, greens, breaded chicken and a Hungarian hot pepper. The chicken was very tender and the greens were on par! I highly recommend this dish, did I mention how generous the portion was? The wife hade spicy chicken Alfredo and my son had shrimp Alfredo, both really enjoyed their meals. You could tell that the sauce was made to order and was very creamy. I am not sure how we have neglected to patronize the place for so long but I believe that will change moving forward. Go visit them and support a true family owned business.“

“I was not expecting to find Jersey level integrity at an Italian Deli in Ohio. Bravo!What do I mean by this? Well, on my first visit to Jimmy's, hanging right on the front door was a very good sign. Actually, it was a sad sign that announced escarole was not available at the moment, and Jimmy's was compelled to use frozen chopped spinach for their famous greens. 1) That's some incredible transparency right there. Did I say "Bravo!" because, Bravo!2) It show's that Jimmy's understands this is a serious enough issue for its clientele to post the information before you even enter the doors. Salud!But I came here as a pit stop on a road trip, and I would not be deterred. I strolled up to the sandwich counter, and got the pollo diavolo brick, and asked them to add some of those greens into the mix. Even with frozen chopped spinach, that extra 50 cents was money well spent. Bellissimo!My travel companion got the meatball sub and was very happy. We haven't found meatballs like this in the midwest. They may not have been Providence level meatballs, but that's a very high bar indeed. It happened to be an unseasonably warm day, so we took our sandwiches and sat in the sun on a stone bench by the parking lot. The outdoor dining patio was sensibly closed for the season. After the sandwich, we were compelled to venture back inside to check out the pastry case. The lobster tail was properly enormous, and could have easily been split by a family of four. What I already know for sure is that is going to be a regular spot for us when driving across Ohio, and I look forward to many happy returns.“

That's all the money I had on me and I said I'll just give her the whole thing because not only did she deserve it but I remember when I use to wait tables and be soooo thankful and grateful that someone tipped me 20 because sometimes people don't tip at all. “I enjoyed this restaurant immensely. I had the Chicken Fettucine Alfredo with a salad and a large bread roll I also had an unsweetened iced tea. The server was very attentive and the food was very good. The Chicken Fettucine was good with just about the right amount of white alfredo sauce, not too much or too little. I ordered unsweetened iced tea and when I mentioned I would sweeten it to my taste she asked which sweetener I preferred and provide that to me. She also kept the iced tea topped off for most of the meal. The bread is a well made white bread boule.It is a very nice and cozy restaurant. I was on travel visiting my son who lives in a group home nearby and went in without a reservation and was seated immediately. I have favorite restaurants in cities across the country, to include Washington, DC, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, San Diego, Denver, Los Angeles, Berkeley, San Jose, San Francisco, Phoenix and many other cities. Although, this may not be the most trendy restaurant in any of those cities, the service and the food would place it well within the standard of restaurants in most of those cities.It is an Italian restaurant. They may want to expand their menu to include some non-Italian food choices and include food allergy free food choices such as gluten free and a selection of vegetarian and other food types. This doesn't have to be an extremely large part of the menu. The salad was good but I prefer my lettuce to not be as cut up as it was. The dressing was put on the side which permitted me to put on how much dressing as I desired. I am getting older and eat smaller portions so the server provide me with everything I needed to save the left over Chicken Fettucine Alfredo and the bread.This is likely the best restaurant in the Sharon, Hermitage and Farrell area.“
“The Golden Dawn on Youngstown’s North side is a true bucket list place to visit & eat. The Dawn is a staple of Youngstown restaurants, family owned and operated since the 1960’s. My Grandfather brought me here as a child & I have continued to dine here for 50 years. The walls are adorned with the local Youngstown high school & college memorial. Your seating options are at the bar/bar stool, table or booth. The staff here were the “uniform” of white button down shirt, black tie & apron. They are always wonderfully friendly & welcoming. They always check on you as you dine. Your coffee or beverage will always be topped off and anything you need, just ask, they will get it for you with a smile. They have a proper breakfast menu, classic comfort food for sure. The lunch menu is equally awesome. Looking for a good fish dinner on Friday?? Look no farther! The bar at the Dawn is fully stocked with classic beers & liquors. You can still get a scooner of beer here!! There are a few TV’s, so you can definitely enjoy the game there. I absolutely love the Golden Dawn, I promise that you will too.“

Both dishes were served promptly and very well prepared. Our server, Cassie W, was very pleasant, competent, and professional as are all members of the wait staff that I have dealt with. I tried a dinner this evening for the first time and it led to a teachable moment….The dinner was excellent but I unfortunately didn’t get to finish it all. I substituted my salad with a bowl of wedding soup. I expected a small cup (coffee mug size), but instead got a giant bowl (dinner plate next to it for reference)Much larger portions than expected on everything.
