“Cute little Mexican restaurant with a side area that sells a nice variety of delicious hand dipped ice creams & treats. The Mexican dishes & soft drinks are overpriced ($10 for an average burrito & $3.50 for a soda) but their desserts are more reasonably priced overall & make it worth coming back for just them.“
“My friend and I came at 11 on a Saturday. It wasn’t busy at all so if you like an early lunch, like we do, I highly recommend it!This is my go to Mexican restaurant in Springfield.The atmosphere is chill and toned down which makes for an easy place to have a conversation with your party!The food was spectacular! We got the Birria pizza, chalupa, chilli rellano and chicken with rice.Everything was spectacular and full of flavor.My only gripe was the chilli rellano. It’s not a traditional rellano, it’s filled with chorizo. Although tasty, I was somewhat disappointed with it, as I was hoping for a traditional one. Traditional is a pablano charred then stuffed with cheese, dipped in egg batter, fried then covered with sauce. Casa del sabors rellano was a small puck of chorizo with cheese microwaved on top. It was alright. I probably won’t order that again.The pizza Birria was the best part. I will come back again and again just for that!“
“Authentic Mexican cuisine! Words can not describe how amazing the food is. I know my Mexican food. I eat at all the Mexican places in town and this place is a wonderful mom and pop shop. Victor and Cecilia serve up the most delicious flavors. My gordita was extraordinary! The price was a great value and I left full! I will be a regular. BTW they are moving soon, on Leffel's Lane, (the old Teaberry's) Don't miss out.“
