“Our family loves this cafe!! We have ordered afternoon tea for two birthday parties for our granddaughter! She loves good tea and scones and theirs are the best! The Strawberry Kisses hot tea is fantastic! Central Perc is a little gem!!“

Be careful with to go, the bourbon sauce will spill out of the box into the saran wrap they put around it. Ask for your sauce on the side to avoid the mess. They always make sure you get exactly what you want and go the extra mile! I've become a regular here very quickly. I live in the neighborhood and I'm very grateful there is a place affordable with great food that me and kids can enjoy! Love this place!“

“I was passing through the area and needed a place to do some work and this place was the perfect spot. It is really a local's coffee shop. I really loved hearing the locals have conversations with the employees. The tea I got was delicious and they did a great job. It was actually better than the overpriced Starbucks in my opinion. I also loved thst the employees seemed to know every person that walked through their doors which made the place very inviting and personal.
I think what makes a great coffee shop are the connections they make with the locals and how many regulars they have. And it seemed they had a lot of regulars.

I also appreciated that it was laid back and I was able to do my work undisturbed.

Jose Calzada and his family have elevated the dining experience there since they took over management. My friends and I enjoyed Chicken and Waffles, Shrimp and Grits, and Brioche French Toast.
