“Brassica in Shaker Heights was such a good find while visiting a friend. I went twice in one trip, that should tell you something. Got the salad bowl both times with hummus and basically loaded it up with everything, and it just works no matter what combo you put together. Tried the chicken on one visit and the brisket on the other, both were fabulous. Fair warning though, the brisket is subject to availability, so don't count on it being there every time.
Do yourself a favor and order the fries at least once even if you're trying to be good. They complement the bowl perfectly, and throwing a few fries right into the salad is genuinely a great move. Also have to mention the beer selection. Good local options and reasonably priced, which is a nice touch alongside the food.
This place earns the trip back any time I'm in the area.“

As someone who is personally not a fan of Guinness pours in glasses that don’t meet the Guinness glass standard, this glass and pour is superior to your run of the mill American pint glass. Reasonably priced. Perfect pour. Amazing atmosphere. 11/10 would recommend. The wine spot??? Also could be considered an Irish pub!“

“OK. I checked this place out last year and I was sorely disappointed. But they have completely changed their tune...er, taste. The curry chicken has a nice spicy taste. The cabbage has good flavor and a unique (at least to me) different presentation (sliced up real thin). And they give HUGE portions! I'm talking "can't shut the lid" portions! Man, they have Jamaican-style plantains - they sweet style. I have another favorite Jamaican spot which I have been going to for almost twenty-five years. If Jamerican keeps up what I experienced today, they may end up taking the gold.“

“Crooked Pecker is one of our favorites. They have awesome food trucks. They have one of the best Hefeweizens. They have several IPAs. They Stouts are awesome for the fall and winter.“

The beer has always been top notch even for Cleveland but I have to say the food has gotten much better since Eugene's first opened its kitchen inside. I used to think differntly about them but in 2026 these may be the best fries in the city. The vegan dumplings were very high quality and you can't tell that a lot of skill and intent went into the non-meag dishes. I would definitely recommend stopping“

“My brother introduced me to this place. He had brought me in on my birthday weekend (8/9). He showed me the menu prior to coming and so I had an idea of what I wanted to order. When we arrived, I had the honor of meeting the owner of the business, Razzi. Such a really cool, chill dude.
Since he wasn't busy at the time, he took the time to show us all the things his business had to offer. He told us where he gets his ice-cream, the ingredients for his waffles, etc. To learn the history of each item was very insightful.

Service: Razzi was very knowledgeable about his food and the things he serves. He was super cool and I love that he is a small minority business owner. He will be seeing me again soon.

Food: I ordered the Cinnaroll waffle with Nutella spread and a scoop of vanilla brown sugar ice-cream. I also got this Matcha Lemonade. Talk about the best waffle I've ever had. It was light, fluffy, with a nice crisp bite to it. Because of it being made by scratch, all the flavors were very well balanced and nothing overwhelmed. I highly recommend ordering the large waffle. The iced Matcha Lemonade (the green drink) was also good. A very healthy drink.

Atmosphere: Calming laid-back vibe. Place to chill and have great food.“

It was all spectacular! The story of how the shop started was also sweet to read inside the restaurant. We will definitely stop here again next time we are in the area.“

“I love thin style pizzas, a la Il Rione and Pizzeria di Laura, but the bottom 1/3 end of our margherita pizza was crunchy, almost like a thick potato chip. The middle part up to the crust was good and the crust is quite large, but tasty. Although I don't like eating the crust that much. The taste of the middle portion of the pizza was good. We'll have to try this again.“

“I haven’t had authentic Italian food in too long. Our salad dressing was to die die! The zucchini appetizer was divine and the dipping sauces perfect. Our main courses were perfect and to top it all of there was warm bread and olive oil with herbs to dip it in. Highly recommend!“
