“If you like takeout Mac’s doesn’t disappoint. I am a creature of habit and I always get the chicken Cobb salad. It’s fresh and delicious. The chicken is moist and it’s loaded with all the toppings. Diced tomatoes, boiled eggs, bacon, and cheese. So yummy. My hubby always get a supreme pizza and iIs always perfect. Chewey crust and loaded. Everything is always consistently perfect. Great place, good prices.“

“Half Day cafe is an incredible place to eat! I was in town visiting my sister, when she took me here! Our waiter was incredible and made my day with her bright charismatic personality! I ordered pancakes and bacon, and my sister ordered an omelette. Everything tasted AMAZING!!! I highly recommend, and they have plenty of options if you are vegetarian (like my sister)! The manager was also a big help, on the busy weekend, he seemed to be doing a lot, great job! 11/10 place, and I might come down and extra visit, just to eat here again!“

“I think we caught them on an “off night”. We've been here three times this summer...always been happy with everything. Last night, the steaks didn't taste as great as before. Our server became extremely busy with a large group, and we had to flag down another server in order to get dessert served....took a very long time. If dessert had not been included in the three-course meal, we would've just asked for the check and left. It just didn't seem as “together” as it had in the past and it was a disappointment.“

ALWAYS try the broth first before adding anything to it as a sign of respect for the chef. The broth is the key for any good Pho and this was amazing!“

“I had the moo goo gai pan (or however it is spelled) and it was delicious. I used to get it from a Chinese Restaurant down the street from my house, but this was much better. It came with choice of fried or steamed rice; I got the fried rice and the crab rangoons. All of it was amazing. If I am looking for a clean restaurant with friendly service and great food, this is the place!“

“Well, first and foremost the place was packed when we arrived. Service was quick and responsive. The decor had a unique feel Sort of a blend of new and old, I dig it I found it welcoming just my take. Waiter was cool. I thought the food was excellent, pricing was fair. “We followed our favorite dolsot bowl chef from Downtown restaurants up to Mason. we had the burrito and dumplings for appetizers with sake. The burrito was soooo good. Owner actually waited on us and service was great. all four of us each got Stone bowls and they were all amazing! and my son got a noodle dish which we loved as well. I had a really good Chardonnay and my husband loved the corn tea.. we will definitely be back again because we had a wonderful experience in the food was awesome! beautiful Ambiance as well“

Due to a systems problem, she couldn't do this, nor could they accept my gift card in payment for my meal. (Not a problem) When my friend and I paid and prepared to leave, the hostess gave me a First Watch gift card "to make up for the inconvenience". These folks know how to do Customer Service. Lots of beers on tap and a large bar for cocktails. We have had graduation parties, birthday celebrations and many enjoyable conversations here. What I look forward to every year is their support each October for Breast Cancer Awareness and Fundraising. As a survivor, I am grateful for this effort. They do it for other fundraising needs as well. Silver Spring House is a little bit vacation and a lot of bit family!“
