“Only place in town open on Christmas night waited 2 hours for my food but the wait was worth it. It was a busy night for them but they definitely kept pushing order our with a positive attitude. While it was a long wait all of us waiting on food cheered, laugh, and kept a positive vibe. Merry Christmas“

“My wife and I love the food! We typically have soup (she gets wonton, I get hot and sour), egg rolls, and dumplings and all are served nice and hot! We order shrimp lo mein and shrimp fried rice, and both are truly flavorful! The service is quite speedy and the server is very sweet. We heartily recommend China City for Chinese food in Kent.“

“We have always enjoyed the quality of the food and how quickly they get our order ready for pick up. I have to say that for the most part, the food is always good but our order yesterday was the best we have ever had. Joey (owner) was working which I have not seen in quite some time. I live in Florida full time now but whenever i come back to Ohio we get Lucky Star. I hope Joey will be more involved at the restaurant again because our food was absolutely amazing!! Tofu & Veggies & seafood always fresh under $8 like its pre covid so you can order multi entrees (avoid meat anywhere now) I do blot out the oil & add sriracha but thats all chinese/fast food.
