“I did go here but I did not buy anything, I know the owner and I went in to talk to her and vist a friend who was eating there. The food is pretty good though. My wife cooks and I usually eat at home except on my wife's off day.Parking: Plenty of parking“
“Came from Urbana Ohio on a random day trip and found this place on Google. The river view was amazing and the food was so good! The three layer chocolate cake was divine! Will definitely keep this on our list for the future? perfect mom and pop vibes with an upscale atmosphere“
“Everything!!! The atmosphere is just adorable & cozy and there’s no way to go wrong with your ordering. It’s all absolutely delicious. The Chef has an impeccable palate. Everything I’ve been fortunate enough to try has been so well balanced. My mouth waters just talking about it. It’s certainly understandable why they sell out before the days end so often.“
“My husband and I found this place while driving around and all I can say is give them a try! We don't drink but they seemed to have a lot of options, and the food was spectacular! I got a chicken wrap and they made me a salad too even though it wasn't on their menu. My husband got a double burger but tore into it before we got a picture, but I can confirm it's MASSIVE and delicious!I fully recommend stopping here if you can!“
“My wife and I were driving to Indiana to watch Monday's eclipse, and we decided to stop for an early dinner. We decided to stop at deSha's Restaurant on US 68 in Maysville, Kentucky. We had looked at the menus of upcoming restaurants, and that one caught my eye. A very welcoming hostess showed us to our table. It is a very warm, comfortable dining room, with brick walls, large exposed beams above your head, and a huge fireplace.Being in Kentucky, my wife ordered a shot of Woodfore Reserve Rye, and I ordered Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. My wife, who is a bit of a bourbon and whisky connoisseur said the Rye was so smooth, and she definately picked up the woody fruity caramel-y notes. As for the ale, it had a real caramel flavor and was excellent, even at 8.2% ABV. For starters we had Coconut Chicken. We expected wlamm pieces, but we're served 4 entre-sized pieces. The chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked, and the coconut breading was very delicate. For dinner we both had the pan-seared salmon, served with rice. We both selected sautéed whole mushrooms as a side. The salmon was luscious. A nice "crust" on the outside hid tender salmon. Mushrooms were a bit on the salty side, but the juice left after finishing them helped the rice. All in all it was a very nice dinner. We will be coming through here again, as we have good friends in eastern Indiana, so we will be back. Definately a place to try.“
“Out for a ride and wanted a bite, great little dinner. Hometown feel and great food, old 45’s on the walls and classic 50s & 60’s music. Will definitely stop back in when passing through town on our next outing.Parking: Cobblestone street with public parking.“
“Excellent! Ordered the brisket and pulled pork along with fries and shew-fly salad. Everything was delicious. The portions were perfect size, not too big not to small, the smoke flavor was just right (we don’t like it strong). Homemade BBQ sauce was fantastic. Restaurant was clean, staff friendly, gotta give this place a try! And, can’t forget the pickle fries were incredible!“
“I stopped by while visiting from Tampa, FL. A hidden gem in downtown Maysville! Incredible owners who show passion through their community service and dedication! Excellent food, and great drinks! Bourbon galore! You won’t be disappointed!“
“This visit was actually a carry out order & the young lady on the phone was so nice. I had lots of questions due to picky kids, she not only answered but gave me suggestions. We had only been for breakfast in the past, which is good, but the country ham dinner was amazing this time.“
“We use to live in Maysville 44 years ago. We had a pleasant surprise and some one paid for our breakfast. We do not know who paid for our meal and I believe they knew us. People really to change alot in 44 years and know one man looked familiar. I noticed one man kept looking at us. He did not stop at our table to speak to us.“
“Outdoors and a dora district destination. On the Ohio River with an excellent river view. Food is ok and service excellent. Lots of boat traffic since it was Labor Day Saturday. Been here many times because it is In walking distance and convenient.“
