Kevin made it easy, picking the menu, delivering the food and setting it up. “Had lunch on their first full day back after 4th of July weekend. They were busy and a little behind. The pretzels were amazing!!! The ahi tuna tacos were perfectly prepared. Unfortunately, the burger, which was ordered medium, was way overcooked. Service was friendly. If not for the nearly burnt burger, the place would have gotten a perfect 5 stars!“

“Visiting from Maryland, and read good reviews about Danspot. Glad we came. Dinner was fantastic. I had the Shrimp Piccatta, and my wife had Pipette pesto pasta with chicken. Both were outstanding. And our server Jake, was wonderful. Friendly and attentive. If you're in the area of the MGM Northfield, be sure to stop at Danspot. You will be glad you did.“

“Love this place. Only have come for lunch, but I have never been disappointed with anything I have gotten here. I mainly get from the appetizer list since the main food portions are more than I can eat at lunch I got the small Caesar salad with bacon and egg, absolutely delicious. The mushroom ravioli with goat cheese sauce and tomatoes was so very satisfying, perfectly seasoned, and just the right amount of acidity. My husband almost always gets the crab cake sandwich with the house made potato chips and peppercorn dip. One day I’m going to have to try it ( fair warning it’s a big sandwich) ended the meal with the bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. Warm and slightly sweet caramel sauce and a burst of cinnamon rounded out the meal“

“We held a wedding rehearsal dinner there on June 27th. It was a party of 16 in The Porch area. Our waiter, Neil, was extraordinary, the food and drink was exceptional. My only regret is that we live 10 hours away so going back and sampling all the other menu choices is problematic. Highly recommend!“

The friendly staff, the ambiance, the food, and the general vibe were great. They’re clearly well liked in the area because a lot of people were there and seemed to know the staff well! I had a simple dinner of wings and fries and they were delicious. The waitress/bartender (I forgot to catch her name) made sure I was doing okay every chance she got, no matter how much other stuff was going on. If I’m in the area again, I’d definitely come back!“

“Food is good - when they are open. Saturday at 2:30 they were already closed. If business is slow or they are shorthanded, they close. Hours are never reliable. Call first. PS - not trans-gender friendly. I know someone who was told that they can’t use the bathroom there.“

“Normally I don't do reviews for a salad and soup lunch, however this place is worth mentioning.

So Clean, so clean. I was here before the dinner rush and after lunch. They were cleaning the chair legs and benches! The bathroom was immaculate!

The food I ordered probably did not do the place justice, come check it out for yourself. The clam chowder was very yummy in the picture I took.

If I were to recommend one thing, I say go for the onion rings! Fresh, hot, crunchy and not greasy at all. It's definitely a place we will be coming back to.“

“Went with my In-laws this past Friday. The parking was awkward making it difficult to exit to the front of the building. The food, drinks and service were top notch. However, I thought the 3% up charge for using a credit card vs cash to pay the bill was a bit petty due to the already inflated menu prices. This left me wondering; why the owner thought it was more important to cover their $5 cost at the expense of me returning again?“

We also had the chicken Marcela...flavorful
Dessert was the Bread pudding...did not disappoint.

“Good Food and Service at this Rocknes. The menu is always the same and it doesn't change. No Daily Specials or Happy Hour Deals. The staff does a great job, friendly and professional. It would be nice to see some New Items added to the menu for a change!“

“We just live down the street and have been going here for years. Had a bad experiance with over cooked burgers earlier in the summer and quit going. Today we decided to give it another try and we are glad we did. Our burgers were cooked to perfection and huge, very juicy and tasty. The value is the best I've seen anywhere we've been lately. Definately will be back soon. The young man who waited on us was super also, very polite and fast!“

“Anything I've ever tried off the menu here has been delicious. They have specials for each day and I recommend trying the special of the day. Also they make great drinks ! I recommend the Jamaican Mule, I get it every time, it's delicious. Food wise you can't go wrong. The owner throws down in the kitchen, especially with the seafood and burgers. Talk about good seasoning, everything's seasoned delightfully. My favorites so far are the Shrimp Quesadillas (Tuesday is quesadilla day) , their Summit Lake fries and every Friday is fish Friday with a great deal on yellow tailed perch fried to perfection. This place is tastier than any sit down restaurant in the area trust me. 10/10“

“We have been coming to Hot Grillz Diner since we saw it on New Day Cleveland (way before the pandemic). Karen and crew are awesome and the food is fabulous. Two of the new BIG Bangin Burgers, loaded mashed potatos(extra scallions) and a thing of mozzy sticks got me another 300 miles without stopping. “We went to the one in Kent;
I like it's arrangement better than the one in Stow.
My husband had a Spinach Salad, with a Chicken breast added.
I had a Southwest Salad.
The tortilla chips were markedly rancid; you could smell and taste it.
When I told the waitstaff, she said she would tell the manager.
Good customer service would have been for the manager to have come to our table to speak with us; and for there to have been an adjustment on the bill.
That didn't happen.“

“I had my high school reunion in the private room that overlooks the Cuyahoga River. Everyone loved socializing on the balcony. The appetizers were delicious - chicken sliders, calamari and the cauliflower. The buffet was fantastic, I received many compliments on the beautiful salad, chicken and sirloin. Bri and Brian were amazing servers and very personable. I enjoyed working with Jessica and Jessica in organizing my event. I highly recommend!“
