We can get better food at Longhorn, for 1/3 of the cost. Money wasn’t the issue. Food and Atmosphere were just okay for the money. Service was by far the BEST. THX FERNANDO.”

“I cannot recommend Porchlight enough! I have become a frequent flyer— no seriously— twice a dad visits. I love the convenience of their online ordering in the morning and their great cafe space for lunch. There is no wrong answer when it comes to their variety of flavors for your lattes. Truly a skillfully crafted coffee menu along with flavor-packed food options. My absolute favorite menu item is their harvest Cobb salad. I CAN’T GET ENOUGH! Dried cranberries, grilled chicken, feta (I think), walnuts, topped with the to-die-for maple vinaigrette on a bed of lettuce. Seriously, there is NO reason NOT to go to Porchlight. Cheers!”

“I will be honest, I haven’t eaten there yet but just had the greatest experience that restored my faith in humanity just a little bit. I was in the Akron area for training with TNVC and I assume my iPad was stolen. Today it pinged at someone’s house and then it pinged in the parking lot of the Basement a few hours after I locked it and left a message for the would be thief. I called and spoke with Stephanie, and after explaining what had happened she was king enough to walk to the parking lot while I pinged it. The thief had dumped my iPad in the dumpster, thankfully not too deep. I just wanted to say that Stephanie was amazing for being such a good person and helping someone with no expectation of receiving anything in return. Next time my family and I are in the Akron/waterloo area I will make sure I patronize The Basement if only to help repay a bit of the kindness shown! This is how a neighborhood restaurant does it!”

“Chef Gina did an amazing job with our wedding cake and desserts! She took the vision I had for our cake and turned it into a reality. She was incredibly helpful and patient thru the process of deciding on flavors for our cupcakes — and they were all absolutely delicious. Our guests raved about the entire dessert table. The macarons and the cupcakes were by far everyone’s favorite! We would highly recommend Gina for all your dessert needs.”

“Y'know, the older I get,the more of a pizza snob I'm becoming. A really good sausage pizza was becoming ridiculously hard to find. Until.today. I can remember my older bro and his wife ordering from Regina's when I was a kid 50 years ago. There's a reason they're a legend. This pizza was outstanding. Wonderful, soft crust, great amount of sauce and sausage that was cooked to perfection. Jojos had a peculiar smoke taste, like baked potatoes cooked over a campfire. Fantastic food. “The best thing about VB isn’t the food… which is delicious! It’s by far the customer service. I often grab breakfast after the gym and interact with Collin (I hope that’s his name)He goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. He’s kind and funny and the perfect person to greet you at 7am! Don’t get me wrong, everyone is great but Collin really takes the pancake😂👌🏿! Try the bird and Belgian dipped in Nashville hot sauce with maple bourbon butter and come back and thank me later!”

“I really like their coffee, 🥯 and the people are always really nice. love supporting local but the down side is the drive thru takes a really long time. like if there is 3 cars ahead of you plan about 25 to 30 mins of wait. During the work week I unfortunately cannot go hear because of that I have to drive to another area and get Starbucks. I hope they fix this it is a really nice place.”

“We love Alexandris in Wadsworth and have been going here for many years. The food and service have always been exceptional. Today we had lunch and added on their Chicken Dumpling soup. I want to tell you that it was the best I have ever had. So much so that we took home a half gallon and had it for dinner as well.”

“My two daughters, grand daughter and I went to DeJuan's on Saturday 4/27/24 for my birthday dinner. Our reservation was at 8pm. First time going there. We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was delightful. I had the shrimp scampi and daughters had salmon. This is definitely on our list of favorites. We had a pleasant surprise, we had to wait a little bit longer for our food due to other big parties (no big deal to us), however the management came to our booth and apologized for the slight delay and took care of the whole bill for the night. We did not have to pay a dime. WOW!. We have been to other restaurants but never received such pleasant service. On top of such wonderful gesture, I was given a signature glass as a birthday gift. KUDOS to Erica, Tracy and our server Navel (i hope i spelled it right). We thank you sincerely for making our day. We will definitely come back again.”
