“Last weekend we hit @perk_cup_cafe in Berea. Great breakfast, lunch, soups, coffees and Italian sodas. High recommendations. We had biscuits and gravy, two different soups - chicken noodle and loaded baked potato, a BLT , A tuna salad sandwich and the best ever onion straws. We also got 3 Italian sodas to go. Just a great place to eat. They have a Sunday buffet also. They are only open to 2pm. So plan ahead“
“I stopped by a couple of days ago, and the highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the warm and freshly made crepes. Each bite was a heavenly combination of light, fluffy batter, and a delectable filling of my choice. Whether it was the classic Nutella or the savory ham and cheese, every crepe was made to perfection. The skill and precision of the chefs truly shone through in every bite.Aside from the incredible crepes, I found the environment at La Crepe Bakery to be incredibly comfortable. The cozy seating arrangements and soft lighting created a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal with friends or family. What sets La Crepe Bakery apart from other establishments is its humble nature. Despite its popularity and success, the staff remained down-to-earth and attentive. The service was prompt and friendly, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that every customer felt valued and satisfied.Overall, my experience at La Crepe Bakery was nothing short of exceptional. The warm and freshly made crepes, combined with the comfortable environment, made for a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a taste of perfection in a warm cafe.“
“Very great food, my whole family loves the wraps. The owners are spectacular people and can tell there is a lot of love put into the place. Food is healthier than most stuff out there, you can taste and feel difference. Coffee, smoothies all excellent. Give this place a try and support local!“
“Neighborhood staple. Have tried the majority of the menu, and love everything I’ve tried! My go-to breakfast spot, even when I’m with non-vegans. I find their menu to be very approachable. I do both carry out and dine in.I typically get their breakfasts, but also love their lemon bars and will usually add on an iced latte. Coffee is usually decent.“
“Pretty amazing vegan bacon cheeseburger this time with the freshest ingredients and beautiful presentation. The owner really cares about food and it shows! Every trip here is a huge treat with tons of options no matter what you are in the mood for and new specials every time. Probably beats out every restaurant in the area in food, which is an impossible feat for Lakewood, and a very romantic atmosphere. It's a must stop for vegans in Lakewood and it surely must be for omnivores as well.“
“We went around 1:30pm on March7th. Food was very good. Had wine and cocktails. Service was outstanding. Female server and she was probably the best server I have ever had. I would only recommend that there were more appetizers. Bread was outstanding as well as the croissants. Vegetarian dishes were very good as well as the Broccoli melt. We were able to find parking on the street.“
“Heart of Gold has so far been the best bite to eat in Cleveland since I moved here from the South. The atmosphere is trendy but laid back with good lighting and a cute small bar. I really loved the menu design, it is very obvious that even the smallest details of this restaurant have been thought out.The overall menu has an interesting and cohesive direction that incorporates Southern and Italian food - which to me was very reminiscent of the kind of fare you'd find in a lunch spot in New Orleans - especially their Tiki drinks on offer. The service was wonderful; everyone was kind, helpful, and seemed excited about the food.We chose the Roman, the fried chicken sandwich, the waffle fries, and the onion rings with the house made ranch. The Roman is a solid sandwich where you can taste every part mentioned in the menu description. I thought all of the ingredients played well together and reminded me a bit of a muffeletta. The waffle fries were very good - I thought the everything seasoning was a very smart choice (the ridges in the fries hold the seasoning in place) and were perfect for dipping. The fry crispiness to fluffiness ratio was to me a perfect balance. My only complaint is that they tasted a little too much of oil.The onion rings were very surprising to me. They are to this date the best onion rings I've ever had. The breading was perfectly crispy and the onion stayed in place upon biting it - which is typically my main issue with onion rings. The sauce drizzled on top paired well with the sweetness with the onion, and the horsey sauce added the right amount of heat. The chicken sandwich was overall a good chicken sandwich. The bread and the maggi mayo punch above their weight and those alone make this a stand out. The chicken was crispy and perfectly cooked. I personally think the chicken itself could use a little more flavor, but again that is only my taste.I can't wait to return to this restaurant and try the other items on the menu. Don't miss out on this place.“
“In search of a diner in Lakewood, Ohio, I discovered this establishment. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. There were so many choices on the menu! As a first timer, my friend and I settled on the Chorizo Tacos and Breakfast Quesadilla. We added a blueberry muffin. The muffin was grilled--absolutely amazing! The food was prepared to order and exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a delicious spot for breakfast/brunch--this is it!“
“I’m not a coffee person so if you aren’t, you can still enjoy lots of treats. My fave drinks are the frozen hot chocolate and the berry smoothie with almond milk. I highly recommend everyone try the homemade pastries and cookies. Yummmm! Very nice clean local growing business to support. See you there.“
“On behalf of my family, I wanted to leave a quick review that is not necessarily “food related” for what it’s worth. My father recently passed away, but every weekend he would stop into Great Scott’s Bakery and chat with Scott and Heather. When my dad became ill and was no longer able to get his weekend cinnamon croissants and other treats for the grandkids, he would send us. Scott and Heather would always ask how he was doing and send their best – their friendship was a simple one, but one my dad truly cherished. Both Scott and Heather paid their respects to my father during calling hours and it was modest gesture that went a long way in the eyes of my family. We will forever continue to support this local bakery in any capacity we can – thank you Scott and Heather.“
“Had a chance to get here again, and loaded up on food and drink, this time for lunch. Tried the onion soup they had as a special, a croissant, and the roast beef / onion baguette. Best onion soup I’ve ever had, including that at French restaurants. It had some herbs in it that made it exceptionally good. Their baguette sandwich was excellent: made with roast beef & with the onions cooked similar to that in the soup special. Finished off the food fest with the chocolate mousse and a cappuccino. The people working there are exceptionally pleasant and the cafe has a comfortable, relaxing coffee house vibe. The Judith is also open into evening hours to enjoy their food along with wine and cocktails West Siders are fortunate to have this place, Juneberry, and Patron Saint to enjoy some well-made food by talented people. Spend your dough at these places to keep them open for us to enjoy for a long time. One note: The Judith has seating at the counter and tables for (guessing) 25 visitors. You might wanna call ahead to make sure your group can get a seat. I read some knucklehead’s poor review earlier complaining she felt rushed when she tried to camp out for, guessing, hours, spending peanuts. C’mon folks, this is a business - not a freakin’ library. If you’re short on cash, wanna park yourself for hours for free, then go to the freakin’ library. Don’t turn a cafe into your office or study room away from home; be mindful of the fact the owners need to make the income to keep the business open.“
“A great small cafe to pick up that super customized delicious coffee and a delectable sweet treat to get you day started. Great for quick stops or stay in store and enjoy the vibe while you write that paper or chat with friends.Full details:This is a really awesome gem of a cafe with super delicious coffees and amazing quality pastries at good prices. The vibe is pretty chill and you can definitely relax and have an awesome convo with friends or family with relaxing music in the background.Or better, just relax in a corner and focus on that project or paper you need to write, altho if you want absolute quiet you will need to bring headphones or be really good at blocking out the hustle in the background.Staff are amazing and friendly. The parking is obviously going to be tough given the location, but with a little 5 min walk you will be fine. The atmosphere is pretty nice, but to be honest I'd like it a little brighter or more upbeat interior vibe. However if you're going for a nice "gypsy mix" of colors and decor, this is definitely a winner. All in all, I'd recommend a visit for the coffees and pastries at the very least, will not dissapoint and the menu variety will probably have you returning for a lot more.Vegetarian options: Coffees are obviously ok but as for pastries am not confidentDietary restrictions: Will need to clarify with barista or cashier before ordering. They are very friendly and awesome!Parking: As with anything downtown, parking can be tough.Kid-friendliness: Pretty kid friendly“
“Fantastic local roaster/ coffee shop! Very knowledgeable & explained the different varieties of beans & coffees they offer. When I went, there were only a few pastry/sweet items to choose from, but the coffee chip biscotti was perfect! Will definitely visit again when I'm in the “
“I've been here 3 or 4 times. The environment is relaxing, service is fast but not friendly. Not rude just not friendly. I always get the bonbon crepe. Soooo good. I highly recommend. The savory crepes we have tried have all been good as well. The French toast crepe is just too soggy. Maybe serve the syrup on the side. The coffees have all been weak. Mostly filled with froth. Very little coffee but still ok. Overall I would recommend this place but there is some room for improvement.“
“I love this place, i go here all the time and own a washer and dryer but for 30.00 i can knock out allll the clothes at one time in their super loader and awesome dryers. The only thing i can say is people with animals really ruin the dryers because my blankets came out smelling like dog piss !“
“We have had crepes before and they were ok. Kelly's was highly recommended to us by library staff. Oh my! It was so good. They were huge! I enjoyed the Carleena. We also got a baked cinnamon apple with Carmel and pecans. The staff was so friendly! We will be back!“
“Wow! We went to Gather Food & Drink last week and it was amazing! The experience they offer is second to none! They truly have created a wonderful place to “Gather”, where not only people join together, but their delicious dishes and crafted cocktails also pair well together! The atmosphere is cozy and elegant with a welcoming staff. The food was phenomenal! We had the Whipped Ricotta appetizer, the Sirloin Steak entree and had Espresso Martinis! These easily became our fast favorites! We can’t wait to come back to try more dishes! Thanks Matt & Julie for an exceptional experience! Thanks,Mitch & Megan Heffron“
“Great atmosphere and great coffee. Also, there was a young man that came in and played the piano. He was not part of a scheduled performance but he was extremely talented. I was told he comes is from time to time to practice. Come in for a cup and if your a lucky, a great show.“
“This place blew my mind! Their menu seemed too good to be true but they absolutely delivered. I can't believe a place so good exists in Strongsville. The PB chocolate covered banana protein shake left me literally smacking my lips - an absolute TREAT! And the dairy free eggnog latte - so delicious! Interior is clean and peaceful. Please do not sleep on this place and check it out. You won't regret it!!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with customization for kiddo palates.“
“The food tasted good. And I had a pleasant interaction with a fellow traveler behind the counter telling them how delighted I was to find out that coconut water mixed well with espresso. I was happy to see the potential in becoming a repeat customer as well. The openess or lack of "stuff" inside the space really drew my attention to the drink. A place to go clear your head and chit chat“
“I prefer tea to coffee, but all my friends that are coffee drinkers love Rising Star. They had a good variety of both coffee and tea, and had some baked goods, many of which were vegan. They have a small dining area where lots of people were meeting or working, but it did get crowded quickly due to its size. Will go back.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan baked goods.Parking: There's an excellent large bike rack just outside. Bike or walk here; driving is lame.“
“Small place that packs a lot of great stuff! We need more dry-bars like Verbena around the CLE metro area. Amazing, delicious alcohol free drinks, can take to go, including bottles and canned drinks, great selection all in one place. Food options were very good, including Vegan. Service was great, and the owner is very nice and helpful.Vegetarian options: Vegan options as well!“
“I was looking for a quick dinner that was healthy and not too expensive. The Kale salad with chicken was excellent quality. The facility was clean and pleasant.Vegetarian options: I can't say if they were clearly labeled, but seemed to have many vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Very friendly to GF, even in bakery!“
“I got the lemon and blackberry French toast and it was DIVINE.The food runner who brought us our food was better than our actual server. Our server wasn't attentive. She didn't tell us her name, didn't ask how we were doing, and she took a large amount of time between our drink order and our food order (about 25 minutes) even though it was clear we were ready. Then, she used our table as her sorting area for all of her receipts while we were still eating. As long as I get a different server, I would love to return to this establishment.“
“Tried this place for take out breakfast early this morning -- very pleased! Would be a nice atmosphere for dine in, but we were not able to do that today. Food was good and reasonably priced. Friendly service. Can't wait to go back!“
“My latte at Troubadour could have been the smoothest latte I have ever had. It was the perfect temperature and did not seem acidic at all. It seems this place knows coffee. You can tell by the numerous pictures throughout the dining area. It also seemed like it could be run by one person. There were several people in line and one person behind the counter. He handled all the business well and kept churning out the orders. It was kind of fun having the coffee roaster right in the dining room. My son had a hot chocolate and shortbread. He said the hot chocolate was good, but coffee is obviously the star of the show. If I am in the area I will be stopping in.“
“Favorite breakfast/brunch place to go. Bacado omlete is great as are thr farmhouse skillet. Could order a plate of their friend potatoes and be one happy customer. Love that they leave you a coffee pitcher and water so you don't have to wait to refill.Lots of healthy options if that's what you are going for.“
“I could rave & rave about this place it’s SO good. My fiancé talked to the store owner the açaí is actually made in house! It tastes so much better than pulp or anything like that! We’ve been going here daily (maybe even twice a day) since it was suggested to us! I highly recommend checking this place out!“
“This morning I finally stopped at this lovely cafe I’ve admired from a distance in my neighborhood. Warm and welcome and clearly run by an Albanian immigrants ??, with a menu of euro-style coffees ☕️??? and cakes. Felt transported to another place for a moment and then the owner offers my first drink on the house ??. Incredible. Gifting culture warms my heart. May have just found my new neighborhood joint.“
“The Cleveland Zoo is one of my all time favorite places to go! We love going during a festival to see the transformations and experiences the atmosphere throughout the seasons and time of day. We have attended the Asian Lantern festival, Boo at the zoo, and winter fest this year.. I highly encourage you all to stop by the zoo and if you have little one definitely check out the treehouse and petting area!“
“Food was very fresh waffles look so awesome sausages very good I'm have to take my family of 5 back there and eat ? also they did not take no shortcuts on the food everything taste just how it's supposed to taste The cook was very friendly and funny the servers are very nice the atmosphere is awesome very clean place to eat I “
“This was my second visit to the new First Watch in Middleburg Heights and everything was Excellent. Both times I sat at the bar and was served immediately. Servers were attentive and personable. Food and drinks were brought out quickly. I ordered the Tropicsl Sunrise juice and it was full of fresh mango, pineapple, strawberry and lime juice well blended and frothy. For lunch I got the pick 2 with veggie soup that was full of delicious veggies and the turkey avocado blt sandwich that was full of sliced Turkey bacon and avocado. Perfect lunch for a cold day in CLE! Highly recommend First Watch for their fresh high quality food and Excellent service.“
“Abbey and Veronica are wonderful people. On my daily patrol at Cleveland Hopkins International AirPort , I stop in to grab a coffee and to talk with them. Not only are they professional, but awesome as well. My go to is a Mocha with oat milk and an extra shot of expresso. They do it just right. Stop in if you are flying in, or flying out and meet these wonderful ladies, and have one of their many delicious selections of specialty drinks!“
“Very good snacks, I love the shaved ice. The small looks like a large. Perfect for a hot day. But sucks that it’s outdoor only. It rains a lot of the summer so it would be nice to be able to enjoy shaved ice without getting rained on or having to eat it in the car.“
“Met up with a friend for lunch on Saturday for my first visit to Café Ah Roma, it was a good experience and I will definitely return. My sandwich was fresh and just the right sized portion for lunch, and the fruit smoothie was great. The staff was also friendly.“
