She was kind and efficient. She always checked our table and took the time for a little conversation. She is an excellent waitress. We will definitely go back.“

“This restaurant is an essential breakfast stop for me when I'm in SE Ohio. The food is prepared with care and the view of the Ohio river is lovely. My friends and I enjoyed it much more than eating at a chain restaurant. We skipped the free breakfast at our hotel in Zanesville and rode almost 2 hours to go to the Riverview. We did the same thing the next day. Staff members are very friendly. One even helped us plan a motorcycle ride in West Virginia when she saw us checking out a map. In spite of its location adjacent to the Sisterville ferry, the unprepossessing exterior of the place is an effective deterrent to stopping in for a meal. That and a lack of welcoming signage means visitors to the area will pass by, unaware of the charm of the place.“
