7 Best Chinese Restaurants near Prospect

“5 stars is ONLY for the 2 AMAZING and hardest working waitresses we have ever come across out of every Restaurant we have been to. Fast and always interacting with customers! HUGE PLUS! The Korean waitress always made sure her customers received their food and drinks quickly (was advised they have only 1 cook whom is also the owner). The other waitress, very kind and funny, seemed to be doing several different restaurant duties such as, besides waitress, Bartender, Hostess, Bussing tables AND we witnessed her answering phone calls which we assumed were their "to go" orders. Is that even possible or right for a restaurant to make an employee do?! We went on a Thursday about 7 weeks ago and it wasn't busy at first. But about 6 pm, the bar was full, the entire dining room was full. They ONLY had 2 wait staff members! Was let known by some other regulars there that the older Asian lady and as we found out, her daughter was the other waitress are the only ones doing all the hard work! I know for a fact on weekends they become extremely packed and busy, to the point there isn't any parking available. This does not seem very fair for the ladies. Not sure why their are not more staff but owner needs to realize that her staff, particularly het waitressing staff, are the ones making her money. Food is excellent as always, Pepsi seemed flat. “Drove an hour to visit a local tattoo shop, walking out the smell of the food drew us to try Joy’s… DEST DECISION EVER! The food was exactly what I look for in Chinese food! It’s hard to find a place around that reminds me of what I ate when I was younger. Needless to say, I looked at my husband 3 bites in and told him any time he wants Chinese food, we can drive the hour there. 10/10 on both food and service. The cashier was so awesome and had an amazing sense of humor! The owner was there and was absolutely wonderful!“

“Fresh and delicious! We love the chicken with broccoli and cashew chicken. We’ve ordered multiple times and have yet to be disappointed.

The woman working the register is kind and helpful. One time we ate in restaurant and she suggested our son play with some of their toys her son had outgrown.“

“They are a good Asian Buffet. The price is as reasonable as you can expect. We eat there fairly often, so I have seen times when they are having problems and unable to keep up with demand. If I am patient, they will usually get around to refilling empty steam trays. There are certain times to avoid, like when they first open because you get reheated leftovers and sometimes, they seem to throttle the shrimp output when they have a lot of customers for dinner time. That's just occasionally. If you eat at any restaurant a few times a year, your bound to catch them at bad times. But, overall, it's pretty good and I 'll keep going back.“
