“If you ever need a quiet place with a good atmosphere to study or read this is your spot. The coffee is especially good, I tend gravitate to a iced latte or cold brew, there are variety of syrups and milk choices to meet your needs. Additionally if you need beans whole or ground for home you can pick up a bag to meet your at home needs, which are just as fantastic.

The real star of the show is the owner who is always kind, warm, and friendly every time I frequent this cafe. He is well versed in the craft and will offer a bevy of recommendations if you don't have a clue what kind a drink you want along with some friendly chat.

“My son and I come almost every Friday after we hit the Amherst Public Library (which we also highly recommend). We LOVE it. The baristas are so sweet and remember my son and what he gets. The drinks and food are great. Creative and delicious coffee and non-coffee drinks. And the atmosphere/aesthetic!! I cannot say enough about how adorable and cozy this coffee shop is. The garage doors in the summertime make it the perfect place to hang out and work or meet friends. They have couches, a communal table, smaller tables, and a little high-top bar-like table that looks out toward the street (by the garage door). This place is an Amherst treasure and worlds better than Arabica. My only request: allow doggos!“

“I absolutely LOVE this place!! I treated my husband to the sandwich called The California, he gave it RAVE reviews. He couldn't say enough nice things about it. He even wanted to give his compliments personally to the chef face to face tonight. The live music was wonderful watching I also want to highly compliment Autumn V. She is phenomenal!!!!“

“Was in town for a baseball game, found this place nearby on our way home, and we couldn't have been happier. The donuts were great, so many to choose from. Prices were fine, but I'm fine to pay a little more to not have other chain donuts with less exciting options. If I'm ever back in town, I'm returning to this place. Kid friendly atmosphere, not a ton of room to eat inside or for parking, but I believe it fits the venue as not many probably choose to eat inside and they will get you out the door quickly if desired, so parking lot will empty soon enough for others. Give this place a try. There is something inside for most everyone.“

“You can eat some hamburgers ?, nachos & snacks while you do your laundry. The employee Nicole is fantastic. She's super friendly and keeps the place really clean. She also makes really good food. Where else can you buy scratch off lottery tickets and do laundry while eating a meal? Nowhere except here!“

“Rio miraculously had power after a huge storm which wiped out power every where else. They were very busy but still remained kind and efficient. Latte was hot and breakfast burrito was great! Definitely moved up my list as far as local coffee / breakfast spots go.“

“A lot of the reviews on this are for the Starbucks located outside of Market District. This one however is inside market district and staffed with one of the best Starbucks employees ever. Ive been coming here on and off for about two yrs before work. They staff is always friendly and my drinks are made perfectly!Gabby is always very polite and smiling before 8am. Today when I came in she was training a young man. She was being so encouraging and allowing him to make my drink with gentle reminders of what should be included. Starbucks please take note, Andrew ( I think that was the trainee) good luck with your training. You’re in good hands !
