“We've been regulars at Peony for at least 3 years now. Several neighbors and friends recommended the restaurant when we moved here and despite driving by a few times, it took us over a year to finally stop for a meal. (Admittedly, the place doesn't look like much from the outside, it's in a strip mall right off of the 16.) HOWEVER, the food blew us away. At this point, we've probably ordered a good portion of the menu, but we definitely have favorites. The Christmas roll (fantastic sushi every time we're there btw) is my go to and I love the cabbage salad that is brought to the table first. The beef bulgogi is another family favorite. We like to go for a light sushi lunch most of the time, but we've been there for dinners plenty of times too. Friday and Saturday nights can randomly be very busy, but most of the time, you're seated immediately. Heads up that the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays - we've forgotten plenty of times and been disappointed when we arrived.“

“I have lived in many states and this is hands down the best I have had since I left California 20 years ago. Nothing else in Ohio holds a candle to this place. I see a bunch of people trashing this place. Just ignore the Angry Karen's, They'll never be happy people. Hunan Pork is totally awesome if you enjoy a little heat and the low mein is also top notch. Can't wait to try more of the menu.“
“Food is good, and there's a very good choice. Service is adequate, but don't expect a smile from any server. The atmosphere is not bad.Vegetarian options: They have a good choice of vegetables and vegetable dishes on the buffet.“

“I enjoy their food, i've never had any problems with the service or lately I don't even dine in I just carry out so that's the only reason I gave it a three-star for atmospheres because I haven't really been in the atmosphere enough to give a adequate rating.Kid-friendliness: It's definitely a place you want to go if you have a big family. All you can eat I believe it's $10.99 or something like that I'm not sure if kids eat free it's been a while since my boys have been the age to eat free.“

“Food was available. Rice tasted uncooked and the noodles had more cabbage than pasta. However the protein was very tasty. The packaged sweet and sour for the egg rolls do not taste good. Dunk in something else. I liked the chicken egg rolls.“

“as a chinese american alum from denison, this place was #my second home. so hear me out.precovid (2016-2019 dine-in, take out review)i think this is probably the best you can get in a college town of thats so white and so far away from everything.you gotta be strategic when ordering because i've been here so many times, so many. yet i haven't tried the whole menu.chinese cuisine isn't general tso, "lo-mein", or crab rangoon. so getting that for myself is an insult to my chinese roots.but i give dragon village props because they are AGAIN tailoring to another ethnicity that has a very warp perception of chinese food.i recommend the egg and shrimp, mapo tofu, scallion beef, FRIED DUMPLINGS; not boiled, with the sauce on the side, and their yang chow fried rice.their beef and CHINESE broccoli is also really good.my recommendations are probably the safest and most delicious food on the menu/"secret not so secret menu" FOR more experienced mouths.i want to come back when i'm back in ohio to give them some love and anything for nostalgia.pictures are from 2016-2019.“

“The egg rolls are very good, best ive had. Husband got house fried rice and I got vegetable fried rice. I loved mine but my husband said he missed the egg being in it and there wasnt much meat in the carton except just on top. Enough for two meals for us.Vegetarian options: I had the vegetable fried rice and it was very yummy. I noticed that they even offer General Tsos made with tofu, Im definitely gonna try that next time.Parking: there were about 4 spots open when I picked up our food, Saturday about 4:45pm.“

“My two daughters and I did an art class and it got out late. We stopped here about 45 minutes before closing for dinner. They were super kind and accommodating, and the food was absolutely delicious! They had zero issue seating us, taking our order, and making sure our needs were met, even being near closing.“
