“We had dinner at the downtown location this evening to celebrate my son’s graduation from the military, and leaving to report to his first assignment. From the time we were seated, to the time we left, several staff members came over to shake his hand and thank him for his service, even the General Manager. We always receive exceptional care from any Jeff Ruby’s establishment, but are so grateful to our amazing server Peter along with all of the other staff who took the time to make our family feel so special. “We decided to make a reservation about 4 hours before just for a date night with my husband. Food was amazing as always. Tentative waitstaff and what I loved most was that we were not rushed. This only unfortunate part was we were too full after bread, drinks, wine, lobster bisque and steak with yummy sides to have dessert. LOL“

While leaving the airport I Googled restaurants close by . There were several to choose from however, we decided on Pig Candy BBQ this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was amazing ( we had the special which was the brisket sandwich) this sandwich was very tender and full of flavor. “Chat GPT had directed us here on Saturday the 4th. The food was great! My son and I each had the Salmon with Sweet Potato fries. We had both flown in from 2 different states for a couple of attractions. After the Salmon we finished off a huge slice of Carrot Cake. The best I have ever had. “I was in town and Agave & Rye was recommended to me. I stopped in on 9/10/22 talked with Emma the hostess and explained I was having a few friends to stop by not sure how many between five and ten. She accommodated me at the high rise table back by the windows which was perfect for my nine guest. “I’ve been coming here for a couple years. It is a gem of a place. You cannot find better food for this price downtown or anywhere else in general. Every member of the team there is very friendly and has nailed customer service. Today I was inspired to write this review because I saw the chef making some French toast. He was treating the motions with so much care, attention, and grace, it was like watching an artist at work. It is clear the people here take pride in their work, and you can taste it. I love reading these reviews that complain about how expensive it is, yet they sell out within the hour on many items on the weekend. We come into town from DC to visit family and this is one spot I never miss. The pain au chocolat is fantastic and all the other wildly creative concoctions are a great way to experience different flavors with traditional pastry styles. Best bakery I've ever been to and I don't even like pastries and this kind of thing in the morning. I like bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns. I'll obviously leave the complaint about parking to the city, not the bakery.“

“The BEST veggie burger i have ever had in my entire life. I’m an outsider and am here in Cinci visiting family. I was a little weary coming to a beef joint as I can’t eat red meat due to chemotherapy. (Ironic, I know). The owners went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure that they were able to segregate my burger from the red meat and clean the grill to the best of their ability. I did not have a reaction other than “when can I come back!”. The house made ranch and ketchup were so tasty, I’d almost be willing to sneak it on the plane to come home with me. I 10/10 recommend this place.“

“Mia was excellent. Great service and food. We had reservations on a Sunday at 1130. When we arrived, the restaurant was basically empty. We were seated - four adults looking to enjoy each other's company. Approximately 15 minutes after we sat down, the hostess sat a large party that included 5 toddlers. The noise level went through the ceiling. the entire restaurant was empty - or nearly so. What inspired the staff to sit this noisy bunch near us? We had just started eating making requesting a move very inconvenient to us.“

“Benson Paige is a pup who has lived in a shelter for a whole year. Today is his last day on earth since he is being humanely euthanized tomorrow. A foster took him out and spent some time at Bloc, so benson got to finally cuddle up on a couch. He finally got to eat a whole plate of eggs, a plate of bacon and experience the good life- something he never got to experience before. Stevie the lead barista was incredibly kind and compassionate over the phone with me while I tried to coordinate getting benson a special treat and helped me make sure the foster & benson were taken care of and that he got to experience love.
