“This subway is no ordinary subway. The team and the customer service is phenomenal. I used to pop into this location on Fridays after the gym due to convenience and very quickly started going for the convenience, consistency and customer service. The young lady that works there on Friday mornings knows my order by heart and always remembers what I was doing the week before. The gentlemen almost have it down as well! Lol. very thankful for the "family oriented presence you get at this subway location and my bacon, egg and cheese sandwich always hits the spot!“
“Good sandwiches, including the unwich, which I got. They only criticism, is they seem to be too freaky fast. When the worker put my sandwich on the counter, she mumbled the name so fast, that I wasn't sure if was mine or not. She'd put two up there, and I only ordered one. It wasn't till no one else picked them up that I guessed that one was mine. I got it and it was tasty.“
“A superb establishment. Locally owned, huge portions, good prices, very tasty, and the owner is one of the kindest people you'll ever meet. Great service, cool location, and the employees take so much pride in what they do. 10/10 would recommend. SUPPORT LOCAL POC BUSINESSES!“
“I had a great weekday lunch here for about $15, including a hearty cup of soup and a full-sized custom sandwich. I was there around noon and the line had started to get long, but it moved fast. In spite of the lunch rush, the guy working the register was warm and friendly. I ate there and had my food in about 10 minutes. I'll definitely be back for lunch the next time I'm downtown.“
“We were in town for business and in and out of lots of bars and restaurants while we were there. Every single one of them told us to try Wario's as we probed for the best lunch spot. Our last stop before heading back to Cincy was Wario's and OMG it lived up to every once of the hype. This place is some good we are passing through next week and we will be back.“
“Everything about my experience was enjoyable. I work downtown and stopped in for a quick lunch and quick was an understatement. I had the chipotle chicken sandwich. I was hesitant to get this only because I'm not a huge fan of tomatoes but the tomato jam was a perfect combination of sweet and spicy. So good and I will definitely be back to try another sandwich.“
“I absolutely love this place. I work right next door to it and it’s always a pleasure to go in on my break and get a sandwich and sometimes some chips and chat with the owners. They are very accommodating and always super kind. I highly recommend this place to anyone if you’re in Bexley and are looking for some place to eat. They are closed Sunday/Monday but be sure to try them out when they are open. Love you Newfangled crew❤️“
“I haven’t been to a WG Grinder in well over 25 years. Went to today on a whim and it did not disappoint! Salad was amazing and so was my tuna sandwich. Service was excellent! Love the vibe of the restaurant. Workers were very nice and brought the food to our table. Just really enjoyed my lunch and will be “
“1st time here, went inside and cashier Lilli was the best! She gave me recommendations, suggested the mac & cheese and she was correct that it was delicious! The plain chicken salad on a croissant was delicious as well!It was clean inside, the staff was courteous and all the food that I saw (other patrons) looked appetizing! My only critique (not criticism) would be to put a little more chicken salad on the croissant (a little too much empty space around the edges of the bread), but not a dealbreaker!I will definitely be a repeat customer here!“
“While out running errands in Clintonville, we stopped for lunch at Wario's Beef and Pork (aka Wario's). The dining room was packed.. always a good sign. There were 8-10 menu items to choose from. We chose a beefsteak to share. There are two streak sandwiches, we chose the Steak-Wario's way. Basically a steak sandwich chopped up with cheese and onions all in a sesame seed hoagie bun. What makes it different is it has a combination of cheeses on it. My husband liked it more than Marlows in Gahanna. I thought it fell behind Marlows and South Village Grill. They are generous with the meat. The hoagie has seasame seeds on it. I did not enjoy that texture or flavor paired with the cheese steak. The steak was a bit greasy and definitely left a greasy after taste. As far as portion sizing one hoagie can absolutely be split between two people. The one thing I did note and that was disappointing was the dining room didn't feel clean. I looked to the side of my table and it was pretty dirty (see picture). My husband will be back... me, probably not. Kind of a one and done type of place for me. I was not blown away. Id say this is more like a 3.8 star place/review but since we can only use whole numbers I had to round up. But it is definitely not a solid 4.“
“We really like this place and go there often. We have had several things on the menu, and it has all been good. We especially like the gyros and the potato teasers.Friendly staff, and it's always clean here. Something for everyone on the menu, and we have picky eaters in our group.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kid favorites available“
“I’ve loved Sandwich Man for a long time! If you haven’t tried it, you’re seriously missing out! THE BEST wings in Ohio! The tradition garlic parm wings are a MUST! Sides like Mac n cheese and greens are on point too! Also, I can not mention the service/atmosphere full of amazingly great people who are amongst the most real and genuinely sweet business owners around!“
“I stayed at the Marriot only a 5 minute walk from here, of all the places we tried downtown this is the one we thought we’d miss the most when we left. The lunch menu is amazing, I wish I got to try the breakfast. For how busy it is in there and what seems like only two people behind the counter, the service was phenomenal. The cashier recognized us as soon as we came in and thanked us for coming back. Food is great and fresh, you can see them folding sourdough behind the counter! Beautiful atmosphere, lovely staff, delicious food. If you have about 15-20 minutes to stop in I absolutely recommend it. Do not skip the home fries with rosemary aioli!“
“The best subs in town, I used to go there years ago and I didn't know where they moved but I am so glad I found them because They have always had the best subs in Ohio I will never go anywhere else as long as they are open ?Mmmmm Good!Parking: It's a very small spot but they do half parking for just pick up and they also do deliver I just never had them deliver I've always picked up Great place.“
“Wow East Market does it again. This place reminds me of Deli’s in Philly where I grew up. These sammies are full of meat and flavor. I got the Money Penny the pimento cheese absolutely sets it off, a lil bit of heat from the peppers came together. Then followed up with a Bearded Baker cheesecake to call it a day!“
“My wife and I dropped by to try this place out because, as you all know, I love a good sub sandwich. They did not disappoint. I had the Chicken Marinated Bomb and became an instant fan. Like they say in commercials, it was "grilled to perfection", topped with fresh vegetables, tasty, firm bread, savory flavor and wonderful aftertaste that you hate to drink behind for fear of losing it.The fries were a heaping helping, cooked just right as well. I love them crispy and salted so well that ketchup isn't needed. And it wasn't, but I added it anyway because I love my ketchup. The owner was very kind and the staff seemed energetic and generally happy to serve. That always helps. Survey says... (DING!) Try it! It's worth the trip.I've got my eye on that cheeseburger, so that's next.“
“Just found this place yesterday and I'm coming back today! Incredible subs. Tons of meat, great bread, super sauce, and knockout taste. Anyone who does not love these subs likes pineapple on pizza, raisins in potato salad, and the team up north. These are legit subs for those with real palates. If ya know, ya know. If you don't agree, you've bumped your head! #CosmicSauceTilIDie“
“What an amazing team! I called at 10:00 AM and needed 75 Lunch Boxes by 1:00 PM, the Manager said "we will get to work"! No complaning, no doubt in her teams ability... just a "Will Do" attitude and they came through!!! I called around to other places for before I reached out to them and everyone of them needed 24 hr notice (which I totally understand). This store saved the day! I'd give them 10 stars if I could! Great Job Jersey Mike's Pullman Dr.!!!“
“Would give them 6 stars if I could. Been working in the area for the last two years and every single time I come here it's perfect. Truly consistent service and quality. Most subways haven't been great but this location hits the mark every time. Keep it up!“
“Didn't know that the sale several years ago didn't go through...was excited to learn that it was still open. Went there for the first time since. Great food and quality, just as I remembered. Now for the issues with our service. Although our waitress was nice...we put our drink and food order in at the same time because we had already decided what we wanted. In the roughly 15 minutes (maybe longer), our waitress went to the bathroom, got herself something to drink, was doing who knows what else in between....I had to approach her, tell her she still hadn't gotten us our drinks and she made up some excuse about silverware to cover for the fact that she hadn't gotten our drinks. She was nice and fairly on top of things after that....Parking: Very small lot, aisles (or traveling lanes) in parking lot are narrow and corners are tight to maneuver, but that's common in several places in the area.“
“Charley's have great pilly steak sandwiches and fries.I personally think that is the best on the menu.Their service is always right on time. Also the atmosphere is always good. When my daughter visits me we always go to Charley's.Because she doesn't have one where she lives. And that's her favorite place to eat.“
“Always excellent service and great food. If you want a sub don't go anywhere else but to FIREHOUSE subs! The hook and ladder is my favorite!!Kid-friendliness: Great place to take the kids!Parking: Located in a strip mall so plenty of parking!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in and out.“
“Decent place for what it is. Time Management was horrible hence the 4 stars I waiting for about 15 mins for my food at the drive thru window. The cashier was very nice and sweet that's the only reason they got 4 stars because of her. The food was OK but again it's a fast casual food place so that is too be expected.“
“The employees in this location are so nice and patient. Every time I come in there is a wait (I never mind). From checking out to the kitchen staff everyone is working diligently to fill orders. However I would like to shout out the sweetest Employee DeShawn. Today we went through the drive-through lane, and he allowed me a place three different orders, which was very kind of him! He was also very patient with us as he took our orders, and he was overall pleasant when we got to the window to make payment. There was a busy rush. There were three cars behind us. Our first orders even got messed up and he made sure to have them fixed immediately. And me and my coworkers love this place and today's experience meet us want to come back every time we work in the office. Thank you, DeShawn. Also we always see him anytime we come in and he is the nicest.“
“I love this place. My fries were smoking hot.. my chicken philly was smoking hot. I dont have not one complaint about this place. Other than me having to drive to morse road today after i get off of work at 9pm. lmao but im ok with that!!!! GREAT SERVICE!!!! FAST SERVICE!!!!! AND FRESH FOOD!!!!! Meals are made as you order... enjoy“
“I am a man of honesty, integrity, and reliability. With that being said, PJ’s blew my mind and exceeded my expectations. Most would call me the Gordon Ramsay of food reviews due to my brutal honesty. People who say bad luck isn’t real have never met me before. From getting my cornea torn, getting laced with laxatives, getting bit by a raccoon, and experiencing much more, my food reviewing journey has been devastating.PJ’s hit the nail on the head with the richness I seek when reviewing food. The atmosphere at PJ's is simply perfect. Leaving this place with explosive diarrhea, but satisfied taste buds met my expectations. Anyone who claims this place is overrated is probably on a strict nut diet and can’t appreciate food that holds true meaning.“
“Clean, fast, good food. Dont get me wrong its horrible for you, but the Roman burger is almost addictive. All the toppings are always fresh and crisp. The best part is my experience is always consistent regardless of the location. This is my guilty pleasure and lobe that burgers so dang much. If you haven't had one before do yourself a favor and check it out.“
“I've eaten here quite a few times, especially in the last few months. I can't rank the 'atmosphere' because I've only ever used the drive-thru, but the food has always been great. The subs are pretty good sized. They're a lot like Penn Station. My only criticism comes with an offset: the drive-thru is very slow -- but, that's probably because they're cooking food for your order; this isn't fast food, so it takes time. You're probably better off going in to order. Again, it's just not fast food, which is probably why it tastes better than fast food!“
“The sub shop is very clean and feels pretty open. I ordered the meatless porta bello mushroom cheese sub, my bro had a chicken cheese sub, and mom had an Italian sub. I do not remember the actual sub names. The subs did not come with lettuce, tomatoes, vinegar, or seasoning unless you specifically request it as they didn't ask. I advise being ready to ask for it "Mike's way" if you want that. Kind of wish they had more veggies to add, but a hot sub was good. This was only my second time and there was a line so didn't get to look as long as I wanted. They did bring the 2 hot subs to our table once ready so that was nice. There are fountain drinks and the bathroom is clean.“
“My crew and I came in for lunch 7 straight days while we were doing a job in the area and could not have made a better decision.Absolutely fabulous selections. Wonderful flavors. Cooked to perfection. Outstanding & friendly customer service. Not the typical, every sub on the menu tastes the same type of thing. Like you get it others sub shops. We will be back for sureCustomers for life ?Sid Meisner / OwnerSid's Stucco and Painting“
“I have food allergies and sensitivities, so I am always extra cautious when I go to a new place. The folks here took my issues quite seriously, checking ingredients on their special sauces and making sure I knew which items to avoid or which items could be modified to accommodate my food needs. They made sure to use a separate knife when cutting, spreading sauces, etc, to avoid cross contamination. The gentleman we were primarily working with to order said he cooked in the army and had to go through rigorous food safety training there, including managing food allergies for their troops.Grinders also has a gluten-free breading option (my issues are with dairy and pepper [the seasoning], but the GF bread is also DF so I was able to eat it without issues). Seriously, I can't express how grateful I was for the level of service we received. I don't live in Columbus, but I've found a new sandwich place when I'm there with my boyfriend, and we are both happy to have tried this spot!Dietary restrictions: They took my food allergies and sensitivities very seriously, going as far as checking ingredients for my problem foods to make sure I was safe.“
“SO GOOD!!! I haven't been here in so long. I don't remember it being THIS GOOD! I got it To Go and my Philly Cheesesteak (extra grilled onions, add Banana Pepper!) was served open faced in a box. This made me so happy (because I hate when subs are rolled up in paper & it all falls apart when you try to eat it!) The cheese & bacon fries were so yummy & super fresh (not sitting in old grease). The food is FRESH & DELICIOUS! This cheesesteak is SO GOOd!! I'm coming tomorrow to try the Chicken Philly!“
“This is how Subway should be run, with the owner being a former sandwich artist who worked their way up, this is how franchieses should be run. Fantastic food, fantastic service, and genuinely well utilized space considering the odd shape of the property. I highly suggest this “
“The best Subway I've been to!! The family that manages this shop is friendly, hard working and thoughtful to its customers. They always take a moment to say hello with a smile when you order, and make an effort to know their regular customers. The food is always fresh, sandwiches made with care, and the dining area clean. This is not your average Subway -- it rekindled my interest in eating Subway; now I'm a regular.“
“Great location! The service was good. They loaded the salad a little weird - I had to deconstruct it to heat the chicken. The dressings were plentiful and prepackaged- overall the quality of the produce was really good.Vegetarian options: Lots of options for fresh veggies!Dietary restrictions: Loads of options for most dietsParking: Make sure to lock your vehicle- this area has had some break ins.Kid-friendliness: Kids meals and seating availableWheelchair accessibility: Standard accessibility“
“I love this location it is always clean, the staff is always super friendly and the food is always fresh!! Thank you to our cashier Angela for helping us today, your attitude was positive and your customer service skills were outstanding. We will definitely be returning.“
“Excellent service when placing our catering order - easy and accommodating to special requests. The delivery and set up prior to the event was on time and by a very friendly and knowledgeable DiBella's catering employee. We have used them prior to this event and will definitely use them again. I highly recommend them for the product, the service, and the price.Vegetarian options: I like that there are two vegetarian options: one with lots of various veggies and a little cheese, and one with more cheese and just lettuce/tomato. We chose the cheese option this time as one of our sub choices and it was very well received.“
“This place has spoiled me. I no longer want to go to any other sub-sandwich shop. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh. The atmosphere is great, the staff is smiling and attentive to your needs. The place is very clean. The pricing is affordable and fair.If i could give them 6 stars I would. I can't say enough good things about the place. Absolutely bravo!!“
“Very clean and neat Big plus that the sandwich makers aren't rookiesand don't try to act like toppings are being paid for by them persoally(you know what I mean).Wheelchair accessibility: I use a quantum rehab power wheelchair and had no problem getting in or out.“
“This is the best Subway in the area. The other reviews are a bit older, maybe they have a new owner. We come here at least once a week. I either get a Turkey and Ham or a BMT. Both, I get on flat bread. The sandwiches are stuffed. Some of the employees aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer but they are always friendly when we go in. It isn't the easiest to get in and out of since they put the new cement median up, but I would still rather come here than the one on Norton.“
“Our school district had a Teacher Work Day last week and my team (along more than a dozen other teachers from the district) descended upon McAlister's for lunch. We chose them because they had several gluten free and vegetarian options for our various colleagues (and some of the best carrot cake in the state). :) Despite the onslaught of hungry teachers, the crew at the Dublin McAlister's got everyone through the line, to their tables (or out the door, for carryout), and fed swiftly and courteously. Celina (the MOD that day/shift) even came over to check on us - she apologized for the slow service - saying they were short staffed that day (it wasn't slow, but we certainly feel for her, we know a thing or two about being short staffed). We were all very impressed and left with full bellies and leftovers. We'll definitely be back.“
“"If I don't feel up to cooking on a hot summer day, McAlister's DeliI is worth the pay", I love their deli sandwiches!:) Plus they are people-friendly and I didn't have to wait long for my food.Parking: No need, it's near Meijers on Hilliard Rome Rd and well worth the traffic!:)Wheelchair accessibility: Just "roll"right on inside!:)“
“I ate a delicious mid-afternoon meal yesterday [2-13-2023] at Charleys Philly Steaks at 1980 N. High St. in the "University District" neighborhood of Columbus. My food choice for yesterday had been a "Steak Philly Cheesesteak" and a "Regular Original Fries."I remember a restaurant named "Charley's Steakery" -- perhaps at that same exact location -- many years ago -- while I had worked at the former Long's Book Store at 1836 N. High St.The building where Charleys Philly Steaks is located had been built as a movie theater in 1947 and features a bas relief depiction of OSU football legend Chic Harley permanently installed on the outside wall. That movie theater has been converted since then to two side-by-side businesses. If you are looking for a delicious "Philly Chesesteak" or other similar items, I recommend Charleys Philly Steaks.“
“A little over $4 for a 6 inch veggie no veggies lolMy kiddo has a very specific way of eating at subway, he like marinara with light cheese toasted. He enjoys one from time to time. It's easy to make and easy to mess up, but they do a nice job.“
“We stopped in here for a quick dinner before catching a performance at the Ohio Theater. We ordered veggie subs which were a yummy goodness. The staff was so welcoming, friendly and quick with our order. Would definitely recommend to others!!“
“Charlie's chicken cheesesteak was so delicious I could not stop eating! This is another one of my must haves on rotation! I had the footlong because I was starving. Tastebuds lovin' each bite, come on and get some of this cheesesteak. Thank me later!“
“Jared came to my rescue! I was responsible for providing 16 sandwiches for artists who were participating in a local event. I placed my order the day before, and when I arrived to pick up my food, it was ready to go. He took a lot of time allowing me to use my coupons, neatly packing things up and marking the sandwiches, make little cups of mayo up, providing fresh lettuce and tomatoes separately. He made me look like a rock star! Thanks Jared!“
“I ate a delicious supper recently [2-14-2023] at Jersey Mike's Subs at 905 High St. in the "Old Worthington" neighborhood of Worthington.I had been planning to attend a meeting that evening at the Old Worthington Library so eating immediately before my meeting at Jersey Mike's Subs [only a few blocks away from that library] had been a great choice. My food choice for supper that evening had been "#13 The Original Italian" [provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni], which I had ordered served "Mike's Way."There is a different submarine restaurant that is "officially" my favorite submarine restaurant for cold subs but Jersey Mike's Subs is actually better for cold subs than that other restaurant.I really wish that there were a Jersey Mike's Subs closer to where I live because I am certain that I would eat there more often. My only options for eating at a Jersey Mike's Subs are to walk 1½ miles each way or to ride 8½ miles each way in a car [I do not drive].If you are looking for a delicious -- and very filling -- submarine sandwich, I strongly recommend Jersey Mike's Subs.“
