“Review #600...This place is legit! With constant 30 minute waits while he fulfills mainly phone orders, you know it's super popular for a reason.. Why? Because this is some of the best authentic Mexican food around! First, I am addicted to their consomé. On a cool evening I drink it like coffee. It's crazy delicious with a big squeeze of lime, has lots of chile flavor and just the right spice level for me. A 16 oz cup is $2.50. Drizzle it on their tacos for an OMG flavor punch. Second, their signature brisket "vapor" tacos are shredded, marinated, super tender and flavorful -- another of my local favorites. Again, especially with that consomé. Third, they also serve super tender carnitas that just melt in your mouth. (But I do recommend skipping their dry carne asada). Tacos were $1.75 each. The man taking orders is super friendly. It is a food truck and cash only. Parking lot gets full but a spot will usually open up. If you come, be sure to call ahead and enjoy some the best real Mexican food in the city!“

“This had been on my radar for a while as someone who loves Mexican seafood. I had the Torre Aguachile and Tostada de Ceviche. The food was so refreshing and delicious. The aguachile was heavy on serrano peppers which was great for flavor but watch out if you don't like spice.“
“The atmosphere is very different from the original. It’s not as loud. This location is bright and clean. The ceviche is really good and fresh. The tuna was my favorite. We had the fried fish taco and the surf and turf. They were both good but I definitely liked the surf and turf much more. The tacos are pretty large and filling.“

“So a friend and I went here for lunch. We were seated promptly and served water while we waited for our server. First I'll get this out of the way the service and the ambiance is fantastic and it's very relaxing and inviting, we sat outside and we were comfortable. Now the rest, so we ordered the street corn which was ok at best, the mayo in the corn had some kind off taste to it and the corn itself seemed like it was from an older batch. Next we had our entrees, I ordered the Enchiladas and my friend had the Asada taco and the Burnt End Brisket Taco. The beans and rice were ok not much to write about but the Enchiladas where strange and after speaking with my friend about his food we came to the conclusion that these dishes where thrown together with the thought that these combinations seemed Latin inspired or Latin/Mexican fusion without any realization of it actually going together. Textures were off and the representation of the food was disappointing. The Enchiladas are stuffed with Green and Red bell peppers, the same day old corn and tater tots, not even taking the time to actually cook some decent potatoes. The tacos were just a random combination of things that sound Latin or Mexican thrown together without knowing the textures and flavors would compliment the dish. All in all it was a great disappointment in the food. The drinks were great and the churros were ok. Hopefully they up their food standards soon and I'll give it another chance.“

“I got 2x Quecas Al Pastor, 1x Quecas Barbacoa, and 1 Gordita chicharrones verde. The Al pastor Quecas are incredible, especially with the salsa roja. 2 is a meal, 3 gets you nice and stuffed. The Gordita was super strange texture and flavor wise, would not recommend.“
“JINYA Ramen bar is a nice place to have ramen. They have many options of ramen to choose from. The Ramen was good, but not great. I felt the serving size was a little small for the price compared to other local Ramen shops in the metro. I had the tonkatsu ramen black and the jinya bun, pork steamed bun, and they were both flavorful and appeasing. On the other hand, the corn tempura was not that great. It was bland and did not pair well with the soy sauce baseed sauce that was served with it. The restaurant atmosphere is modern style, and they say welcome in Japanese when you enter and say thank you in Japanese when you leave to give the authentic Ramen shop feel. My biggest negative is that the music is to loud. It was hard to hold a conversation with the person with me, sitting next to me. I really love their character mural on the wall, and on the sake vessel, It has a Samurai Champloo vibe.“

We weren't sure what to expect when we pulled up, but it turned out to be great!The gentleman behind the counter asked if it was our first time in when we entered, and when we approached to order, he took time to go over the whole menu with us.They have several Gluten-Free options--i.e., a GF bun or tortilla or lettuce wrap--for the burgers. Speaking of the burgers, they were delicious! Cooked perfectly! The fries were handcut & yummy, and the onion rings were just right & tasty! They even offered a free dessert (they had a selection from which to choose on the counter). Drinks were all in cans. Oh, and the bacon jam on your burger? Just do it & thank me later!We met the chef-- she was so kind & proud of her food (& she had every right to be!). Often times a good product is produced but lacks consistency to back the product glad that's not the case here and this isn't a review based on one or twos visits.“

“A friend raved about this place and says he eats here 3 days a week. It was just okay. I had the taquitos. Pros: taquitos were small but delicious. Rice and beans were excellent. Cons: all the salsas are way too spicy, garnishes and whole Jalapeño were inedible due to heat. I'm not whimpy with spice either. It felt wasteful throwing away all the sides i couldn't eat.“
