“We went on a Monday towards the end of the morning Rush at about 11:00 11:30 or so we had to wait a few minutes for them to clear some tables for seated pretty quickly we had coffee ordered our food and it came really fast I have the spinach and mushroom I'm up with Swiss cheese and it was great the hash browns I would have liked a little bit more well done but they were good my husband said is over medium eggs were done perfectly I would go again“

“OK. I checked this place out last year and I was sorely disappointed. But they have completely changed their tune...er, taste. The curry chicken has a nice spicy taste. The cabbage has good flavor and a unique (at least to me) different presentation (sliced up real thin). And they give HUGE portions! I'm talking "can't shut the lid" portions! Man, they have Jamaican-style plantains - they sweet style. I have another favorite Jamaican spot which I have been going to for almost twenty-five years. “My husband and I Stopped in randomly after driving past on a Saturday afternoon. We loved it. Sat at the bar. Talked to one of the owners who served up a fantastic cranberry orange margarita! Cozy atmosphere. We shared the breakfast burger with the most perfectly fried hash browns and a side of the Brussel sprouts! No complaints. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend!“

“We got a last minute reservation on a Friday night after a recommendation. We weren’t sure what to expect, and we were VERY happy! I had a delicious classic Paper Plane cocktail and hubby ordered a bottle of red wine. We started with frog legs as an appetizer…lightly fried, and so much garlic and lemon…perfection! I had the chicken pitta, my husband had veal parm (our server Tony suggested it as it would go great with the wine he chose). Both dishes were so plentiful we each took half home. The amount of artichokes and red peppers on my piccata was very generous, they don’t skimp on anything! We ended the night with Affogato and it was also wonderful. Bottom line is the whole experience was great! We can’t wait to be back in Cleveland and come back…don’t miss out.“

“The pizza’s we got was burnt on the bottom. The donuts were good but definitely not like they used too! Can definitely tell they’ve cut corners - they got rid of the hole in the middle are gone, and $16 for a dozen. You can come out to Painesville and get a full dozen for cheaper and MUCH better!“

It was all spectacular! The story of how the shop started was also sweet to read inside the restaurant. We will definitely stop here again next time we are in the area.“

“I came here a lot between 2022 and 2025 when I lived in Cleveland. The beer has always been top notch even for Cleveland but I have to say the food has gotten much better since Eugene's first opened its kitchen inside. I used to think differntly about them but in 2026 these may be the best fries in the city. The vegan dumplings were very high quality and you can't tell that a lot of skill and intent went into the non-meag dishes. I would definitely recommend stopping“
