“OK. I checked this place out last year and I was sorely disappointed. But they have completely changed their tune...er, taste. The curry chicken has a nice spicy taste. The cabbage has good flavor and a unique (at least to me) different presentation (sliced up real thin). And they give HUGE portions! I'm talking "can't shut the lid" portions! Man, they have Jamaican-style plantains - they sweet style. I have another favorite Jamaican spot which I have been going to for almost twenty-five years. If Jamerican keeps up what I experienced today, they may end up taking the gold.“

“I absolutely love Brassica! The food and lemonade is always so fresh and delicious! I love the different options of veggie toppings. Since this place is located within Van Aken District there is plenty of space to sit and enjoy especially in the warmer months so the atmosphere is nice. The bathroom has always been clean everytime I've used it and they even have just a small sink outside of the bathroom if you only need to wash your hands. This place is a little bit on the pricer side but I think its worth it as it is healthier and fresher and a lot of their utensils and napkins and bowls are made from recycled materials and is some are compostable. If you like Mediterranean food in a Chipotle style way then I recommend this place!“

“We went on a Monday towards the end of the morning Rush at about 11:00 11:30 or so we had to wait a few minutes for them to clear some tables for seated pretty quickly we had coffee ordered our food and it came really fast I have the spinach and mushroom I'm up with Swiss cheese and it was great the hash browns I would have liked a little bit more well done but they were good my husband said is over medium eggs were done perfectly I would go again“

“Ever think of ordering THE Irish stout at an outstanding wine bar? I decided to give it a try and boy oh boy were my expectations blown out of the water. As someone who is personally not a fan of Guinness pours in glasses that don’t meet the Guinness glass standard, this glass and pour is superior to your run of the mill American pint glass. Reasonably priced. Perfect pour. Amazing atmosphere. 11/10 would recommend. The wine spot??? Also could be considered an Irish pub!“

“We stopped in for lunch and it exceeded our expectations! We ordered a ham sandwich on focaccia bread with potato, broccoli and cheddar soup, and the Claudio sandwich with white bread. It was all spectacular! The story of how the shop started was also sweet to read inside the restaurant. We will definitely stop here again next time we are in the area.“

The beer has always been top notch even for Cleveland but I have to say the food has gotten much better since Eugene's first opened its kitchen inside. I used to think differntly about them but in 2026 these may be the best fries in the city. “My brother introduced me to this place. He had brought me in on my birthday weekend (8/9). He showed me the menu prior to coming and so I had an idea of what I wanted to order. When we arrived, I had the honor of meeting the owner of the business, Razzi. Such a really cool, chill dude.
Since he wasn't busy at the time, he took the time to show us all the things his business had to offer. He told us where he gets his ice-cream, the ingredients for his waffles, etc. To learn the history of each item was very insightful.

Service: Razzi was very knowledgeable about his food and the things he serves. He was super cool and I love that he is a small minority business owner. He will be seeing me again soon.

Food: I ordered the Cinnaroll waffle with Nutella spread and a scoop of vanilla brown sugar ice-cream. I also got this Matcha Lemonade. Talk about the best waffle I've ever had. It was light, fluffy, with a nice crisp bite to it. Because of it being made by scratch, all the flavors were very well balanced and nothing overwhelmed. I highly recommend ordering the large waffle. The iced Matcha Lemonade (the green drink) was also good. A very healthy drink.

“This place is amazing. I ordered through a delivery app and what I ordered was a chicken bacon and ranch wrap with no bacon. The restaurant reached out to me directly to let me know they didn’t have roasted red peppers and asked me if I would like anything for substitution. I was really appreciative that they called and communicated. That was a first for me and totally unexpected and then the kind employee called me back to let me know that she made a mistake on my order and added bacon and communicated with the delivery driver in which he went back to grab the fixed order. The employee went above and beyond and it was so delicious and fresh. Please don’t lose your great service it’s much appreciated and hard to come by these days. Food quality 🤌🏾, customer service 🤌🏾.
