“Hand stretched noodles, hand made dumplings, and delicious soup broth like back home. Look, this is not one of those fancy, white tablecloth restaurants. Lan Zhou is a tiny, no frills spot where you can get homemade comfort food at very reasonable prices!手工拉面,手工水饺,家乡的味道,好?If you are driving, you might score one of the on-street spots in front of the door. Otherwise, park in the giant Student Union garage right across High Street. It’s a couple of bucks but covered, safe, and well lit.“
“Very kind owners. Portions are generous and taste great. Huge menu of authentic dishes. Service is fast and reliable.Parking: There is plenty of parking in the area, most of it paid on the street in a lot or garage. Parking on the street is free on Sundays.“
“02/19/24. I ordered “Vegetable Egg Foo Young/with Fried Rice” I was referred to this restaurant. Let me TELL YOU! The Staff is on top of it. The lady at the counter was friendly and patient while I looked over their large Menu selection. As guest came to Dine In. The staff was ready fast and courteous. They give you A LOT of fresh hot FOOD!I will be back…“
“Bella was wonderful! I haven’t been to PF Chang’s in quite a while and she made wonderful recommendations to this born again newbie (she even guided us away from something too spicy for our liking!) I don’t expect much from chain restaurant, but Bella is setting a new standard.“
“I have been coming here for 20 years (at one point my family could hum along to every Chinese instrumental song on the restaurant playlist) and it somehow tastes better and better every time. I absolutely love this place. Nothing's a miss on the menu, the bar pours a stiff drink, and Annie (the owner) is the kindest person. Super friendly waiters and I think, the one of best neighborhood, classic family restaurants in Columbus.“
“I love the quality/variety of cuisine, the considerate service, the pleasant atmosphere - in short, everything about Chi Thai. My family and I have never been disappointed in an order here. We have come here for dinner and lunch (I love the Ma La string beans with tofu and hot and sour soup), and have gotten take-out as well (drunken noodles or pad thai, and vegetarian spring rolls heat up so well in the air fryer). We have also ordered catering for a large dinner evening at a local VFW, and they were beyond fantastic! They made sure to give us heaping quantities of everything at a great price, and even gave us recommendations on entrees and estimating quantities to order based on their/our prior events. Whether you want a few apps for two when you are on the run, a sit-down family dinner at home, a foodie night out for ten, or a party for your office, Chi Thai will make you so happy!Vegetarian options: There are many, many vegetarian offerings. You just have to ask for items to be made without meat or with tofu instead of meat. They are very very kind :)Dietary restrictions: The restaurant will do everything they can to help make items free of allergens. I am allergic to dairy, so this is not as big of a problem here, but I am also unable to digest meat. They modify dishes to include tofu instead of meat with no surcharge or question, and add extra vegetables to give extra nutrition.Parking: Loads of free parking“
“I’m a ride or die here. Literally the only place I repeatedly order from. They’re so consistently great when it comes to quality and quantity of food and the service is always great! I’ve never had a bad experience from here and I genuinely recommend them to everyone I know.“
“Very delicious! Chicken & mushrooms had lots of other veggies too. Fried rice had tasty additions as well. Soft instrumental Christian music playing, and they allow eat-in (another restaurant has no more of that). AND they are open on Mondays -- most other Chinese locations in PTown are closed Mondays. I will eat here again for sure!!“
“Great Ramen. The restaurant is all kiosk ordering, so if you had cash, as I did, you have to get somebody's attention in the kitchen to come out and complete your order. I had the spicy Tam Tam ramen, which could have been a bit more spicy, but other than that it was excellent. The broth was serious bone broth. Good ingredients. Good cooking.“
“My favorite Chinese restaurant. Food is always good and with no surprise or mistakes.Parking: Large lot with excellent lighting.Kid-friendliness: Spacious dining area.Wheelchair accessibility: Only issue would be no mechanical door, however the door isn't heavy.“
“Ordered takeout over the phone. Food was fresh and good! I had general tso and crab rangoons. Only thing I'd change is to add some vegetables to the rice or entrees. But not a big deal. Lady at the counter was super nice! They've added things to the menu from customer requests. Will definitely order again.“
“Really great service!!! This was my first time but definitely not my last. I asked a lot of questions and our waitress was very helpful. We went for a friend's birthday and we all loved our food ❤️ the drinks were good too and strong I could only have 1 but it was great ? I would highly recommend the ? wings ?Vegetarian options: Veggie fried rice and several other options“
“Me and my husband got the teriyaki chicken sticks and 2 house lo mein, and I will never go to another Chinese restaurant again. This will be our all time favorite place to go to!!! The food is absolutely amazing, perfectly seasoned and the sauce is just right! The woman that checked me out was the sweetest and was so kind❤️ we can’t wait to go back again!!“
“Service was awesome all of the way thru, food was perfect are waiter he was the best or one of the best waiters I've ever had, definitely awesome. Clean booth area including below floor, restrooms ; spacious restaurant looked super great!! Thank You so much!!Parking: Definitely awesome but it can't keep up with the service or spacious restaurant. Luck of the draw though ?.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Best Orange Chicken I have ever had, Pink Egg Roll was delicious but I am from Northern OH and it is exactly comparable to my favorite place up the #1 Kitchen. The Fried Rice was very good but presentation wasn't as I would have liked. Definitely instant hit though for me off the bat, really hits on my I like what I like creature of habit likings ?“
“I will definitely return. I live 14 minutes away. I arrived a little late....On my way home, I stopped to fill up the gas tank. Then I headed to the store for drinks, but on the way got pulled over. Got away with a warning, went on my way, and my food was still hot enough to burn my mouth. It was also tasty. Would recommend.“
“I have been looking for a Chinese restaurant closer to me and this is definitely an option. Crab Rangoon had great filing. Soups were at the level I hoped for. Hunan chicken was very good and most important for me returning. Orange chicken was a huge portion. Rices were both fluffy. Surprise were the little fried noodles. Normally I won't waste my time on these but they were fresh like ones I enjoy at Hunan Lion.“
“The Shrimp fried rice is delicious I couldn’t eat fast enough it’s so good and the Orange chicken is just as good! My second time here this week ☺️The prices are good too so it leaves plenty of room to add a nice tip! They are always really nice here too!“
“Been meaning to try this place for years now, finally made it in. This place rules. I can’t wait to go back. Had the spicy beef noodle soup and spring rolls. Spring rolls were a little undercooked but I can forgive it. The soup was great, and an absolute ton of food. The guy who took my order was great. No notes. Keep it up.“
“I try to go here weekly, always great food and great service. The meat is always plentiful and the veggies are always fresh.Vegetarian options: The vegetable medley and the multiple various tofu options are all delicious, I've tried them myself for some variety and they did not disappoint.Dietary restrictions: I tell Ping about my dietary restriction and she makes sure they accommodate without issues.Parking: Plenty of parking on the side, right next to the building. There's some parking in front too but they can fill up sometimes.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything to enter the building is flat, handicap parking is right next to the door, tables are accessible.“
“We got takeout and it was very delicious. I had concerns since most everything take out upsets my stomach but I did not have any issues at all nor did the family. Food was tasty and fresh. ♡ hot and sour soup, praram long song, cashew chicken, and sweet and sour chicken, spring rolls. ♡ The phone system is older just keep calling back.“
“I placed a Door Dash order Friday night at 7pm.Based upon another favorable review I ordered an egg roll and I agree it was delicious!I ordered Chicken Lo-Mein and it was fresh with great flavor. The order followed my special notes (requested side of sauce and no veggies in Lo Mein). The chicken was fresh and perfectly cooked. The price was favorable as well.I would definitely order from here again.[Note: I never give 5 stars on my first experience with takeout. I will update accordingly after my follow-up experience.]“
“Basic American Chinese takeout place where exchange happens through a window. There is no dine in!Food was alright, rice could be fresher and sauces were basic stuff, but I can't complain about the cost ($6.75 for lunch combos). Ample serving size. You can order ahead and pick up when you're passing by. The only real downside is that it's somewhat out of the way for a lot of folks who could use cheaper meals.Parking: Tons of free parking around the building.“
“Ordered food to go. Chicken & broccoli was really good. Husband had the house lo mein, said it was very good as well. We shared a crab rangoon appetizer. They were delicious. Freshness & crispness in each bite. Filling was creamy & smooth.Nice, polite young lady waited on us. Talked about setting up for a super bowl party coming in tonight.Inside is relaxing, clean & not overly decorated. Will go back to dine in.“
“Best Chinese Restaurant in Columbus! It's always fresh and tasty!! We go there every month! Has authentic and American iced Chinese food. It's very reasonably priced as well.Kid-friendliness: It is a very casual and kid friendly atmosphere. We take our grandkids there, and they love it!!“
“A solid 4 stars based on my takeout order on DoorDash. I got the combo with two entrees and a side. Deff a good amount of food, I was able to split into two meals. The general tso's chicken was good, however it said spicy and it was deff not even spicy. Otherwise it still had good flavor and texture, just wish maybe there was an option for more spicy. The green bean chicken was also pretty good and the reason I sough out this place. The green beans were crispy, however the texture of the chicken was not always my favorite. It was very thin pieces but sometimes a bit tough. The white rice was standard and paired well with both entrees. I also got the usual soy sauce and duck sauce packets which I didn't use, and a fortune cookie. I think I would order from here again.“
“The food is your usual 'culprits' when ordering chinese food. the food quality is great; though I will say the beef on a stick can be hit or miss due to how long they're cooked for.The female staffer in the front is always cheery and ready to help. Overall, recommend if you want a quick bite.“
“I don't carewhat anyone says this is the best fried rice in the state. I had stopped eating Asian food for almost 2 years because nothing came close to a different establishment back in my home state... this place was a God send. Try the chicken fried rice hot&spicy its amazing! Also to note always able to pick up in 10 minutes very prompt and nice people.“
“I stopped in here for lunch because I had never tried it. It was pretty busy! The ambiance was very lacking for dine in eating. However, the staff was friendly and my order was just as I had ordered.Generally, I order General Tso as a basis because I have had excellent and terrible experiences with this particular dish.Overall, the food was good but just shy of what I consider 5 star on flavor and presentation.I think I will return on a different day to test consistency and also take the opportunity to try something new.“
“Fast. Delicious. And now.....online ordering! One of our go-to places when the planned groceries didn't last as far into the week as we expected. It is also that special celebration dinner where you are hankering for a good meal. They do have options other than the dishes you expect from a Chinese cuisine hot spot. Our son really likes their fried chicken tenders. If you are a fan of General Tso's Chicken but don't always want the breading, try the Chicken Fried Rice with a side of General Tso sauce. Yummy in the tummy.Portion sizes are huge. You can easily get 2-3 meals out of an entree. Get enough egg rolls, and you are enjoying some good eats for a few meals. No wrong decisions to be made.“
“I love ordering food from here. Personally I get take out, but I’ve dined in once or twice. The quality of the food is pretty good even when it’s take out and the portions are very large, which I love. They’ve got a large menu and I’ve personally never been disappointed by anything I’ve tried even if I’ve never had it before. I come back for the Tom Kha Gai and Thai dumplings regularly. I also recommend the orange chicken, lo mein, beef buns and pad thai. I think I’ve been getting this place pretty regularly for a few months now and I’m always happy with the food :)“
“So. I had the medium size Beef fried rice. It was good. I'm an anti pea person in my fried rice and there was no peas; I was Happy. They do put a good amount of bean sprouts and onions in the rice. I will definitely be back again to check them out again for other options.“
“Always order from China House.Their food is fantastic. Always HotInexpensive.Service is Wonderful. They deliver to Reynoldsburg, where we live.We Love China House! We have stopped ordering from these other takeout restaurants. The food at other places are horrible!!!China House is #1Thank you China House!???????Terrie & Chuck“
“I was thrilled to hear this Asian restaurant was still open. It is under new ownership and the food is just as good! The portions were very generous and the staff was friendly. The owner was very helpful and appreciative of our business. The strip of businesses is all that remains from City Center Mall. Very glad this restaurant is still open. I'll be back!“
“Pretty chill, fun time. Had a pro and a con to even out. Con, drinks were pricy, which would be fine if the strength matched the price but it did not. Pro, they opened the upstairs for us even when the place was prettt empty and it was really pleasant to chill up there“
“Omg I'm almost 50 yrs old and have been going to Jades since I was probably 8 or 9 yrs old. Except it was on main St. And the wor su gui is so addicting and I've been to so many other Chinese restaurants and no one makes it as good as jades. I've also ate the Cantonese chow mein and jades chow mein and it to is so si goid. The food is amazing!!! I live 58 miles away my own but I drive up just to get my favorite Chinese food. would most definitely recommend Jades!!“
“Really is a hole in the wall and could use some upgrades inside but who cares if it's clean and the foods good!! Everything was cooked perfectly, a few pieces of chicken were a little burnt but I'm fine with that, someone else may not be. Way better then when I went years ago!! One order of general tsos with the rice it comes with is enough to feed two people, especially if you add a side like Crab Rangoon which are also amazing.“
“My wife, daughter and I had lunch at Gengis Grill. We all had the small bowl special that included egg roll and drink. We all agreed food was very good and prices were very fair for the portion and everything that was included.Employees were very helpful and friendly..We will definitely be back when we are in the OSU area.“
“Being from Houston, TX, and it being a giant melting pot and huge Chinatown, I’m pretty picky about my Chinese/Asian food. Finally, I’ve found a restaurant that’s up to par with the food back home! We got the Sesame Chicken (left), Salt & Pepper Squid (middle) and the Beef Chow Fun (right). The Sesame Chicken had the right amount of crunch with the fried breading. The sauce was a little thick but still really good. The Salt & Pepper Squid, an all time favorite of mine, was salty, savory and crunchy. The Beef Chow Fun was flavorful and the pieces of beef in it were a great touch. There was only one other family in the restaurant since we came an hour before closing but the staff male member was incredibly fast and efficient with getting us seated, delivering waters right away and bringing our food out fast.Definitely found my new go-to Chinese restaurant for dine-in and to-go!“
“I got this for take out for the 1st time from a coworkers recommendation, it was soooo good! One of the only places that listened to my "extra spicy" plea for the kung-pao chicken ?! It was super yummy and filling, and of course even better reheated the next day! Can't wait to try more. ??“
“Don't let the size of Buckeye Asian Express fool you. Given the size of their space, they put out a lot of good food for their customers at a reasonable price. When you enter the store, you can see the entire kitchen. You may want to take note of the cleanliness of the kitchen. The remainder of the restaurant is the entryway, a counter to serve folks from and a table and a few chairs in the off chance that there is a wait. Which, by the way, if you do have to wait there is a puzzle on the table to work so that you can entertain yourself. I have only ever been disappointed once when ordering here. Come on, everyone has an off night now and again. They do made to order spice levels and always have a smile. If you haven't tried it yet, give it a chance. The portions are plentiful, the quality of the food is high , prices are reasonable and the service is always great.Vegetarian options: There are 13 different dishes that are vegetarian. These consist of offerings with string beans, tofu, mixed vegetables mushrooms, and nuts. Of the 13 dishes, there are 6 spicy dishes and the other 7 are not spicy.Dietary restrictions: They do not use MSG.Parking: Parking is located directly in front of the store and is shared with a few other businesses that are close by.“
“I was in the neighborhood, and in my experience Chinese spots in the ghetto tend to be the best. It’s not the most ghetto ghetto, but it counts, and I generally can’t pass up the opportunity to try a new Chinese restaurant.Besides the phad thai, which was ok, and the fried rice? which looks like turmeric rice and lacks the soy sauce/msg umami flavor I crave, the sesame chicken was pretty good and spicy surprisingly. The beef lo mein was as expected. My 2 brothers knocked it out in 5 minutes. The chicken fried rice was meh (why is the chicken so bright white? like I was genuine sussed out by this). That aside, the crab rangoon was the real star of the show. Crispy, flaky, creamy not too cheesy BUSSIN down your chin good (really happened to our beards), and they provide a generous cup of that strawberry sauce stuff. This is the only reason I may go 10+ miles out of my way to get 2-3 orders of these rangoons alone.“
“This Sesame Chicken was absolutely delicious! I'm not from the area, and I had a craving for takeout. This place was near my hotel. Food was HOT. Fried rice, and the 2 egg rolls we're also yummy!! They also put some kind of orange sauce in a cup. Dipping the egg rolls in that was to die for!!????? FIVE stars!“
“Like many Chinese restaurants, service is pretty straight forward. My fave is spicy wings, beef with chinese broccoli/yu choy/eggplant (I just take turn of which veg I'd like that day), beef n egg with rice, and salted fish fried rice. We actually just tried Gen Tso today, it's nothing special. I'd stick with my regular next time.“
“This is our new go-to pickup spot for Asian food. I’m a fan of the pad Thai and husband gets the sesame chicken with fried rice. It’s quick and online ordering is easy. Food is good for a place with this big of a menu. I tried the teriyaki once and won’t get that again.“
“Kind of a tiny place but very cozy. I got sweet and sour chicken and an egg roll. The food was definitely made from scratch so it was really tasty. The egg roll was cabbage forward which I liked and cooked perfect. The sweet and sour chicken was a light breading so it was tasty and the meat was “
“Ordered steak and chicken hibachi via door dash. Food was great! They started my order promptly, and I got it earlier than anticipated. Great portion size!! Much better than another place I tried last night. Got more food and 2 egg rolls for same price, even after tipping the driver. Would definitely order again!! Thank you!“
“Chinese food has always been a favorite of mine. However in the last few years I’ve really struggled to find a place that’s good. Usually I’m not impressed. However the food is outstanding here, every single time they hit the mark. Will be a customer for a long “
“Love this place. Food is always fresh and tasty. I always get the shrimp lomein and love it. People that complain about the prices going up are simply broke and complainers. Economy isn't what it used to be but even so its extremely cheap.“
“I can never get enough panda express .... I've ate it since I was about 12 years old and always get the same thing both chow mein and fried rice ...use to be double orange chicken but I just don't like it like I use to ...but I do love the sweet and fiery chicken with the pineapples and peppers ... It's so amazingly delicious.“
