“I have been there a few times and it never disappoints. The homemade lasagna is to die for . The spaghetti was the proper proportion and just wonderful in taste and texture. I have been there for a couple breakfast and everything was really good. I do also want to add about the atmosphere, and the people that work there they are funny attentive to our needs and pleasant to everybody. This is a must go to restaurant.“

Each pie is generously topped with an even layer of cheese that melts beautifully, creating a perfect balance with the savory toppings. The dough is just right—not too doughy, not too dry—making for a delicious crust that holds everything together.

I did have one disappointing experience with their taco pizza. It was packed with an overwhelming amount of lettuce and sour cream, making it look unappetizing and far from what we expected. Unfortunately, it was so off-putting that we couldn’t bring ourselves to eat it. I felt bad for wasting a whole pizza, but I just couldn’t get past the sight and smell of it.

Despite that hiccup, East of Chicago has consistently impressed me with their deep-dish offerings. My wife often picks up our orders, and I’ve noticed that the pizza boxes are well-designed to keep the heat in and the food warm, with tightly sealed lids that ensure freshness.

One thing to keep in mind is that I’ve had some issues trying to place orders when they’re open, as there have been times when nobody answered the phone. While I understand that they might be busy restocking, it can be a bit frustrating.

Overall, I highly recommend trying the deep-dish pizza from East of Chicago. It stands out as one of the best in the area, and despite the minor setbacks, it’s definitely a pizza experience worth indulging in!“

“We ordered the box with 2 medium pizzas, bread sticks and chicken. This 24.99 for it through the deals. The pizza's crusts were delicious and thick. Bread sticks are yummy and the chicken crisp. What a bargain and leftovers for the morning!“

“Huge shout out to Sam’s, Smithville hosted our wrestling tournament this weekend and all of our concession food was from them! We’re talking over a 100 pepperoni breads and nearly 50 pizzas, plus hot dogs and chicken noodles. They worked with us as we added and subtracted from our original order to accommodate our event. I was new to this event and appreciate you all being so flexible.“

“I was in The Sub Station today during a very difficult interaction with a customer. The staff handled themselves with as much patience and composure as possible under extreme provocation. After the situation resolved, I was treated kindly, and the team made sure I had a great experience. I got a meatball sub, and now I am stuffed to the rafters! Always choose kindness. “The is no where to dine i did take out. Takeout area felt like an oven. Pizza was excellent normally like thin and crispy and this pizza is not that. Crust melt in ur mouth not too dense but light and airy. The end of the crust is crispy so succulent.I got a small deluxe pizza. The right amount of sauce, cheese and the toppings. Perfect balance.“
