“I came here a little over an hour before closing then was seated by the hostess, our waitress took our drink order then was inattentive for 35 minutes after me even waving her down multiple times but wouldn’t come to the table, I brought it up to the owner and kitchen staff out in the sushi making area, and they were right at my service, from there me, the owner and few employees even made some genuine conversation, and brought out the food very quickly, (which is always fantastic) when I was all finished the owner told us it was all free, I really hope the owner and staff knows that was the best customer service I have ever received, so a huge thank you to the owner and staff!“

“Amazing pizzas made in their wood fired brick oven pizzas made fresh to order. We ordered five pizzas and they were brought to our table within 10-15 minutes.

Pizzas are thin crust, which we enjoy and large for one to individually enjoy. Toppings are plentiful and brought to you straight from the oven to your table.

Cozy atmosphere, Christmas lights, and multiple little country flags on the walls; while waiting for our food we trivia'ed ourselves on how many we knew.

“Have been going here for along time. First time ordering pizza though. I ordered extra sauce which I did not get and only ate a few slices. I asked to get extra sauce to take home and the waitress said it would cost $2.00 more. But she wasn’t sure. We had to ask again about the sauce after we paid the bill. She said they would not give us extra sauce!! Hmmm!! Really? So for all you that like extra sauce on your pizza… they don’t do that! Also, the waitress never took any of our dirty dishes away.“

The shrimp taco is absolutely amazing (definitely my favorite on the menu). I went one time on a Wednesday and got to enjoy some live music, which made the atmosphere even better. She took our drink orders and almost immediately brought us my coffee and my wife's water, Mitch took our order again. Almost immediately brought us out our order. The service was incredibly fast and here's the kicker the whole time. Even though it was breakfast on a Saturday morning and Kayla was the only server in the building at the time. You would never have guessed that she was on top of it! I don't think we've ever had a a bad experience at a first watch, so not only do I recommend this first watch. “Cafe Donuts single handedly saved the day for our child’s donut theme breakfast birthday. We discovered that Krispy Kreme was just… closed despite placing a pick up order earlier in the week for this. This was at 9 AM and we had no treats for a party! We called cafe donuts in a panic- we had 60 people to feed! By 10:00 AM, we had 200 freshly made donut holes and four dozen raised glazes with sprinkles to match our theme still a bit warm from the fryer on our party table- even including a special donut with multicolored sprinkles in a box labeled “happy birthday!” The person picking up said every employee was working impressively quickly to get this order out the door in under 30 minutes from phone call to car! My frantic husband even noted that the manager was calm and collected when he was definitely not, suggesting the right number of donuts and types! I cannot express how extraordinary their customer service is. We already loved their donuts anyway, but I have to say I don’t know that we’ll ever go to another bakery in Toledo besides Cafe after this day saving experience!“

“Balance is hands down the best fast casual option. Tofu is the best Ive ever had. The bang bang sauce is like a dream and I buy it by the jar. Try the citrus brussels and if you like a bit of spice bang bang tacos & nachos (no yogurt). If you prefer to build a bowl, all tge sauces are great and I recommend the wheat noodles for your starch. My favorite sauce is Thai guy for the bowls.“

“Panera is one of my “Go -To’s”, a standard for many other places, a role model for their niche market. I am a charter member if the Sip-Club, and highly recommend it.

Like many chains, there are differences, sometimes subtle and sometimes blatant, between specific locations. My favorite Panera location is in Perrysburg, the other side of the Maumee River from this location. This Maumee location is open, airy, and welcoming… yet colder, less clean and tidy, and slower than Perrysburg and a few others.

We frequently go into places, already familiar, with the place and menu, and even knowing what we’re planning to order… but we still like to ask for recommendations. The girl at the counter cringed a bit while saying, “I really don’t like our sandwiches, but I’m not much of a sandwich girl.” I always appreciate honesty, but I was not expecting that.

Overall, a good visit. If this location had been my first impression of Panera, I’d be pleased, and also pleased to return.“

“I honestly cant say enough good things. I Informed the waitress that I am gluten intolerant, cant have egg, and cant have my food cooked with beef. I ate my hibachi chicken(which was PHENOMENAL), and I did not get sick. It is so rare to find a restaurant in Toledo that will really acknowledge these issues and take preventive measures. Also, my waitress was attentive and very pleasant. The quality/price ratio is there as well.

“I ordered from Pizza Cat yesterday for the first time. I must say the food was so good and the ingredients they used made my mouth water will joy . You know how when you eat something and at times the after taste can leave a bad taste in your mouth not with Pizza Cat . I will definitely be ordering from them again.“
