“Honestly I left a bad review due to terrible customer service at first however, they fixed the order and offered me a free dinner box the second time around. They were very apologetic and honestly think it was just a mistake. I personally like their pizza and this was the first time I had a mistake, I’m glad they fixed it so my review is good!

“I will be honest, I haven’t eaten there yet but just had the greatest experience that restored my faith in humanity just a little bit. I was in the Akron area for training with TNVC and I assume my iPad was stolen. Today it pinged at someone’s house and then it pinged in the parking lot of the Basement a few hours after I locked it and left a message for the would be thief. I called and spoke with Stephanie, and after explaining what had happened she was king enough to walk to the parking lot while I pinged it. The thief had dumped my iPad in the dumpster, thankfully not too deep. I just wanted to say that Stephanie was amazing for being such a good person and helping someone with no expectation of receiving anything in return. Next time my family and I are in the Akron/waterloo area I will make sure I patronize The Basement if only to help repay a bit of the kindness shown! This is how a neighborhood restaurant does it!“

“First experience wasn’t good with the AI order system, but the restaurant apologized for the error and sent a coupon so I gave them another try. The food is delicious!!! The hot honey pizza (no pepperoni please) is unbelievably good! The garlic sticks- yummm! Caprese Salad- fresh and delish! The delivery driver was prompt and courteous as well.
