“We had lunch this afternoon at the Tin Goose Diner, first time visiting it came highly recommended from my friend Jeff Rahla. We both had smash burgers with iced tea. Our food was very good came out hot. It was a huge bonus getting to watch all the aircraft takeoff and land just outside the diner. The cleanliness of the restaurant was very impressive. Absolutely spotless. Our server, Jacob was very friendly and provided us great service .“

After reading other reviews, we see that there were complaints about this issue recently. The menu says “Lake Erie perch sandwich”. Nothing about an up charge for Lake Erie perch.“

“Stopped here for dinner a few evenings ago. We're regulars in the area and were looking for somewhere new to grab food. This was our first visit here. We ordered the Pizza, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Hand Cut Fries and Homemade Egg Rolls. Everything was very good. The pizza was surprisingly tasty for it's size and crust thickness. The Egg Rolls were delicious. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was breaded and it had a bit of old-time nostalgia with how it was cooked compared to fried chicken sandwiches that have too much breading, making it flavorful and juicy. We ordered our food to-go so we could eat at their Tiki Bar by the water. The pricing is inexpensive and we paid under $40, not including drinks. The views were nice and we were able to watch a lovely sunset. We will definitely be back to try some of the other items off their menu!“

“This is by far the best fast food restaurant we have in our area. I’ve had had a bad experience or meal here. The manager Ken is the greatest I’ve had the pleasure of knowing him even when he worked at a different location. People like him make restaurant experience enjoyable! “Saw the sign for Big Boy from the highway and did a hard exit to see if it was the tastes I remember from childhood. I had a great experience. Water front dining at casual food prices. The server was wonderful (?Anton?). The restaurant, parking lot, and bathroom were all clean. My coffee cup stayed full and hot and the hot fudge ice cream cake was delicious and loaded with warm, smooth fudge; it indeed brought back childhood memories. I will go back if I'm in the area again. I would only ask that the outside windows be cleaned to have an even better water view.“

“Found this gem ironically mentioned in a regional travel magazine. Definitely a local spot. I was only out of state plate in lot. Had to try the New York strip…. Perfectly cooked as requested. “The food here was really good, I got a kids chicken tenders with a side of home fries, the portion was great and the food was even better. My boyfriend got a BBQ bacon burger and it was also extremely good. The waffle fries taste like Denny’s fries. We got here at around 10 am and it was fairly slow, service was slow at first but our food came out fast. The prices can’t be beat. Staff is really good and friendly as well. Will definitely be coming back!!“
