“We were in Geneva Ohio for a Junior Olympic swim meet and we ate lunch there. I do t do reviews ever but this place was outstanding! The simplest meals were extra special, better than expected!!! I wish I could go back there again and again but it is far away from where I live! Go there to eat and you WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!“

“Where do I start ? Came for dinner Wednesday night and then came for dinner Thursday again. That should say something . I’m beyond impressed by the Staff and the establishment, it beyond exceeded my expectations. We have a lot of fine dining in the Poconos region with some higher end restaurants and this place exceeded them. The quality of the food is superior. Take a look at some of the pics of the food we ordered. Ended up meeting Sean the head chef and impressed how he runs his kitchen , everything goes with the flow . Make sure you make a reservation :) we ended up not making one and we got seated over looking the kitchen and it was the best place. You see all the action. Can’t wait to come back from Poconos. “I was visiting my friends in Painesville and they insisted on my last day that we have breakfast at a place they called “FATS.” We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in the door. Roy was our server, and he told us that he was retiring that day and we were his first table. Roy is a national treasure, for sure!! Breakfast was phenomenal. I tried my bestie’s biscuits and chorizo gravy, which was spicy and had amazing flavor! I ate as much as I could of the generous portion of my tasty meal and the hospitality was exceptional. “1st time there. Read a lot of good reviews about Sammy’s. Had spaghetti and meatballs. Yes, spaghetti and smeatballs on a Friday! Came with soup and salad and garlic toast which was very good also. Very very busy. Waitresses were husselling at a fast pace but all were very nice and kind and kept a smile on their faces!!! Also took a piece of key lime pie home for later. ? mmmmm soooo good! It’s a smaller mom and pop place, well worth the visit! I definitely will be going back there. ??“

“We were on our way home from Cape Cod and stopped for the night in Madison. We are happy we did because it lead us to Flagship for dinner and it did not disappoint. For dinner we had the Baked Crab Dip, Roasted Chicken, and Pumpkin Cheesecake. All delicious. We haven’t had chicken that delicious since we were in France. Just amazing food and service.“

“Spats is my kinda place. The first time I visited Spats, I saw a neon beer sign in the window and figured I’d grab a beer while I was waiting for my gf to finish her shopping. I was instantly met with the dive-bar/hole in the wall vibe. Spats did not disappoint! If that’s not what you’re looking for, you might try the dining area instead of the bar area, which has at least 10 TVs, so I assume it’s also a nice sports bar.

So I told my gf that we should come back sometime when we want to hang out. We did! There aren’t many vegetarian options, but you can get typical bar food, plus an extensive lunch/dinner menu. I tried the fried mushrooms. They were delicious! I see why some ppl don’t like the fries, but they were perfect for me. They were not greasy or cooked in recycled oil like some idiots claimed in their reviews. But yes, they’re typical of real potato fries: soft and limp, just the way I like them. But they were also a little bland. Nothing a little salt couldn’t fix. I also had the fried shrimp, which was fine. Cole slaw was OK. My gf liked her chicken salad. Portions are HUGE. I’ll be back to try other items on the menu. I’m giving it 5 stars to offset the idiots who gave it one. But overall, it’s probably 4.5 stars.“

“My boyrfriend and I were up super early before work the other day and were both craving some diner type breakfast. This was the only place open nearby and after having our breakfast, I'm glad it was! The inside is cute and filled with older collectibles of different kinds along the walls. The woman who was running around taking care of everyone was incredibly sweet and attentive (and I give her major props for moving as fast as she did given how early it still was!) Coffee kept pouring all through breakfast & the food was so good! I got the small breakfast plate with eggs, corned beef, homestyle potatoes and toast and my boyfriend got the large breakfast plate with eggs, sausage, and pancakes and one of the sausage and gravy biscuits. It was all SO good!! Definitely the highlight for us was the sausage and gravy biscuits though! Overall, a fantastic lil place to start the morning off at & we'll definitely be coming back!“

But food...y'all be here for the food! So good! Hubs and I ordered the Famous Fried Pickles for an app and they were amazing! Long quartered spears of dill pickle goodness! The ranch and ketchup were fantastic dippers... and yall if you get the chips go ahead and undignify yourselves and slap them chips in the ketchup! Hubs had the grilled walleye, with rice and beans. I had the lobster bisque and Maine lobster roll!! Yes yes yes! Delicious! Tasted so good! Soft roll, yummy lobster! Slam yo mouth good! The walleye was tender and cooked to perfection! The balls of dough with cinnamon butter before the meal were a nice surprise of flavor as well! The decor inside and out makes it homey, tacky (which we LOVE) and welcoming! As for atmosphere, resturant 10 out of 10! Now the other customers, the lady behind me sang off key til her all she could eat crab legs appeared. The couple behind hubby found that a seafood place smelled like seafood (which it didnt, you are eating beside Lake Erie inlet so.... hmmmm), one of his oysters had to be shucked by the chef because he couldnt get it with his teeth, the wife's tea didnt feel very tea-ish, and overall I wouldnt have wanted to be their eating companions for the day as my enthusiasm for -- well everything, may have sent them in a tailspin! This was a clean, pleasant meal at an equally pleasant place on the water and some people werent made for it! Anyway, try it. Go! Eat, come back to thank me about the ketchup LOL!!“
