“We went around 1:30pm on March7th. Food was very good. Had wine and cocktails. Service was outstanding. Female server and she was probably the best server I have ever had. I would only recommend that there were more appetizers. Bread was outstanding as well as the croissants. Vegetarian dishes were very good as well as the Broccoli melt. They have a unique menu of tasty food, along with a great selection of drinks and cocktails. If you have never been, definitely put it on your list, you won't be regretful in the slightest! If you need a pick me up, try the single origin espresso.“

The decor and how relaxing it is so worth it. Some of the art on the wall is for sale and by local artists, so it is always changing. Done with your coffee adventures? Get up and take a little walk by the Hangars just a couple of blocks away or grab a bite at Amba. I now worry I won't find a spot to sit the next time I visit...“

“My wife and I have been getting coffee about twice a week at Revive since soon after it opened two years ago. The decor along with the gloss epoxy floors give the shop a relaxing and clean look. It's the only coffee shop that I've ever patronized that my white chocolate mocha tastes exactly the same every time. I also don't know of any other coffee shop where the owner makes your coffee. The owner Sarah always has several flavored coffees every day and those are my wife's favorite. Our community is lucky to have a family owned cafe like this.“

“It's hard to beat locally roasted coffee brewed and served by staff who know what they're doing and love it as much as you do. I have a Rising Star coffee subscription but that doesn't stop me from popping in when I'm nearby for a fresh drip and a pastry from Blackbird. So grateful to have such good local coffee available!“

“I like this place. Decent food and nice wait staff. I got a chef salad for lunch on a Tuesday early afternoon and my Mom got the veggie Italian sandwich. My salad was pretty large and filled with all types of good fresh ingredients. My Moms sandwich was also filled with fresh ingredients but seemed skimpier. But she liked it. Her side was potato salad. The side comes in a small side cup. I would like a scoop of the side on the plate but I get they are trying to g to control portions and cost. Seemed skimpy though. It's a nice size cafe. Tables are kept clean. But the plants around need some help. Most looked pretty dead or dying. They seem to do a good take out biz and lots of coffee and other drink options along with baked goods. All in all I will go back and try something else.“

“Many times I have strolled through Hingetown to visit the various amazing establishments in the area and have been curious about stopping into Verbena ever since they took over the space that once housed Cleveland Tea Revival. For months I’ve tried to coax friends into giving it a whirl with me but was met with confused looks wondering as to why I’d want to go to a dry cocktail bar to drink. Tonight I was finally able to bring a coworker in with me to see what was up and it was fantastic…Verbena is a cute and intimate spirit-free shoppe, bar, and cafe with eloquent drinks and tasty small plates, perfect to share with friends. We were the only ones in there on a Wednesday night besides the owner and bartender who were both very welcoming and cheerful. We started off with a couple glasses of the NA rosé which had very good and balanced acid with prominent red currant and cantaloupe notes. We paired that with dates filled with coconut yogurt topped with pistachios and a cheese board. The cocktails were also well made and pleasing to our palates, we didn’t miss the booze in them one bit! The “lychee margarita” with tajin dusted across the top is a must try.We closed the night out with yet a third round of wonderful bevs as well as the “ghia affogato”, again, excellent. I’m so glad I paid Verbena a proper visit and is an amazing weekday after work hang for anyone who isn’t prepared to power through a hangover the next day. I wish my best to the owner and staff and pray for their continued success. I hope they’ll be staying in the space and grow for many years to come. I know my coworker and I will most certainly be back!“

“It's definitely a go-to place to relax, read a good book, grab coffee or tea, a good Danish, and more. Mike was so helpful with all of my questions. He had an available booster seat so my son and I could dine in comfortably. The tea and food were very delicious. I had a salmon, spinach, mushrooms, and cheese omelet. All the flavors married well. The potatoes had just the right crunch. The French toast was just as tasteful. I hear their ribs are great, but we weren't hungry enough for that. AJ was very helpful recommending something light & quick (they were closing in 40 minutes) for dinner. He suggested an Italian wine which my husband said was fantastic. Food was made to order with attentive service. They have a large wine menu and an amazing selection of wines by the bottle in the adjoining room. We will come back on a Saturday for their rib special.“

I had no idea it would be so spacious. I found out they have a cigar lounge and a cute little VIP area. I'm definitely adding this bar to my list of places to go back to. Also, I kept hearing great reviews about the food. I am proud of myself for not going over my budget and sticking with a 2 drink max. Which was way below my budget. We have attended the Asian Lantern festival, Boo at the zoo, and winter fest this year..
