“The best place to stay while in the area. This was our second time staying at the Red Fern. We stayed in the Kelly's Island room, which was appropriate since we were headed to Kelly's Island the next day. The room was immaculately clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are decorated nicely with a nautical theme. The Inn was an elementary school, and they did a great job of converting it into an inn. It's very roomy and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. You are close to the shops and restaurants in Marblehead, and probably the best thing is the lower half is a winery. Also, the Kelly's Island ferry is located about 5 minutes away. Forgot to mention, you get a complimentary bottle of wine with your stay.”

“Spent the night at the Red Fern Inn, and we had to check out the winery. The main part of the winery is not used in the summer. Instead, they have a patio area behind the main building. The outdoor seating area is roomy, and there is a stage set up for entertainment. They have a nice selection of wines, both dry and sweet, along with a selection of non Rocky Point wines. It was "Taco Tuesday" night, so we also ordered both chicken and beef tacos. They came out fast. They were served with onion, salsa, and jalapeño. Complimentary chips were also provided. Tacos were tasty. This was a relaxing and enjoyable visit.”

“This is my favorite go to spot it’s delicious and clean and staff is friendly. The only thing I would change is that they’d open up another store in vermilion/amherst so we could enjoy it more often. I feel like it would thrive this way considering there’s no other froyo near by! Might be something to look into.”

“Truly disappointed ☹️- got the most expensive item on the menu - lobster and grits - it was very salty and the grits were not southern grits - they were bland - I’m used to having the dark gravy (made with coffee). Don’t good chefs taste their food - and I couldn’t enjoy any taste of the lobster! Waited so long to go there- wasted a very expensive meal!!”

Wheelchair accessibility: Tight turn to get a W-chair in the doors, would recommend a W-chail enter the door that faces the drive through next door.”

“Loved this place! The staff were all friendly, the vibe is chill, and the food was phenomenal!

For any fellow vegans, our waitress, Kai double checked with one of the managers/owners and the Veggie Ramen is vegan! It's so worth it, and the spicy sauce they have on the table really made the ramen shine, if you like things to have a little spice. The only other vegan option in the menu is the edamame appetizer.
My partner got the spicy ramen with pork belly and he said it was delicious as well!

Kai was wonderful! Very friendly, accommodating, and checked on us the perfect amount.
