“This is a staple of my downtown work days. Good food and the proprietor is very friendly. He will offer recommendations and samples and is very warm and kind. That is sometimes enough to make my day. Old style service is hard to find. Food is good. I typically order the large Bourbon Chicken with half and half spicy rice and potatoes or red beans. Don't be dismayed that this is in the basement of Talbot Tower. It's a good choice! Support your local businesses and pay a visit!“

I asked for the cook to tell him personally how good and fresh his spicy chicken was and show my appreciation with a tip. He turned it smiled and told me he's just doing his job.
