“Food is tasty at a great price. it's a very welcoming restaurant with good service. That said we got four dishes and a soup: (1) the tuna salad was excellent (although the menu says it contain cucumbers and it did not), (2) the pasta Santa Fe was quite good but could have used a few more vegetables for the price, (3) the tortellini Florentine soup was OUTSTANDING! (4) the Italian sub was WORLD CLASS! (5) and the meatballs were fresh and flavorful but toooo salty.“

“A most excellent casual, yet fine dining experience at Sara's Place in quiet and secluded Gates Mills. My wife and I had a much needed date night and we're very pleased with our visit. We sat in the upper lounge & bar area which is moody and atmospheric. The food was also amazing. I highly recommend the regular menu Pork Chop item - get the BBQ sauce on the side as the chop itself it phenomenal without it and I went back and forth using the sauce or not. Highly recommend for a casual night out 👌“

“We stopped for dinner while going through town. Our server, Alexis, was amazing. We had the absolute best shrimp alfredo we’ve ever had. We got to speak to the owner before we left. He was so personable and explained how they make their products all fresh. We will definitely be back!“

You can taste the difference in every bite -- from the perfect dough crust to the rich, flavorful sauce and the freshest toppings I've ever had. They clearly use only the best ingredients, and it shows. What really sets them apart is the passion of the staff. You can tell they truly love what they do -- every interaction feels warm, genuine, and full of pride for their craft. They even gave the children a behind-the-scenes tour, which was such a fun and unique experience! The children loved being able to make their own pizza. “I haven’t had authentic Italian food in too long. Our salad dressing was to die die! The zucchini appetizer was divine and the dipping sauces perfect. Our main courses were perfect and to top it all of there was warm bread and olive oil with herbs to dip it in. Highly recommend!“

“It was horrible! Service was bad. Food was boring. Tiny pizzettes not too bad but not worth the money. The skewers were just 3 chunks of meat with no veggies. Just unflavored meat skewers presented on an empty plate. They brought out one item at a time so the first orders got cold while waiting for the others. Way overpriced for what you get. Way too much furniture crammed into a tiny space. People brushing past you to try to get through. So very disappointing. Not at all like the photos.“

Executive Chef Landon and his incredible Executive Sous Chef, Joe, presented our family with one of the most memorable and perfectly executed dinners we’ve had. Since we couldn’t decide between the options, we shared everything, and we’re so glad we did. The stone crab claws and lamb lollipops were an outstanding start. For entrées, my husband chose the bone‑in ribeye while I had the lobster ricotta agnolotti with black truffle. Both were exceptional. We ended the night by sharing the Luxardo cheesecake and the champagne‑poached pears, which were the perfect finish. The champagne and wine we were suggested were spot‑on, though the wine pairing would have been a great choice as well. The management team, with Mark and Ryan leading the ship that night, made the evening seamless, and our bartender, Michael, was an absolute professional. truly, everyone there is fantastic. Chef Landon once shared a quote with us from Oscar Wilde: “To the strangers that become friends and those friends become family.” That sentiment perfectly captures what we love most about every experience here.
