We had to wait a little longer for food to be served this time, but they were packed. Wait staff here are the best! We've been going here for years and definitely highly recommend them. The short ribs special was very good and we all agreed that the bay scallops and shrimp risotto is an outstanding dish! The entire staff is very friendly and for a busy Saturday night, we enjoyed excellent service! Highly recommend this lovely restaurant in downtown. “The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was so cozy, comfy, and just really nice. The atmosphere alone would make me want to try this place again. They vary the menu a lot I see with lots of fun offerings, but I think it would be nice to keep a couple more staple items on the menu. I would have really liked some sort of salad with my meal or maybe a French onion soup and they did not have any soups or salads. Espresso martinis were really great! I got a pasta dish. Loved all the components of it, but do feel the sauce felt unfinished. The sourdough toast app was great. My wife got the pork with collards and grits. Would have been great if the pork was cooked more. The grits and greens were great, but texture of the pork made us cringe. I know not fully cooked pork is more common these days, but typically we’re asked how we want it cooked and it was an after thought to mention we wanted it fully cooked. We now know for next time! Free dessert was provided for our anniversary and that was really nice!“

“I recently ordered breakfast from Four Seasons Kitchen. I had the Sausage Egg & Cheese Burrito and home fries. The home fries were very good. The burrito was fine, but could have used more flavor. It was mostly egg and potato, with too little sausage to really be noticeable. I wish I had had some hot sauce with me to at least give it some kick. Still, I'd eat there again.“

“Northstar Cafe in Columbus was a great find. The cookie alone was worth the stop. Fresh, soft, and full of flavour. The sandwiches and shakes were just as impressive and everything tasted like it was made with real quality ingredients.

This is an order at the counter and serve yourself style cafe, so there is no table service, but the setup works well for the vibe of the place. The food comes out quickly, the space is clean, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.

Overall, Northstar Cafe delivered a delicious and enjoyable experience. Great food, great desserts, and a casual style that makes it easy to sit back and enjoy your meal. Five stars.“

“It's been a while since we've been to The Rossi and we are so glad we dined there yesterday. First, they have one heck of a Happy Hour both for their food and beverage offerings were fantastic, I mean how often do you see French 75s and Palomas on a Happy Hour menu. Second, their staff, front of the house, bartenders and servers all have the impeccable timing as far as knowing when to check-in which made the whole experience relaxing & leaving us truly happy! Finally, the restaurant itself has character in a good way... the rays of sunlight dancing thru the windows and the sparkle off of the lighting fixtures leaves patrons with the impression the owners of this bar care about the ambience! “We had friends in town that were staying downtown. They wanted to grab a quick breakfast early (9 am) on a Sunday before hitting the road. The restaurant was not very busy at 9 am, but was getting fairly full by 10 am. \n\nThe Guild House was an excellent spot to meet in the Short North area close to downtown. The Short North is a busy and trendy area near the convention center. However, on this Sunday there was easy (free) street parking (you still had to use the Park Mobile App) nearby. You could also use the valet or a nearby parking garage. \n\nThe service (Baba) was excellent, Friendly and prompt! The food was a little pricey but very good. I had the Eggs Benedict ($17) and coffee ($5). In fact, almost everyone in our group had the same order. \n\nWe definitely noted this place as a great place to meet up with friends in the middle of Columbus. Most folks dressed pretty casual for breakfast.“

I haven’t been to the J. Alexander’s in Worthington in a few years, and wow — they reminded me exactly why this place used to be one of my favorites.

The ribs were fall-off-the-bone perfect. The meatballs were packed with flavor. The mac & cheese was creamy, rich, and downright comforting. But the real surprise of the night?

The burgers are excellent as well, cooked just right and packed with flavor. And if you’re a brunch or cocktail fan, don’t skip their Bloody Mary; it’s easily one of the best around.
