“Really good food. A breath of fresh air ?️. Let’s be honest, Fairfield doesn’t have a lot to offer when it comes to quality restaurants…. ( we are the land of franchised fast food ?) Thi is one of the best Iv had in a while. Sadly Iv lived here for 10 years and finally gave it a shot and didn’t know what we were missing. We will be back for lunch and dinner and with the kids.Service was top notch too and the place is really clean as you’d expect.P.s. the masala tea ☕️ was amazing.“
“Hard to choose, everything looks so good on the menu. Schezwan Triple is what my wife is eating, she really likes it with white rice. We split lettuce wraps first. I had the Singapore Noodles which is very tasty and they made it very spicy for me.The desert was very chocolaty and creamy she ate most of it while I wrote this.Parking: Make a hard right as you come in and the parking is on the right“
“The restaurant is small, but clean. The bathroom was clean, which I always appreciate. The waiter was okay, but not super friendly. We also weren’t even offered chopsticks, they brought us forks. I had to ask for chopsticks, other patrons were given them and didn’t receive a fork. He also steered my daughter away from ordering the mini hot pot because he said it would be too spicy. She ordered chicken with garlic sauce from the Chinese menu. It was tasty and had a slight amount of spice. She ended up disappointed that she didn't get the hotpot, even though she did like her chicken dish. Her boyfriend ordered pepper chicken. I didn't try this one, but he really enjoyed it. I wasn't in the mood for jalapeño flavor, and it was covered in jalapeños.For myself I ordered sliced ear, bo-bo beef, and dry chili chicken.I was also warned that the bo-bo chicken would be very spicy. I sperically told him I love spicy food and I know I can handle it. I even mentioned that I didn't find the food in India spicy at all.The sliced ear was very tasty. My daughter liked the flavor, but not the texture. The outer portion has a texture similar to tendon, which was fine with her, but the rest was more like cartilage. I loved both textures personally. The dry chili chicken was perfectly cooked, although I could have handled some extra chilis in it. It was crispy and tender though. The bo-bo beef? Honestly, I did not find it overly spicy. It was spicy, but not what o would consider a 3/5. I didn't even feel a need for any type of drink during the meal. When the waiter asked me how was the spice. I had to tell him that I expected more. The dish though was delicious. The beef was the most tender beef o have ever tried. It has zucchini in it, which I love. Very good. The question is, do I just have that high of a spice tolerance, or did they give me "white girl" spicy? I seriously think it must have been less spicy than normal. I didn't even break a sweat and barely had a runny nose.Overall, it was very good. The portions were a good size.I went here specifically because if I could eat here I would be the Queen of Spicy in the Dayton area. I still don't know if I earned that crown. The spice level and the waiter not really believing me almost got them a 3, if I could do 3.5 I would. I know there are people that order it spicy and then they want to have it remade, so I'm not totally upset about the attitude. I'm just disappointed that I was promised spicy and it wasn't even on the top 5 spiciest things I've tried.“
“I was looking for Chinese express option, and this place is new and very clean which exceeded my expectations! The food is good and tasty! Service is very good! I tried boomboom chicken, cream cheese wonton, and beef broccoli Definitely gonna come back to try different food!!“
“In a quest to find the best Chinese in the city, Sichuan Palace makes their case but I will keep searching. The Kung Pao Chicken was the highlight. If you are like me and my gf and get grossed out by large/uneven looking chicken then here is your sign to get this because the chicken is small and delicious. The sauce is sweet and fairs well with the fried rice. The Peppered Beef was decent. It doesn't pack a ton of flavor, it was more so just to have a variety of meats on the table. I found myself chewing for long periods of time, but I didn't mind. The dumplings were solid but were carried by the Chilli Oil. They sell that stuff by the container. It's hot, it's spicy, and I'm sure they sell a lot of it. The fried rice was okay, pretty bland. Overall Sichuan Palace is good, but it's not great. Scratch that, it's great but it's not $60 Dinner for 2 great. I think this is an excellent spot for a group dinner where you order a few shareable options for the table. But for some reason Cheap Chinese Takeout that only comes in pale containers will always be the way to go. If you are in the area check this place out, but if you are ordering takeout try something else.“
“Wonderful noodles and wonderful service! Pictures uploaded are actually from three separate visits if that tells you how much I love this restaurant! Bringing friends and family here, there are a surplus of options, but being a noodle house you have to try both the sliced and the hand pulled noodle. Of my personal favorites, I loved both styles of fried noodles with cumin lamb, my roommate loved the sliced noodle with ground pork. Both offer a perfectly chewy picture with every bite. As of recently, I fell in love with the Sichuan street spicy and sour noodles! While they don’t have the same texture as the handmade, the noodles fit perfectly onto your spoon and the fatty cuts of beef are balanced by the spicy sour flavors of the broth. One thing I will say is with the Dan Dan noodles and chongqing spicy noodle, expect those to be a little more “bland” as compared to the fried dishes that absorb the sauces really well. Definitely coming back to try more!“
“Very yummy food. The brown sauce seemed high quality. The lady, who was 55 or 60 years old, was well aware of gluten-free and reassured us that they could make a gluten-free dish for my wife. I am vegan and had plenty of options. The service was better than average. The environment is really good. Overall, we had a really good experience for our date. We will definitely be returning. My wife described it as a high-end Chinese restaurant. Thank you.“
“I love this place, the only Asian-style restaurant for me. Mt. Healthy should be proud to have this business!UPDATE 3/19/2024: I have recommended Fortune Express to friends and family and they agree this is the best in our area hands down. You should try it!“
“Hi,It was good I think. Just rated cuz of pure sprite love for Jackie. IFYKYK. Guys I believe Johnny=Jackie. And Guys, JACKIE is amazing. Therefore Johnny is equivalent using the law of equality.Kid-friendliness: It was friendly to kids. very child friendly.“
“Thursday night@7pm. Large party here, loud (a little obnoxious) and scatterbrained...our server was incredible...no eye rolling, side-eye glances, nor snide remarks...which were all deserved by this crew...so kudos to our wait staff and the management for not shutting us down for some of the cursing that some of the girls (def insert side eye glance here) in our group were spewing. The food was so-so...orange chicken soft & soggy, the edemame slightly overcooked but overall a great experience.“
“This is THE BEST Chinese food I have ever had! It is not Americanized!! Tried some Dim Sum, which is like tapas or small plates of food. The Red Bean bun was yummy and the Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf! I had the Dandan noodles as my main dish! They were able to make not as spicy as it normally would be! So good! My husband had the Orange chicken! Very good! We don’t mind making the trek from Dayton for some great food! We put this place on our Cincinnati area favorites list!“
“We often pick up food from China Wok, and they are always ready on a timely basis. They have a broad menu and do a good job with their food preparation.Vegetarian options: Nice selection.Dietary restrictions: They offer a very good steamed vegetable and protein plate.“
“Food is always on point. No matter what we order (since I've been grown it's been a few times recently...my family used to order here when I was younger ALOT!)Portion sizes, taste, look...its mouth watering. The restaurant is still in the same place it was almost 20 30 years ago and it's even smaller now, lol. But don't let the size fool you...you'll definitely find your favorite table and come back. Everytime.Parking: Street parking or park across the street in the Family Dollar lot. There's also PUHLENTY of parking at LaRosas.“
“There were five of us and we each ordered different proteins and we shared. The individualized broth/soup worked well for all of us. I got the Mala's spicy broth that I spiced up using additional schechuan chillies. Everything about the place is what one would get in Chongqing or Chengdu. I love going here during the cold winter days.“
“A gluten free dish we get every time are the Singapore noodles. It is a curry flavor with chicken, shrimp, egg, sprouts and green onion in a huge portion size. Reasonably priced and the food always comes out quickly! Authentically run by non US natives.“
“Everything was perfect! Everytime I order. Friendly faces, clean kitchen and waiting area. Only thing is, if you like spicy, ask for extra spice. I wanted spicy Kung Pao and Wonton Ton soup. It was bland to me. Fabulous flavor, I just like a lil more kick.“
“Always consistently great food. Family owned and man working the Wok is a saint and knows Chinese and Cantonese cuisine. My go to and I have another Chinese restaurant a stone throw away from me. I always make the ten minute drive here. Food is still piping hot when I get home if doing carryout. Economical and one dish lasts me at least 2 meals and I'm a big guy.“
“Very tasty. I got the lunch special teriyaki chicken and fried rice. It was all fresh. The chicken was nicely glazed, the lunch special came with just 2 chicken on a stick. I also got an order of rangoons and they were fresh and delicious. The woman kindly gave me extra soy when I asked.“
“This was my first time ordering from Wok Inn Express. The nice lady who took my order was very kind. I ordered General Tso chicken. It was delicious. The resturaunt looked clean. I ordered tak out. I would recommend this establishment t as a good place to get good Chinese cuisine! Customer Service was excellent!“
“We used the new online ordering system and it was simple and easy to place an order. The wait was longer than quoted when picking up. We ordered:1. Crab Rangoon - these were made well and had the right ratio of filling to wrapper - very yummy. These are still my favorite! (5/5 ?)2. Steam fried dumplings - these had a great flavor and I would order again. (4.5/5 ?)3. Shrimp fried rice - this was also prepared well and adding extra shrimp is cheap! Definitely ordering this again. (4.5/5 ?)4. Chicken Mei Fun - this was my first time ordering this dish and it was prepared well. I am not sure of the expected flavor profile but seems to need a little bit more seasoning/flavor overall. (2.5/5 ?)Updated from a new visit -5. ? ? - pretty good however the chicken-to-breading ratio is off. Too much breading. (3/5 ?)6. ? lo mein - our kids like this and rated it really yummy. (4/5 ?)7. Chicken wings - these were prepared well but were mildly seasoned. These need more n?. (3/5 ?)“
“Have been coming here for many years. Food is always great. Much better than the average Chinese takeout. Love the pork fried rice, has a great roasted flavor. We got the Hunan shrimp and beef and broccoli (ordered both extra spicy and they delivered!). Highly recommend the Hunan shrimp. Lots of veggies and tons of flavor. Was surprised with the addition of bamboo shoots but they were definitely one of my favorite parts. The beef and shrimp were very tender. The fried dumplings were very good as well. Will continue to come here.“
“Many American style Chinese food like Pandas. We tried the Guo Bao Pork as it's crispy with sweet and sour sauce. The Hot sour noodles are all right but we hope there will be some more sauce. The Dry braised Green Cabage is good and decent with rice. The pep corn chili Sauce fish with many pep inside, the fish is wrapped with too much flour. A general good choice for Chinese cuisine in the area.“
“First time visiting and was blown away by how authentic the foods are. To be honest, we heard about Chinese Imperial Inn for a while but didn't stop by because we afraid it is just another Chinese basic fast food restaurant. But no, despite the run down look, the foods were great. The service was great too. Our server greet us with a warming smile and quickly seat us down and take our order. The food came out fast too. I was impressed. After talking to the waitress, we found out the restaurant is over 30 yrs old, family run. No wonder why it has such great ambiance. I would recommend dinning in instead of order take out. Lot of food need to be eaten right away. Sitting in the box makes the food soggy and overcooked. Deff will come back for more. Just thinking about it s me hungry.“
“This is a nice reasonably priced neighborhood Chinese Restiraunt with good food, served up quickly at a very reasonable price! Each dinner sized dish easily serves two people! The venue is no frills, carry out only for the moment.Parking: Plenty parking in strip Mall lot“
“The food was so good. I took a trip on my lunch break and it was defiantly worth it! The food stayed hot as can be the whole time I ate it! This was probably some of the best Chinese food if not the top I’ve had in a long time! I definitely recommend to friends and family.“
“After 4 years of taste disappointments, we bravely tackled their buffet lunch. Why, you ask ? Thanks to our friends' push, we took the plunge. Not exactly a food wonderland, but hey, it was decent enough. The meat played it cool—fresh and delightful. The fish was swimmingly tasty, and the Hyderabad style chicken dum biryani had us doing a happy dance. While each dish had its merits, a sprinkle more of the right seasoning and spice could have elevated the taste to a whole new level. It's like they were hinting at greatness but holding back a bit – the seasoning's version of playing hard to get! Now, let's talk desserts. Shahi tukda was the superstar. However, they might want to gather the sweet troops and rethink the dessert lineup. On the brighter side, the curd rice was a fresh, tasty surprise.Ambiance, oh dear ambiance! It could use a splash of color and some serious decoration therapy to make it as inviting as your grandma's kitchen. Staff members were sweethearts, providing service that even Cupid would be proud of. Speaking of love, a bit of TLC for the ambiance and the staff wouldn't hurt. The price for the food? Well, it didn't break the bank, but it could do with a bit of haggling. All in all, dining here is like a rollercoaster – some ups, some downs, but in the end, you're still craving that next ride.“
“My family went here for my son's birthday and the food was delicious. They have a great variety of food including sushi and hibachi. There is no excuse to find something that you like. #No boredom. The service was fine. My expectations from my servers at a buffet is that they remove the plates and refill drinks consistently. We did have to ask a few times for refills, which is why there are 4 stars and not 5 stars. This will probably be our new Chinese buffet spot.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps to get into the building. They also have plenty of handicap parking.“
“Would give it 10 stars if I could! Ordered the vegetable lo mein and egg rolls for takeout, and all the food was still hot when I got home. The portions were big, the egg rolls were crispy, and the veggies in the lo mein were fresh. Definitely will be a regular!“
“Some of the best, most authentic Chinese food in the area! It’s just in a strip mall and nothing special about the atmosphere but the food is excellent if you want it authentic. The first two pages of the menu are the “American Chinese” dishes, labeled as such. But then the rest of the menu is authentic Sichuan. There are a fair selection of vegetarian options. Every one I have tried has been delicious. There are also a lot of spicy dishes since it is Sichuan cuisine. My wife has declared that the “spicy boiled fish fillets” are the best thing she has ever eaten! Once she discovered it that is all she gets here. It is a large portion ($17) that is easily two, if not three meals. She sometimes gets it for carry out. They serve alcohol but mostly beer, wine, and sake. However, they can also make simple mixed drinks. There have been several occasions when the restaurant has been busy and we were the only non-Asian people in the restaurantVegetarian options: Over a dozen vegetarian dishes.“
“Had a taste for Thai but Panda was closer. Got the lunch low mein and boneless ribs. DELICIOUS! I do t know how nutritious it was but I don't care. Crab Rangoon was included and it was really good as well. If you like "Americanized" Chinese food you will enjoy. Lunch specials were economically priced and service was pretty quick. I'll be going back. Thumbs High! ?“
“It isn't even fair how good the General Tso's chicken combo is. I ordered my food and within 10 minutes I got a notification of it being ready. On top of that, I didn't even pick it up for another 20 minutes. It is still the best General Tso I've ever had. It had the perfect crunch, the rice was just right and the egg rolls were amazing. I may take an extra trip here this year just to have it again. <3“
“Today was my first time dining here. I ordered carryout over the phone. I have to say, it was great in every way. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food was hot and ready when they said it would be. They also had a big tray of to-go sauce packets, disposable chopsticks, and plastic utensils right there, easily accessible on the counter, which was extremely thoughtful and convenient. The food was amazing. One of the best Sweet 'n Sour Chicken dishes I've ever had. Their fried rice is likewise outstanding. It's a little darker than the average fried rice, but the depth of flavor is incredible for such a simple dish. The Mei Fun Shrimp was also delightful. It had plenty of perfectly cooked shrimp and the noodles were done flawlessly. We also had the pork eggrolls which were the best I've had in the city, and the chicken on a stick, which is somewhere between teriyaki chicken and grilled chicken, and it was outstanding.I am looking forward to trying many of their other dishes. This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant in Mason, and I heartily encourage everyone to give it a visit.Parking: There is a 10-minute-parking spot right in front of the restaurant. Very convenient for take-out.“
“The buffet here is small, but don't let that stop you from coming here. The food that they do have on the buffet is delicious. Very fresh food as they brought it to the buffet in small batches, frequently. It felt very clean and the decor is simple yet pretty. And compared to other buffets in the area, it was very well priced.“
