Haven’t even finished my food and I just have to take a minute and say how freaking delicious EVERYTHING at Tacos Veloz in Milford is. OMG 🤤🤤🤤 I ordered the “parilla hay mama” and it comes with 4 tacos in double corn tortillas (skipped those) with cilantro and onions. I got al pastor. They give you a couple lime wedges, some radishes and even a small cheese quesadilla. You also get a side or super fresh rice and beans with a strip of queso fresco. OMG this is so good lol 😂 Nice size chips and salsa. Those were kind of basic but it’s just because the actaul food is amazing! Also ordered a chili relleno and it was really good.“

“I had dinner here last weekend and honestly, everything was phenomenal. The heirloom tomato salad was refreshing on a summer evening. Their cod was tender, and the accompanying chimichurri sauce was divine that I could've slurped it. If you love bananas, you must order the banana bliss for dessert.

Now on to the not so good, which was unfortunate, as the service overall from everyone was friendly. However, the evening was nearly ruined by the waiter who had an extremely offensive body odor. I understand that while serving, you may work up a sweat. But if you're larger, you have to take extra measures (besides a soapy shower), such as wearing an undershirt, anti-perspirant, and men's body powder.

I won't let that deter me and will definitely visit again because Alara is truly a wonderful restaurant with a beautiful aesthetic and food to match.“

“Food is generally really good but not always consistently made the same way. I do like that they have very healthy options. The service is generally very good with the exception of an occasional impatient person but I feel like that can be at any restaurant. Atmosphere is a little less than comfortable but I think that's just my personal opinion. Overall, one of my quick healthy options that I prefer.“

“Wow, where do I begin? I was there for lunch, and the garage doors were open which created a great atmosphere. The food was flat out amazing and so flavorful. The wings were also on point. I would not typically order wings from a taco joint, but after being advised they're great, we tried them and I can't disagree! Magnificent. And the sauce they serve is far from a conventional wing sauce, but it's delicious! I highly recommend this place in every aspect. Oh, and the staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and punctual. “We are from out of town and decided on pizza. After looking at yelp stars we decided to come here. Everything was great and the service was amazing. My five year old ask him for ranch and after we were done he packed up our pizza and we left. Got back to our hotel and he threw in extra ranch for her. “Staff was very friendly. We built our own bowls and everything was so fresh. I love this place. The quac and salsa were both great. Everything was well over average. They will give grilled chicken nuggets to my Son who has food allergies so that he too can enjoy and I don't have to make multiple food stops. This is beyond appreciated. Highly recommend to all!!“

Its success cannot be denied, but surf any Reddit thread or Facebook thread discussing Cincinnati pizza, and you’ll find a particular disdain for our hometown pizzeria, with most negative comments saying it’s overrated, the sauce is too sweet, or it smells of feet/vomit. Yes really. Our other regional chain with some notoriety is Dewey’s, a more “upscale” style pizza joint that appeals to hipsters and families. The seasonal Tito Santana taco pizza is a revelation. Dewey’s also has its detractors citing price as the main complaint. More recently, their two locations are in the suburbs of Anderson Township and in the always-happening Over the Rhine area in the urban basin. Lucy Blue’s menu skews more toward Dewey’s than Gramma’s. Just two pages featuring standard pizzas and expected toppings, fresh salads, a few sandwiches including the requisite steak hoagie and a few appetizers. Missing is the litany of fried items that crowd Angilo’s and Grammas menus. The focus here is on freshness and simplicity. And fresh is what you get. In spades. Every item we’ve tried has been fresh and high quality. The crust is bready and structurally sound. The sauce is fresh and tomatoey. The cheese has a bite and pull that you’d expect from higher quality pizza kitchens. Toppings like pepperoni, sausage, and veggies all seem high quality and tasty. The steak hoagie is much better than the sloppy, buttery messes you get at most places. The meat was tasty and the toppings were crisp and plentiful. The breadsticks were very good. They were short but heavy and flavorful, and the sauce accompanying them was chunky and flavorful. There is a tiny spicy bite to everything, including the delicious ranch dressing. Overall, Lucy Blue is an excellent option among Cincinnati’s many pizza spots. The food is fresh and tasty.“

“I ordered the Angus beef hamburger & it was one of the best I’ve had in Cincinnati & definitely the best that I have had at that price point. I liked the way they had the pickles & Dijon mustard on the side, I used both & the pickles seemed homemade. My side was coleslaw & that was delish as well. I ordered online for pickup & even though they had a lot of cars in the drive through, my order was made quickly. I definitely recommend!!“
