“I am giving 5 stars because historically, I have had minimal issues & I don't like to complain when I haven't had the opportunity to give a fair review of my previous experiences & I LOVE WH Chicken above all of the other Barberton joints.. But, I will say the last 2 times I've ordered from this location, the quality seems different. Last time the week of Xmas, I was missing Cole Slaw.. And I noticed the mashed potatoes used to be flavorful and a little tangy aftertaste which was wonderful pre-covid era But, now there is just something different about them that I can't figure out. This time I'm not sure if the fryer oil needs changed or the tenders were cooked too long But, there is a bitter taste similar to a mild burnt flavor or oil that needs to be changed. Years of going and I've never had issues until recently. The Cole Slaw & Hot Rice are as delicious as ever and save the day, regardless!! Maybe I just caught them on an off night so, I'm sure we will be back.. But, driving from Akron to get an occasional chicken fix when the family asks what I want to pickup for dinner might not be my first choice anymore. I hope your team is able to power through and rise above whatever the reasons (staffing, cost of goods, etc.) behind these situations is & get back to the great quality & consistency that I've grown to love over the years.“
“This was delicious home cooked chicken - I had to wait a bit but I didn't mind because they seem to make every order from scratch. I had the mashed potatoes and cole slaw as sides. They also threw in some fries because of the wait and offered to deliver the whole thing when it was ready to my car. Great service, very friendly. No dining room or anything - everything is to go. Will be back!“
“Ordered 3 meals via uber eats. Was told they where out of chicken sandwiches so they sub a strip meal for one of our meals. But dang! The 3 piece chicken meals is super crunchy goodness and the sides where spot on...just wished I could have tried the sandwich....maybe next time....I will be back.“
“speedy service, accurate orders kindness of employees greetings and thank yous I use to go to another KFC then I tried this place. 3rd time in stopped in drive thru had atleast 10 cars infront of me cause I was stuck on 224 waiting to get into driveway lol. i was in and out under 8 minutes. I couldn't believe it. same thing my 2nd and 3rd time at this one. this place has it right. the know what they doing. and do it well. they need to train the other stores.“
“l have been chasing the first high of KFC for far too long and can't seem to catch it. I have had enough and from this day forward, I reject KFC, I vow to keep driving by even when the strong urge to turn up in there comes over me. I'm not wasting my money again on pretty much horrible chicken IMO and with ALWAYS broken bone in the wing drumette. ?“
“Food: Very classic southern cooking, the chicken is spicy and delicious, the cajun fries complement the chicken well and the Mac & Cheese is very tasty. The food reminds me of my mother's cooking tbh! The wings are smaller than I would've liked. Service: A tad on the slow side and needed to request for cups, but they seemed to have something going that was slowing them down. Nice character tbh. Atmosphere: Wonderful character and design. Definitely coming back!“
