“They are amazing! As someone who tries to limit my sugar consumption, it meant so much to me that they had sugar free coffee syrups. My boyfriend and I’s coffees were great and we appreciated that they had oat and almond milk options.We got the banana bread and cinnamon bread, both were perfectly sweet and moist. They had just made some fresh croissants, and the everything croissant sounded amazing. It exceeded our expectations and was one of the most amazing things we have ever eaten.The staff is so sweet. “Hands down my new favorite bakery, plus everything is vegan! (but you’d never know when eating it). I’ve never had a bad experience here - the service is always prompt and personable, the treats are delicious and their cupcake/cake designs are the cutest around!As someone who has sensitivities to dairy, it’s awesome to have dairy-free desserts that are just as good, if not better, than their alternatives. My partner and I stop here whenever we get a chance. They are only (usually) open Friday-Sunday, so plan accordingly, but you won’t regret stopping in.“

“The cake was gorgeous and perfect looking! I had a specific design that they perfected and I could not have asked for a better looking cake! The service was also amazing! The lady I was working with was so sweet and kind, I really wanted to love the cake. Unfortunately the cake did not taste good. It was dry and hard on the bottom layer. I also paid extra for cassata flavor and there were barely any strawberries or custard inside. It’s the most I’ve ever spent on a cake ($145) but also the worst tasting cake I’ve ever had. It was really disappointing since it was very expensive and looked so amazing but it was very important that the design on the cake was perfect and a lot of bakeries told me they couldn’t do the design idea -so I just accepted it. Ultimately I would give them another chance, they have great reviews and good service, but it just wasn’t a great tasting cake for my family gathering.“

The staff was friendly but didn't ask if I wanted my head sliced, I attribute this to them being busy though - there was a line out the door at 9am on a Thursday so get there early! Small seating area and coffee with oat milk offered.“

“What a great experience this is! Some background: I have never been to Cleveland, but i came to visit my BESTIE! She picks me up from the airport and the FIRST place we go is here! She told me we are going to a really cool coffee place. If she says it is...IT IS! And that was an understatement. The atmosphere calls for sitting here FOR HOURS (if i lived here, we would have!). They have books, games, art on the wall. AND THEY HAVE COFFEE!!! Normally, you might say coffee is coffee, but i now call it the Roasted Exception! As soon as we walked in, we were given STELLAR service by this wonderful red-headed (did not know her name) barista. She was friendly, helpful, and quite knowledgeable (and she laughed at my jokes too, which should give her a Nobel for kindness). My first stop in Cleveland was here, where we went to a back room, which had the most charming furniture. I was in such a state of elation being here and the coffee. Although i had the normal drip with cream; it was truly some of the smoothest that i have had. Did not need to re-make what they made for me. My BFF had the decaf oatmilk latte with chocolate, seemingly exceeding her expectations too. We had a great time here and enjoyed the tradition of "doing coffee". I recommend Roasted Lakewood wholeheartedly and would be here all the time if i lived here!! Oh, and bring a BFF like mine too just to enhance the experience!“

“Ordered donuts for an event and picked them up this morning and they are fantastic. The dough is so soft and light and while you can smell the sugar the taste is just perfect and it isn't too overpowering. They have perfected the donut.“

“This place continues to stand out in a city with a lot of great bakeries. Always the same two folks in there and they are on it. Sparkling clean, super friendly, with really interesting options in addition to bakery classics. The pepperoni rolls, whose name does not do it justice, are easily one of the best savory pastries I've ever had. I think if I was going to the firing squad my last meal would be one of their cardamom knots. Also worth noting they have some cool high end grocery (like Mama Lils peppers!)“

“Wow, this place was amazing! I found this place close to my hotel and I couldn't be happier. The strudel was on a different level. I stopped in early and think I may have been her first customer. She was so nice and welcoming! It was co to see her and her mother working on the pastries and her son was helping out too. Obviously an amazing family business. After showing me her process, I decided to go with a half apple and a half cheese. She warned me not to close the box as it just came out of the box and it would soften the flaky layers. I did exactly as told and ate on the strudel for 3 days. Eating strudel warm and fresh out of the oven was a religious experience. So flaky and light. Both flavors were outstanding! I absolutely enjoyed my strudel along with my visit. This place is highly recommended!“

“Best shaved ice I've ever had in my life. The buns are all soft and fluffy and comforting. I had the egg and turkey buns, the green onion bun and the mango tart, while taking a few bites of my friend's taiwanese shaved ice. I've been back a good probably 8 or so times since I began writing this review a couple months ago, and I can't stay away. Every time I go I grab a handful of warm, chewy buns and the taiwanese shaved ice with mango, strawberry, and mango jelly. The service is always quick, even when there is the occasional line to the door, and the buns are self service so you can just grab as many as you'd like and check out! I can not possibly recommend the shaved ice enough, in my opinion it easily beats out ice cream as the most refreshing summer snack.“

She snapped at me that I need to wait. So we left because what in the world?We came to K&K market. They immediately said “Hi! “I last came to Larder years ago back in 2018 or so and getting the Tuesday lunch special - $5 Chicken Sandwiches. I remember it being the best fried chicken sandwich I had ever had in my life - huge juicy thigh meat covered in a crunchy doubled fried exterior. Since then, Larder has been winning awards left and right. Since we were visiting Cleveland, I was so excited to visit Larder again and get their delicious sandwich. Unfortunately we came on a bad day - the previous night, a severe thunderstorm had knocked out the fryer and vents and Larder had to remove all of their fried items from the menu. They also were having oven troubles, so they ended up opening 30 minutes late. We got there over 30 minutes before they opened and a line of people started forming already. Pastrami Reuben ($18) - This is not your typical pastrami; this is thick, 1 cm cut savory salty pastrami, cut kind of like corned beef. The bark is still attached which is soft in some portions but crisp in others. ??? skome flavor??The meat is super tender and easy to eat. There's a thin layer of flavorful fat in some areas. There's cabbage slaw added on the bottom which adds a nice tang to balance out the fatty and meat of the pastrami. Thousand island spread on the top and bottom slices of bread adds additional moisture and sweetness. Everything is placed in the middle of two perfectly toasted slices of rye. Babka ($9) - Absolutely chock full of chocolate, the bread is pretty dense and rich. Pieces of crumbs easily flake off when you're eating this. There's some cinnamon mixed with the chocolate. If I'm ever back in town, I would get the chicken sandwich for the nostalgia.“

“Luna has delicious and high quality food. From sweet crepes and desserts to savory sandwiches. It is an awesome breakfast/brunch/lunch spot that always hits the spot. Bob, the owner came out to talk to our group about the bakery and he was really nice. Found out that the bakery is named after his dog and the local artwork is nice to see.
