“I’ve been coming here for a couple years. It is a gem of a place. You cannot find better food for this price downtown or anywhere else in general. Every member of the team there is very friendly and has nailed customer service. Today I was inspired to write this review because I saw the chef making some French toast. He was treating the motions with so much care, attention, and grace, it was like watching an artist at work. It is clear the people here take pride in their work, and you can taste it. Cincinnati is lucky to have this place!“

From the time we were seated, to the time we left, several staff members came over to shake his hand and thank him for his service, even the General Manager. We always receive exceptional care from any Jeff Ruby’s establishment, but are so grateful to our amazing server Peter along with all of the other staff who took the time to make our family feel so special. While we went at noon, the music and decor were as relaxing as an evening or even late- night event. Our server Simeon was professional and committed to make our meal a memorable one. At our request, he described different dishes, telling us what he recommended and what to expect. He was attentive without hovering. The food was as outstanding as was the service. “I've enjoyed this place for years Service is great and I like that you can tweak the dishes a bit, like adding extra meat or noodles (or both).

I usually get the chicken katsu or tonkotsu ramen, but I'm also down with their donburi. They have a nice selection of sake, other wines, cocktails and beer, including from Japan.

The atmosphere is perfect for friendly dining conversations with soft music playing in the background.“

“I was in town and Agave & Rye was recommended to me. I stopped in on 9/10/22 talked with Emma the hostess and explained I was having a few friends to stop by not sure how many between five and ten. She accommodated me at the high rise table back by the windows which was perfect for my nine guest. Sarah was our excellent server, she continually checked in on us even thou I saw her working outside as well. Our drinks were awesome and our food was really good. Next time I am in town I will definitely return here.“

“Had a wonderful experience at Brown Bear Bakery. The rhubarb bun was absolutely excellent — I love rhubarb and this was one of the best pastries I’ve had in a long time. Perfect balance of tart and sweet with a soft, fresh texture.

The everything bagel croissant was also fantastic and such a creative combination. Flaky, buttery, savory, and packed with flavor. Everything we tried tasted fresh and thoughtfully made.

“Benson Paige is a pup who has lived in a shelter for a whole year. Today is his last day on earth since he is being humanely euthanized tomorrow. A foster took him out and spent some time at Bloc, so benson got to finally cuddle up on a couch. He finally got to eat a whole plate of eggs, a plate of bacon and experience the good life- something he never got to experience before. Stevie the lead barista was incredibly kind and compassionate over the phone with me while I tried to coordinate getting benson a special treat and helped me make sure the foster & benson were taken care of and that he got to experience love. There are no words to describe my gratitude to them and thank them for providing a place for benson to be safe and loved. ❤️❤️❤️ can not recommend them enough for their customer service“

“Sake Bomb is a great little Asian Restaurant/Sushi Bar in Erlanger. We've been here a few times but it had been quite a while. They have quite a lot Asian dishes but on this occasion we focused exclusively on the Sushi. Among the one's we had were the Sunday Morning (my personal favourite), fire scallop, and the firecracker among others. They are all visually appealing and absolutely delicious. The chef really took a lot of care crafting flavours into every bite. I really can't recommend their Sushi highly enough. Also I know I mentioned this in earlier reviews but the restaurant looks so magnificent and really authentic to Japanese culture. The seating is very close quarters so I must mention that as it might be off-putting to some. All in all the Sushi was excellent, the service was good, and the place looked awesome. Fantastic experience.“
