“The Hasty Tasty is my favorite breakfast spot in Dayton, hands down. The vibes? Immaculate. The food? It tastes like drunk philosophy and well earned hangovers. It tastes like bacon and eggs while my grandma smokes Pall Malls and argues with the next booth. It tastes like college homework. It tastes like snow days when my kids were little and we were broke but wanted to make it special. It is a Time Machine to the best parts of your life in the shape of a building. “Decent breakfast place. Prices are higher but the food is worth it. Slightly higher quality than your average diner. Some of the older generation may not care for it as there is a modern spin on some breakfast staples. But overall it's good food.“

“The definition of what greasy spoon diner should be. A variety of selections spanning breakfast, lunch, and dinner all available 24/7. And if they aren't open, you best be in a storm shelter because it's a dangerous day for humanity in the area.

Eggs and hash browns, just always spot on. Get the hash browns topped with what ever you wish as well. I also suggest, extra crispy.

The T-Bone is a good breakfast steak or add on if you just want some beef. It's not steak house quality, but it does the trick for breakfast or as an add on to some other dish.

Grilled chicken is always flavorful. Sometimes it can be a bit overcooked and dry, but when cooked perfectly you get a crisp outside and juicy inside with a nice flavor profile from seasoning. Get it toppee with grilled onions and add a touch of Tabasco.

And the chili varies in consistency, but each time it still has a satisfying flavor profile. Especially when you add Tabasco and Worcestershire.

Thankful for this place since they are always open when all else is closed.“

“Went to the Waffle House on Dayton Yellowsprings Rd in Fairborn, OH. my husband and I walk in and the 2 servers and the cook are sitting at the lower counters. We are told that they are waiting for the next shift to show up and then we would be helped. Sat at a table... that's dirty... because none of them are clean. Another employee walks in... chats with the 3 that were there and walks by our table and asks if we have been served yet, we tell him no and he returns to the other 3 still sitting. After a few more minutes, we left. The cook ends up chasing us out the parking lot telling us he's the cook and he's happy to serve us. Didn't seem like that was the case the whole time we were sitting inside. We chose to go to the Waffle House on the other side of town and got great food and great service. We've decided that we won't be back to Waffle House on Dayton Yellowsprings Rd.“
