Today I got the veggie quesadilla - huge portion, AND they had vegan sour cream! They also have a full bar, and a cute patio that will be great in warm weather. “Went there tonight for dinner. I’m in town visiting a friend but found myself on my own this evening, saw this place on my map, and decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint! The friendly staff, the ambiance, the food, and the general vibe were great. They’re clearly well liked in the area because a lot of people were there and seemed to know the staff well! I had a simple dinner of wings and fries and they were delicious. The waitress/bartender (I forgot to catch her name) made sure I was doing okay every chance she got, no matter how much other stuff was going on. If I’m in the area again, I’d definitely come back!“

“Tried this place for the first time last night and loved it. Higher priced than other places, but the portion sizes are enough for two meals. Everything was freshly prepared. I had the shrimp with pea pods and my husband had the satay beef. The spring rolls were crisp and delicious. Will definitely be back.“

“My husband and I Stopped in randomly after driving past on a Saturday afternoon. We loved it. Sat at the bar. Talked to one of the owners who served up a fantastic cranberry orange margarita! Cozy atmosphere. We shared the breakfast burger with the most perfectly fried hash browns and a side of the Brussel sprouts! No complaints. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend!“

“On Thursday night there is a trio of fun bartenders , Allie , Micaela, and Monica. Always in a great mood and very attentive to your needs. The food is top notch sports bar type and well prepared. The selections are across the board and have never had a bad meal.“

“Our server, Lauren was absolutely amazing! It’s rare to find someone so young and upbeat and helpful. We would definitely be back just to see her. The fact that the beer was wonderfully delicious is just a bonus.“

“Finally made our first trip to Oak and Ember on a Friday evening. We made reservations, so we were promptly seated; oddly, the restaurant was only about half full. We had the burnt ends and cheese curds to start. Cheese curds were pretty standard, but the ends were fantastic - some crispy, some a little fatty, all covered in BBQ sauce.

Main courses were brisket and pull pork; again, both cooked perfectly. Prices were a little high, but portions were very large. Drink prices were also on the high side (4 cocktails came to $64). They have a HUGE bourbon list with different flight options if that is your thing. Wait staff was not very attentive, but not rude as some other reviews have stated. Plenty of menu options (looking forward to trying the meatloaf!), so we will be back.“
