“basil syrup, fresh black pepper, olive oil sound wonderful together. But in a coffee? It will surprise you and delight you! Coffee alone is a strong flavor, so it stands to reason that strong flavors like black pepper and a good olive oil would work with it. The basil syrup is a nice sweet note, a little subtle for my taste, but we’re here to be bold, and this adventure is worth taking. The croissant, so perfectly buttery and crispy all at once is heaven paired with a pistachio butter and marmalade; a worthy accompaniment to that singular coffee.“

“You can't go wrong with this bakery! We needed a cake that same day, and since I had been meaning to try Great Scott's Bakery before, I took the opportunity to call him and see if there was any chance that he had a chocolate and peanut butter cake on hand. He then said that he would be able to make us one from scratch, and in the time frame that we needed it, which was in a few hours! Perfect. We gave him the name for the top of the cake and left it at that. Scott got it done in record time. Went to pick it up and it was beautiful. He had gone above and beyond to make a stunning, one of a kind cake that, might I add, tasted fabulous! Could not have asked for anything more and the birthday boy was so happy with his cake! That was the best chocolate peanut butter cake we've ever had. Soft peanut butter frosting, rich chocolate ganache, and moist chocolate cake, fully decorated, in short notice, on a Saturday! I can't recommend Great Scott's bakery enough and we'll be back for every special occasion cake, and all their other yummy goodies! The cassata cakes look amazing“

“In search of a diner in Lakewood, Ohio, I discovered this establishment. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. There were so many choices on the menu! As a first timer, my friend and I settled on the Chorizo Tacos and Breakfast Quesadilla. We added a blueberry muffin. The muffin was grilled--absolutely amazing! The food was prepared to order and exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a delicious spot for breakfast/brunch--this is it!“

“Such a great coffee shop! The Cafe de Olla is amazing, and the empanadas and guava rolls were equally as impressive! To top it off, the owner is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I mentioned that I had kids, and she took the time out of her day to show me around the building and told me all about the art museum’s exhibits (the cafe currently shares a space with the Cleveland Art Museum’s Community Arts Center) that she thought my kids might enjoy. I can’t wait to see all of the additional offerings when the new location opens!“

“I love this the coffee shop. Every time I drive past Dunkin’ Donuts I shake my head because this coffee shop is so much better. I don’t use sugar in my coffee so it doesn’t bother me they don’t serve it. And I only get the cappuccino and it’s perfect every time and it’s not expensive it’s the same price any where else. Plus I love supporting local small businesses in my neighborhood.“

“Abbey and Veronica are wonderful people. On my daily patrol at Cleveland Hopkins International AirPort , I stop in to grab a coffee and to talk with them. Not only are they professional, but awesome as well. My go to is a Mocha with oat milk and an extra shot of expresso. They do it just right. Stop in if you are flying in, or flying out and meet these wonderful ladies, and have one of their many delicious selections of specialty drinks!“

It was expensive for just the burger and Icee drink around $17. No fries included. I really wish the prices were cheaper but nothing we can do about it! “I work nearby and sometimes I like to take coffee breaks at Troubadour. I prefer small high quality places for my breaks which, in my opinion, offer a very different experience than chain coffee shops like Starbucks or DD. I consistently get high quality espresso drinks at Troubadour (Cortado is my standard). Atmosphere is great for a quick read or computer work. They have an outdoor patio that I tried in the summer and it was fabulous (of course the great weather that day helped 😅). I honestly recommend this place very highly for coffee lovers who have an interest in trying different espresso drinks at small specialty places.“

“This morning I finally stopped at this lovely cafe I’ve admired from a distance in my neighborhood. Warm and welcome and clearly run by an Albanian immigrants ??, with a menu of euro-style coffees ☕️??? and cakes. Felt transported to another place for a moment and then the owner offers my first drink on the house ??. Incredible. Gifting culture warms my heart. May have just found my new neighborhood joint.“

“The drinks are A+ every single time. Hot or cold, doesn’t matter. The real banger however, is the bakery. It’s probably the best vegan bakery I known of in Lakewood, or NE ohio. It’s always delicious. Whoever the baker and chef is/are, they truly know how to create desserts that are bliss. It takes real talent and thats why I continue to go here anytime I’m in Lakewood. That’s saying a lot as Lakewood has like 500 coffee shops, many of which are awesome. But this place always gets my vote for best. The aluminum cups being reusable are just one more perk. The atmosphere is also the pure old vintage feel of Lakewood. Baristas always nice. The drinks are also consistent regardless of who is making it. If Propaganda was everywhere like Starbucks, the world would be a better place.

Vegetarian options: 100% vegan. Have not tried the meals, only the desserts and pastries. It’s all delicious. Have yet to try anything I didn’t love. The donuts are out of this world. Expensive but worth every penny. I promise!

Parking: Usually park at meter in front or directly across the street. If not, the lot adjacent works. Never been a problem for me no matter the time of day or day of week.“
