The girl at the counter was polite and the food was out fast, even though it looked like they were busy back there. Saw a guy wrapping egg rolls in the back and mine definitely tasted like it was made fresh in-house. I think I paid $12 for the combo.10/10 would recommend, would go back, got great value for my money.“

The BBQ spare ribs were hands-down my favorite appetizer—so flavorful and perfectly cooked👍 Everything we ordered was delicious: beef fried rice, mapo tofu, beef clay pot, black pepper beef short ribs, and the garlic eggplant. All the food is very flavorful and truly tasted authentic. The dining area is also very spacious and comfortable, making it great for groups. “I have lived in this area for quite some time and was not aware of this Chinese Restaurant; however, I am glad that I now know of them. I bought two Shrimp Egg Rolls, thinking they would be like the place I used to go to on Libby and Warrensville. To my surprise, I could only eat one and the shrimp were so large and delicious. The sweet and sour chicken is good. This has now become my favorite Chinese restaurant.“

Beef broccoli was plentiful and delicious.
But the fried rice is so plain and dry.
Terriaki chicken is tender and good but again the fried rice dry and so plain.

“My new favorite Chinese food restaurant. I decided to try this place for the first time the other week. I have since been back a couple time - both delivery and pickup orders. Each time my food has been hot, fresh, generously portioned, and packaged well. The restaurant itself if quiet and clean. The gentleman who handed me my food was welcoming and kind. I'll continue to come back.“

“New to the area so we decided to give this place a try. The shopkeeper was generous enough and the food was great. Crab ragoons are crispy and flavorful. Sweet and sour chicken and fried rice were both decent. The General Tso though was awesome - the sauce was just the right amount of heat and tang. Hotter than most other places I've been to but it's delicious. They even have peppers and green onion in the sauce which is a nice touch, and the chicken was super crispy even though it was sauced. Definitely coming back to try more of their food.“

The lemon chicken is my personal favorite. I love that they serve it with a nice size lemon wedge for extra flavor. So delicious.“

“I am normally not a quick stop Chinese restaurant place. Typically I like sit down traditional Chinese restaurants. I was coming home from work the other night and I was very hungry and China Gate is right around the corner from me and I figured hey I'll stop I'll order something safe and get my belly full. I have to say I was so pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. I had the a drop wonton soup , potstickers, and their combination chow mein. I was so impressed 2 Days Later after I ate my leftovers LOL. I ordered egg foo young which is a huge test for me because I'm in egg foo young fanatic. Also very delicious. And tonight my new favorite dish from them is Singapore noodles. And their crab rangoon to the side is just amazing. Good job China Gate! I will be a returning customer for years. If I had one piece of feedback it would be a little bit more flavor in your soup broth but other than that everything was fantastic. Also helps that it was extremely affordable versus a traditional sit-down Chinese restaurant.“
